Mumbai Police’s social media team is at it againThey legit have a hilarious outlook towards everyday stuff.
The 20th of April is a pretty special date, at least for fans of grass. No, not the ones that are fed to cows, but the ones that you smoke. 20th April, or 4:20 as it is commonly referred to in pop-culture, is an unofficial day that is close to the hearts of cannabis users all over the world.

Now, movies and television shows, including some specialised prime time news channels will have you believe that the only way to consume cannabis is through smoking marijuana, or weed. Firstly, that’s not legal in India, at least not yet, and secondly, it is also not true. Ever heard of CBD oils? And also, special “space brownies” aka edibles?
    © iStock
Well, it seems that Mumbai Police is of the same opinion. This is what they put out on social media, i.e. Instagram & Twitter, marking the date:

    View this post on Instagram
The origin of the concept of cannabis and 420 dates back to the 1970s, and was first used in California. Apparently, the story goes that high-school students across the state would often get together at around 4:20 PM after their classes, and go in search for the cannabis plant in their areas, for obvious reasons.

Now, whether that story is true or not, the reality is that the moniker, stuck.

Coming back to post that Mumbai Police made, we have to say that apart from being responsible, it is also hilarious. However, not as hilarious as some of the reactions that the posts got. Some, even demanded that smoking them should be made legal.

A special shoutout to whoever operating Mumbai’s social media handles. They truly deserve a raise. Surprisingly, Twitter & Instragram agree.

Say what you will, but this was pretty hilarious. Not sure that this is the message that Mumbai Police wanted to send out, but still, hilarious indeed.

Who can forget Yuvraj Singh's iconic revenge against Andrew Flintoff at the expense of the poor Stuart Broad by hitting 6 sixes consecutively? The man remains an icon till date for that goosebump-worthy feat, but it looks like he knows how to commit absolute carnage in the style department too.
    View this post on Instagram
Yuvi has been growing his hair under the careful watch of the hair-master Mr Aalim Hakim himself, and he has been teasing us with the same. However, he just hit a huge style sixer by going for a statement style that most men would be scared of.
    © instagram/aalimhakim
Yes, Yuvraj Singh decided to experiment with the dreaded yet fierce 'cornrow' style, as his current hair length can support the style.

    © instagram/aalimhakim
Now whether he decides to leave it open at the back, tie it up in a stylish high pony, or go for the quintessential man bun post that remains to be seen, but from the looks of it, he's prepared to rock it, irrespective of the style.

    © instagram/aalimhakim
Talking about cricketers experimenting with hairstyle, no one has really pushed the envelope except our Captain Cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni, but looks like Yuvi is ready to take him on now.

Everything said and done, he does look happy with his new hairstyle, and that's all that matters really, doesn't it?

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were spotted at the Mumbai airport on Monday evening. The couple had their daughter Vamika along with them. They returned from Chennai where Virat's team Royal Challengers Bangalore played against Kolkata Knight Riders. The actor was seen carrying Vamika in a baby sling and she made sure that the paparazzi aren’t able to click her pictures.
View this post on InstagramPeople were quick to send in their opinions and slammed the actor for not taking care of her own baby as India is not safe considering the rising cases of COVID in the country. They advised her to keep their daughter at home and not travel with Virat because that will put their child in danger.

Isn’t it unfair to bash the actor as she obviously will be taking care of her own daughter more than the people who are brutally judging her for not doing the needful? Tell us what you feel in the comments section below.

Upon Vamika's birth, the couple had requested the media not to click or publish pictures of their daughter. They have, instead, offered a few glimpses of her on social media, without ever revealing her face.

Despite Virat and Anushka requesting the paparazzi to not click their daughter, the photographers are continuing to do so. Some people also noticed how the actor stared at the photographers in an angry manner as she might have felt that they are invading her privacy.
    Here’s the video:

Virat had announced her arrival on January 11 with an Instagram post. “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat," he wrote.
Their love story began on the sets of a shampoo commercial that they did together. After dating for several years, the couple got married in a private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy in the year 2017.

