AH-CHHOO! Man down!
That’s all it takes to get sick. Sometimes even less. While you bravely and fully trust your immune system to fight back and it does, are you sure you’re giving it all the right weapons?
See, you start off feeling great, 100 per cent confident about your health. But then one boozy late night and the energy level starts to dip. And then you follow it up with comfort food.
It feels amazing but sooner or later, you’ll run out of energy.
That’s probably when you’ll think about boosting your immune system by adding antioxidants and spices to your diet, by getting enough vitamin C and D.
It’s good that you’re thinking about your health now and drinking grandma’s immunity boosting kadha. But wouldn’t it be great if you could avoid all the things that are weakening your immunity in the first place?
1. Stress, Loneliness & Sadness Stress and lack of sleep can make the brain boost production of cortisol, a hormone that impairs the function of infection-fighting T-cells. A sudden tragic event can also weaken your body’s immune response.
According to a study published in the Journal of Neuroimmunology in December 2014, increased anxiety associated with loneliness leads to greater supression of the immune system.
Solution:Exercise regularly. Stay in touch with your friends and family. Practice relaxation techniques such as meditation, yoga or tai chi. Hug people more often.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1395__
2. Sedentary LifestyleStudies have shown that too much sitting, avoiding exercise and sun can affect your body’s ability to fight infection.
Regardless of your gender, age and harmful habits like smoking and drinking, a sedentary lifestyle can impair immune system, cause inflammation and other chronic diseases.
Solution:Stay active. Excercise for 30 minutes. Walk in the sun, preferably before 10 a.m. The harmful ultraviolet radiation from the sun can also trigger immune responses and increase the risk of infection.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1396__
3. Too Much ExerciseBeing a couch potato is not encouraged because it impairs your immune system, but extreme workouts also do the same.
Overtraining syndrome can make your body more suspectible to viruses.
Solution:Moderate physical activity makes your body less vulnerable to infection.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1397__
4. Excessive Drinking & SmokingAll kinds of cigarettes—traditional and e-cigerattes—are exposing you to nicotine which is known to increase cortisol levels.
Vapour from e-cigarettes contains free radicals that can cause airway inflammation and share impaired responses with bacteria and viruses. It can also damage the lungs and make them more susceptible to infection.
Excessive drinking has a similar effect on the immune system. It make your lungs more prone to bacterial and viral invasion.
Solution:Quit smoking. Limit your drinks. Increase your lung capacity.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1297__
5. Salt, Sugar & Saturated FatAccording to a June 2014 review published in Nutrition Journal, saturated fat can impair the immune system. Salt and sugar might also have negative effects.
Obesity reduces the number and function of white blood cells that are vital to fight infection.
Solution:Add salt and sugar to your food in moderate quantity. Eat good fat. Add cinnamon to your desserts and drinks.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1398__
The Bottomline A couple of years back, you could enjoy all the junk you want but today, when a deadly virus is spreading like a wildfire, your body needs you.
Immunity is your hero and you must take care of it in all possible ways.

While the Indian Premier League has gotten its reputation stained in the past due to certain players and franchises being found guilty of participating in cases of spot-fixing and rigging matches to gain unfear financial benefits, every now and then a game takes place within the tournament which makes the fans question the legitimacy of it.
The showdown between the Mumbai Indiansand the Kolkata Knight Riders at Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium on Tuesday explains is definitely one of those matches wherein the direction of the game completely changed around within a couple of minutes but more importantly, it is the way in which the scenario changed that has gathered the viewers’ undivided attention.
Here Are Four ‘Super Shady’ Moments From MI vs KKR That Are Making The Fans Ask Whether The Match Was Fixed Or Not:
Nitish Rana’s Steps Out For No ReasonDespite being the only player in the KKR batting lineup to score the 50-run mark, the way Nitish Rana got dismissed on the final ball of the 15th over has left the fans questioning his motives. Batting against Rahul Chahar, who had a phenomenal stint in the middle, Rana stepped outside of the crease, completely missed the mark and MI keeper Quinton de Kock ripped off the bails in no time. A visible lack of intent to get back inside the crease on Rana’s behalf also startled the viewers.
See how nitish rana got out. He didnt even try to get back to the crease. His innings was excellent but the carelessness gives me a doubt
— Aditya (@Aditya13560740) April 13, 2021Im a huge fan for KKR but I gotta say this all you guys are involved in fixing. The way you got out is so foolish no one gets out like that. And coming to Shakib and Morgan there is no necessity of hitting ball in air if RR is around 6-7. Really shame.
— Ghost (@vk05111988_) April 13, 2021Kitne Me bik gaya bhai??
Accha hai bahat hi accha hai . pic.twitter.com/9ADmc9gIHd
— NobiTA (@Shizuka_kaha_ho) April 14, 2021Andre Russell’s Passive InningsRegardless of the fact that Andre Russell went on to achieve the best bowling figures in the history of KKR (5/15 in 2 overs), it was Russell’s batting that got the fans demanding his credibility during the match. Coming on to bat at the number seven position, Russell, who has made a name for himself by hitting lengthy boundaries all his life ended up having a nine-run innings off 15 crucial deliveries.
