Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were spotted at the Mumbai airport on Monday evening. The couple had their daughter Vamika along with them. They returned from Chennai where Virat's team Royal Challengers Bangalore played against Kolkata Knight Riders. The actor was seen carrying Vamika in a baby sling and she made sure that the paparazzi aren’t able to click her pictures. 

People were quick to send in their opinions and slammed the actor for not taking care of her own baby as India is not safe considering the rising cases of COVID in the country. They advised her to keep their daughter at home and not travel with Virat because that will put their child in danger.

Upon Vamika's birth, the couple had requested the media not to click or publish pictures of their daughter. They have, instead, offered a few glimpses of her on social media, without ever revealing her face. 

Despite Virat and Anushka requesting the paparazzi to not click their daughter, the photographers are continuing to do so. Some people also noticed how the actor stared at the photographers in an angry manner as she might have felt that they are invading her privacy.

Virat had announced her arrival on January 11 with an Instagram post. “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat," he wrote.

Their love story began on the sets of a shampoo commercial that they did together. After dating for several years, the couple got married in a private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy in the year 2017.