Apex Legends is currently one of the most popular battle royale games on PC and Consoles with over 100 million players. Now, the game will be making its way to mobile phones developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. EA announced the game will be making its way to mobile platforms for free and will have a slightly different experience than the main games on PC and consoles.
    © EA
“Beginning later this month,” Game Director for Apex Legends said in a blog post, “we’re kicking off the first regional beta tests for Apex Legends Mobile. […] Apex Legends Mobile is specially designed for touchscreens, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimisations that result in the most advanced battle royale combat available on a phone. It’s a new version of Apex Legends, but it’s true to the original.”

From what we’ve seen so far, the mobile version of the game will look similar to the main game but we expect it to have certain tweaks to make it playable on mobile platforms. EA has not given a glimpse at the touchscreen controls or the interface either. There is also no word whether the game will have support for controllers and gamepads either. What we do know is that the mobile game will not have cross-play with PCs and consoles.
    © EA
Apex Legends Mobile will be available via a limited closed beta in India and the Philippines for Android Devices only at the time. The developers plan to extend support to iOS devices later and include more regions in future tests. We have not received an official release date for the game as of yet. If you would like to pre-register for the game, Android users can visit the registration link here.

Battle-royale games like PUBG have been extremely popular in India and it could be the reason why EA is looking to beta test in India first. It is possible that the game might fill the void left by PUBG mobile as it was banned in India last year. The game was banned due to its association with Tencent Games, a Chinese gaming company that faced blanket bans from the Indian Government over national security concerns.

Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli is some character, be it in terms of the leadership or the tenacity that he brings on the field while leading the line for his homeland or his Indian Premier League (IPL) club, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

The 32-year-old Delhi-born cricketing superstar is known for wearing his heart on the sleeve. However, it is his all-around cricketing ability that never lets things get in the way of his team's success.

Questions might have been raised on the future of Indian Cricket when Kohli took over the Indian captaincy from Mahendra Singh Dhoni, considered to be the most successful Indian captain ever and a person who is said to have ice in his veins.

However, Kohli despite known for his aggressive nature has managed to mature as a leader and as a cricketer to lead for both India and RCB.
Like all the top leaders of exceptional sporting teams, Kohli knows the trick of getting the best out of his players and being their number one cheerleader, with the instance clearly visible in RCB's latest win against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
On Sunday (April 18), the RCB-duo of Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers put in a stellar performance to register an emphatic 38-run win over Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The win cemented RCB's status at the very top of the IPL table as both Maxwell and AB de Villiers scored 78 and 76 runs in an incredible performance to show that the team from Bangalore meant business.
Apart from the win, what was an absolute sight to see was Captain Kohli enthusiastically applauding Maxwell's half-century from the team dugout.

Manoj Bajpayee is an extraordinary actor and has won the hearts of many people with his presence on OTT.

He has impressed the audience through his performances in his projects like The Family Man, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, and Silence... Can You Hear It?
In an exclusive interview with TOI, he said, “It’s quite humbling. It’s been quite an amazing journey, starting with ‘The Family Man’ to ‘Silence...'--all of the projects that I have been a part of, have been enjoying massive success. And you know, it not only leaves me speechless and overwhelmed but also with a lot of thankfulness for the audience and for the directors who chose me for these parts.”
View this post on InstagramHe expressed his stance on how OTT has changed him as an actor, he said, “I am still the same actor that I have always been. I still work on the script and character. Preparation is something that I completely focus on. There’s no compromise. I am still the same actor who always follows the vision of the director. I am still the same person who always feels lucky and grateful that he is still here and is still so relevant. People are watching my projects and watching my work so you know, I am still the same actor, the same person. Nothing has changed. I don’t think anything will change about me as a person or as an actor.”
“Well, there’s a policy that OTT will self-regulate, which, I think, is much better than having somebody to sensor creative projects which they might be completely unaware about. It will be better if there is some kind of an understanding between the OTT and creative people, as then, eventually, they will be able to find a common ground to agree on. I am completely in favor of giving 18+ or 16+ or 7+ ratings to categorizing films rather than having censorship. With OTT having its own regulatory body, it will not harm a creative product much. That’s what I think at this point unless OTT becomes completely nervous about all the products that they are putting on their platform,” he added.
View this post on InstagramOn being asked whether or not he missed the euphoria of theatres, he said, “Definitely. You can’t replace the collective viewing that only theatres provide. My film, ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’, was the first to have released in theatres with 50 percent capacity. All of us were very much concerned but if we won't go ahead and release, then who else would? We decided we’ll do it. And ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’ ran for more than 100 days. The exhibitors were quite kicked about keeping a film there. Yes, the footfall was not too big but it started picking up and the same people coming in and enjoying the film. Then the film went on OTT and has done remarkably well. People are still watching it. I am personally sad and disappointed that because of the resurgence we have come back to square one. But once the situation of the pandemic gets better, I know that people will be going back to theatres. It’s a different experience altogether from watching it on a big television.”