During his time at the crease, Russell was dropped twice, once on a caught and bowled and second on a sky-high catch missed by Jasprit Bumrah. Ultimately, it was another caught and bowled offered by the 32-year old that removed him from the strike in the final over.
It was nothing but an fixed match!Andre Russell who's is the main culprit of fixing the match. He had many chances to take 2s while DK was ready, Russell refused. Moreover Russell lose too many balls while Kkr need not so many runs in proportion of balls.
— Jamilur Rahman (@ItsJamilRahman) April 14, 2021It's actually proven that the match was fixed. C'mon, how many times do one get to see André Russell playing shots like these? So how much does KKR gets to pocket for this match?
— Omar Sharif عمر شریف (@omarsk16) April 13, 2021WHAT A FIXED MATCH
THEN THEY NEED 30 OUT OF 31 AND NOW 11 of 1. kkr match fixer Andre Russell fixer
Ban them for 2 year. Match fixers,cheters kkr #starsportsindia #MIvsKKR #IPL #ShahRukhKhan #mukeshambani
— I JD JAIRAJDWIVEDI 11 (@jairajdwivedi40) April 13, 2021Always the same in the #IPL - a couple of clean looking matches at the start to lure punters in, then BOOM - a MASSIVE fix. These fixing cricketers belong in jail. Look at the way Andre Russell just tried to give his wicket away. What a joke of a fixed match #IPL2021 #matchfixing
— Ben Cook (@cricfan15) April 13, 2021Dinesh Karthik’s Lack Of IntentOne of the biggest reasons why Dinesh Karthik is being dragged into this discussion is simply because of the lack of intent shown on his part towards the winning cause of the team. Coming to bat just before Russell, Karthik managed to hit just eight runs off 11 deliveries and remained unbeaten till the end of the innings. Even Virender Sehwag criticised the two batsmen for the lack of positive intent while coming to bat.
Becz match was already fixed
— Altaf Amin (@AltafAmin6) April 14, 202113th April IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knights perhaps went wrong after 16 th over Rana was out playing for an ambitious shot. I think 27 runs required to win in 4 overs. Appears Russel and Dinesh Karthik made either Self goals like match fixed
— ramkailash (@ramkail54028172) April 14, 2021Dinesh Karthik didn't even tried to hit d ball took easy singles.
Thats how a perfect fixed match look like.
Shittt @IPL
— Nikhil Pyati (@Nikkhil01) April 14, 2021It might be really silly to speak but was the match fixed by KKR's veterans? @KKRiders @iamsrk @Eoin16 @Russell12A @DineshKarthik
— Anish Kumar Sahoo (@Anishkumarsahoo) April 14, 2021It's not acceptable at any level.. nobody going to accept this... Kindly check whether match fixed or not... Because @Russell12A @DineshKarthik they played like that only.
— Thala Vignesh (@thalavignesh53) April 14, 2021Final Five OversThe timing for Nitish Rana’s wicket could not have been any worse. The only set batsman in the team gives up his wicket on the final delivery of the 15th over off an unrealistic shot attempt, with exactly five overs left. These five overs felt like a completely different match. Catches were tossed to the fielders, simple slogs were escaping the bat every single time, almost all of the boundaries that came during this period were accidental, misfields or byes.
Sorry to say but it’s seems fixed to match we understand pitch was playing slow but not dat much where you can’t even score 25 runs in last five overs when you have world biggest hitters in your team . Really disappointing #Sharukh
— Sanju (@iambusharian) April 14, 2021When did we say bumrah or chahar fixed?? , It was the KKR players, watch tge last five overs again , watch each bowl, watch their body language, watch the dismissal of Nitish rana, this was not at all normal Cricket, Never seen anything like this before,
— Geet Sodhi (@SodhiGeet) April 14, 2021Same bhai or mujhe koi hate nhi hai mi se but this match was total fixed I mean like kon single tak nhi leta 30 off 30 balls me
— I am op (@anantsuri74) April 14, 2021Totally fixed match by fixcers.... Jyada khus na ho mipaltan.... 30 ball pe 30 wo b 8 wkt in hand...ye run to me b bna leta yar

The press and news media may be termed as the Fourth Estate, in terms of advocacy and its ability to frame political issues, however, with the news actually revolving around politicians, filmstars, sportsmen, and other celebrities, media persons are often made to adjust their timetables to suit the comfort of their interviewees.
While there are a fair few renowned people who make it a point to turn up on time, many still choose to be fashionably late for events, leaving journalists to sweat it out in the sun for hours at a go.
With most choosing to stay quiet and polite in their quest of obtaining that much-needed soundbite, there are a few who finally decide to draw the line.
This is what happened in Pakistan, where journalists who had been waiting for two hours for the country's Water and Resources Minister Faisal Vadwa to address a press conference, chose to walk out when he finally decided to arrive.