Bollywood is considered to be an eclectic mix, not just teemed with brilliant talents but also celebrities who are highly educated. However, in some cases, not having a degree didn't rob some actors from getting opportunities. These are the celebrities who proved that it's about chasing your passion, with or without holding a degree.
Here are 8 celebrities who are probably not 'highly educated' but proved that that success doesn't depend on a formal degree. Check it out.
    1. Ranbir Kapoor © Instagram/Ranbir_FC
Known for his immaculate acting prowess, Ranbir Kapoor has left no stone unturned in Bollywood. As far as his educational background is concerned, he scored low in 10th grade and declared that he had no interest in studying but would rather take up a career in acting. That totally worked out in his favour!

    2. Kajol © Instagram/Kajol
Kajol has dished out some amazing performances in various movies. But being a part of Bollywood came at a cost of losing out on getting a complete education. Kajol intended to go back to studies, but she got a role in movies, at the mere age of seventeen. Her love for movies superseded the formal degree and hence she pursued a full-time career in acting.

    3. Aamir Khan © Instagram/Aamir Khan_FC
Aamir is called the perfectionist of Bollywood but when it comes to education, he didn't have a good start. Due to financial constraints in the family, Aamir did his schooling from Mumbai and could only complete his 12th grade. He was more into sports but his passion for acting made him leave his higher education. He then started looking out for work in Bollywood.

    4. Kangana Ranaut © Instagram/Kangana Ranaut
Kangana Ranaut, who usually speaks up for the raging issues in Bollywood, has also been a Queen when it comes to her educational background. Ranaut pursued medical studies and did her schooling at DAV School in Chandigarh. She was a studious girl, however, after failing a chemistry test in 12th grade, her life took a dramatic turn. Ranaut ventured into the modelling world and then moved to the Bollywood industry.

    5. Salman Khan © Instagram/Salman Khan
Salman Khan is one of the 'biggest' actors that Bollywood has given us. However, taking a look at his academic background, it wasn't as fruitful as his acting career. Salman completed his schooling at Bandra's St. Stanislaus High School and then went to St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai for higher education. He dropped out after his second year.

    6. Arjun Kapoor © Instagram/Arjun Kapoor
When it comes to Arjun Kapoor's educational background, it wasn't as eventful as his acting career. He did his schooling at Arya Vidya Mandir School in Mumbai. But after failing in 11th grade, Arjun quit academic life and worked as an assistant director for the movie Kal Ho Naa Ho.

    7. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan © Instagram/ Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Supposedly, Aishwarya too is a college dropout. She was always an average student in school and she studied for a year in Jai Hind college but later moved on to pursue architecture. She had also considered a career in medicine but turns out life had other plans for her. Soon after, she started receiving modelling assignments and hence she left her studies mid-way.

    8. Akshay Kumar © Instagram/Akshay Kumar
Kumar has earned a black belt in Taekwondo. However, he wasn't as bright in academics. He studied at Don Bosco School in Mumbai and went to Guru Nanak Khalsa College, for a year but dropped out later to pursue martial arts in Singapore. Despite being less educated, his histrionic abilities have made him the Khiladi in Bollywood that he is today.