According to a 30-second video that has now gone viral on social networking sites, journalists confronted the minister on the rising corruption in the area, before withdrawing the mics and walking off from the press conference.
Epic, Bezzati. pic.twitter.com/4KwYUUhuQI
— Tejinder Singh Sodhi 🇮🇳 (@TejinderSsodhi) April 12, 2021
One journalist could be seen in the video, saying, “you did not give us time, so we are boycotting your press conference.”
Soon after, the video made rounds of the internet with viewers applauding the audacious move and calling the media persons, "journalists with spine."
Here are some of their reactions:
Bloody hell....what did I just see...!!!
You won't believe it.
Journalists with spine...!
They exist but in other countries sadly pic.twitter.com/7hvRElcSYd
— Namma Uru Bengaluru, Namma Naadu Karunadu (@CitizenKamran) April 12, 2021Bravo!! but can someone translate and give background please?? I could get the journalists were waiting for 2 hours.
— Sucheta Dalal (@suchetadalal) April 13, 2021@NAINAYADAV_06 Media is d only powerful nd independent institution in any democratic country whose responsibility nd contribution towards keeping masses alarmed nd informed on d pros nd coins of d developments by d parliamentary govt elected by d people, must b n high moral groun
— Manish Yadav (@exemanish) April 13, 2021Wow..do we have journalists like these alive now????
— 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕾𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖙 🕉️☪️✝️☮️ (@OldMonk_knoMdlO) April 13, 2021Wow that is from Pakistan 🏻
— DeviLal (@SyedDeviLal) April 13, 2021Now imagine Arnam Goswami doing that to either Modi or Amit Shah. Well too much of a fantasy I think

A brand new iPhone leak suggests that the next iPhone might get a camera upgrade users have been asking for years. According to renowned leaker Ming Chi-Kuo, the 2022 iPhone will likely get a 48MP camera that will be able to capture media in 8K resolution. For Android users, this may not be news as some smartphones already boast cameras with higher megapixels and the ability to capture 8K video. However, for Apple users, this will be the first time we could see an iPhone with a camera that has a higher resolution than 12MP.
© theregisti--unsplash
In a note, Kuo also states that the iPhone 13 mini will be the last small smartphone by Apple as well:
“We predict that the new 2022 iPhone will have 4 models, namely the high-end 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch models, and the lower-end 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch models.”
The note also went on to add that iPhones in 2022 will be getting a 48MP camera that will be able to capture 8K video. Kuo said the upgrade will come to two “high-end” models, presumably the “Pro” variants of the series. The story doesn’t end there though since the 2022 iPhone is also expected to get other camera upgrades in the near future. Kuo says that in 2021, Apple is expected to use a periscope telephoto lens as well as an under-screen Face ID feature.
© mark-chan-unsplash
Kuo has a tremendous record when it comes to Apple-related leaks and has accurately predicted iPhone launches with utmost accuracy in the past few years. Having said that, this information is still based on supply chain leaks and could change at any time. We do advise taking this information with a pinch of salt as Apple is known for throwing a wrench at the last moment.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 13 later this year and it is likely to follow the same model line up as the iPhone 12 Series. There have been rumours that Apple might use a smaller notch but that remains to be seen. If Kuo’s prediction comes to fruition, it could be the biggest upgrade we’ve seen on the iPhone yet.

WhatsApp was found to have a vulnerability that allows attackers to suspend your account without even hacking your personal details. An attacker can remotely disable your account by following a simple procedure that is meant to protect users from such instances. The flaw was found by security researchers who say this vulnerability has existed for quite a while. The attacker can suspend your account remotely even if you have two-factor authentication enabled.
First reported by Forbes, security researchers Luis Márquez Carpintero and Ernesto Canales Pereña discovered the flaw due to two reasons. The first method allows an attacker to enter your phone number on WhatsApp and request a six-digit code for logging in. Since the attacker cannot obtain the code, the attacker can make multiple requests. After numerous attempts, WhatsApp automatically blocks access to the six-digit code for a period of 12 hours.
© Quora
The attacker can then contact WhatsApp support to deactivate your phone number from the app by sending a simple email. The attacker only needs to say that the phone has been stolen or lost and WhatsApp will then request a confirmation which the attacker can respond to from their end.
With this process, your WhatsApp account will be suspended and you will not be able to communicate with anyone. You will also not be able to request a new 2FA code as your account would be deactivated since it was requested by the attacker. You can however restore your account by verifying your phone number however since the attacker has already suspended the six-digit code service on your number for 12 hours, you will not be able to recover your account. The attacker can repeat the process and lock your account for a further 12 hours as well.
WhatsApp has not detailed whether the company is working on fixing the vulnerability at the moment. Instead, the instant messaging apps ask their users to register an email address with their account via the two-step verification method as it will help the support team to assist customers better.
© pexels_anton
It is not known whether an attacker has used this method to disable WhatsApp accounts, however since the method is available in public, it is possible. The method can be used to blackmail users from losing their data and we highly advise you to register your email address with your WhatsApp account in order to recover your account without being targeted.
