    Shoe care: Trainers always look better fresh. You could clean your kicks using sneaker cleaning products that are easily available out there. Invest in a basic sneaker cleaning kit for the same. You should also spot clean, wash and wipe your trainers down regularly for so that your kicks stay fresh AF.

    Polish: You need actual sneaker polish in the colour of your shoe and not just a scruff cleaner for trainers. Compromise in quality might lead to the paste looking chalky when dry. Remember, investing in a good product goes a long way and increases the longevity of your shoes. 
    Storage: Store your sneakers and trainers in boxes and/or shoe bags keeping them stuffed with paper to help them keep their shape and absorb any excess sweat.

    Until yesterday, Barbados, the island nation in the Caribbean, used to be known across the world for being the place where 'Friends' character Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) hooked up with Joey (Matt LeBlanc), but the Windies' 'Universe Boss', Chris Gayle, decided to change that last evening when he caused it to rain sixes on the island against the visiting England cricket team.

    In a comeback match of his extremely successful career, the 39-year-old was able to get his 24th ODI century. He scored a massive 135 runs off 129 balls while having three 4s and 12 thunderous 6s to achieve this feat.
    What is crazier than these numbers is the sheer strength Gayle continues to command. There are sixes that just make it beyond the boundary line and then there are the 'Gayle Storm' sixes that disappear somewhere on stadium rooftops or even go out of them. Yesterday, Barbados experienced one such storm. 
    During the beating he put on the Englishmen last evening, Gayle's 12 sixes included a monsterous maximum that travelled for more than 120-m with the ball nowhere to be found. However, the 'ball-finding' experts believe that it may quite possibly be resting on the decks of a ship docked in the adjacent port.
    But that was just one of eight incidents when the umpires had to introduce a new white ball into the game because of Chris Gayle.

    His new found form has come up after a couple of days since the athlete had publicly announced that he would be retiring from One-Day International cricket post ICC World Cup 2019.
    Although Joe Root and the rest of the English squad was able to chase down the Windies' mammoth total of 360 runs to win the first ODI, Gayle's return to the Caribbean roster in such fashion, just a couple of months before the world cup is nothing but good new for his team.

    Imagine losing anything in the Pacific Ocean! Most of us would write it off and forget about the item we lost. That's what happened to surfer Robert Bainter when he lost his Apple Watch while body surfing a large wave. He picked up his arm and his Apple Watch was missing.

    Bainter surfs at Huntington Beach, California and was able to reunite with his lost Apple Watch six months later. The shocking thing about his discovery was that the Apple Watch was still working even after being lost at sea for six months.

    Robert Bainter told KTLA 5 TV “This thing has been my good luck charm, I would use it quite often to show the surf and how fast you were going. It would even show you where you were on the beach.”
    Bainter used Apple's Find My iPhone app to find his Apple Watch every time he visited the same beach. However, he could not find it in time and six months had passed. He got an unlikely call from a man who said he had found his watch. It was found almost 5 KMs away from where he originally lost the Apple Watch.

    The Apple Watch was able to survive deep undersea for six months however prolonged exposure to salt water made the screen a bit hazy. The Apple Watch comes with a Water Lock mode which basically seals up all the ports to avoid entry of water. It can only be disabled by scrolling on the dial as it ejects any excess water in the ports. It is possible that when Bainter's Apple Watch was lost at sea, the mode might have been turned on when he was surfing.

    Apple Watch has now become one of the most essential gadgets to own, thanks to its various health tracking features. It has been responsible for saving lives in the past too and recently, a feature that was introduced on the Apple Watch Series 4 saved a man's life this time around. Apple introduced the “fall detection” feature that alerts emergency services if a user takes a hard fall and does not get up after a minute.

    After the first minute, the watch will buzz and sound an alarm. It will then ask if you are fine or need any assistance. If the user is unable to respond in 30 seconds, it will call emergency services automatically and also sound an alarm to notify people who are nearby. The Apple Watch will also send the location of the user to the emergency services so that it is easier for them to be located.
    This feature has been responsible in the past for saving a man's life after he fell during a biking accident. Now the same feature has saved a man's life who's from New Jersey and had suffered a fall from a cliff while out for a hike.

    News12 New Jersey reported that the man was hiking in Hartshorne Woods Park. While hiking, he fell from a very steep cliff but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries. The report said, “Prudenciano fell into the river and landed on a rock. He suffered three fractures in his back, scratches and thorns that are still lodged in his foot.”
    “I was screaming that I'm going to die because I really felt I was going to die,” Prudenciano said. “There was no way out of this for me. I literally said my last goodbyes.”
    He was miraculously saved, thanks to his Apple Watch as it detected the hard fall and called 911. This feature only works on the Lte variant of the Apple Watch but does not require a carrier plan to dial emergency services.

    Sony has been silent about the PlayStation 5 ever since the logo of the console was confirmed at CES earlier this year. While Sony has made some information available about the console, we didnât know much about the PS 5 until today. New information comes from a major retailer in the United States, who is an important partner for Sony when it comes to offline sales. Information coming from GameStop is probably the most concrete details weâve heard about the console yet.

    GameStop put up a placeholder landing page for the PlayStation 5 and the page showed off some details that we were already aware of via various interviews and events along with some information that was not available previously. 
    A few of the features GameStop mentions include Full 8K TV supportCustom 8-core AMD chipset 3D Audio Built-for-purpose SSD storage/Backwards compatibility with PS4 games/PSVR hardware Ray tracing capabilitiesWhile we know some of these details from previous interviews and events, GameStop goes into detail about the custom AMD chipper the console will be using. It details that the chipset is an 8-core, 6-thread CPU based on AMD's Zen 2 microarchitecture. In comparison to the PlayStation 4, the PS5 will probably be a huge leap in processing power and graphical prowess. To put things into perspective, the Xbox Series X is already confirmed to achieve up to 12 TeraFlops and Sony is expected to have the same level of performance if not better.

    GameStop also confirmed that the Dualshock 5 will have haptic feedback technology and adaptive triggers that will let you feel in-game physics such as resistance; for example, when braking in racing games. In terms of design, weâve already seen leaked pictures of the controller and it doesnât look much different than the PlayStation 4 apart from minor changes. We also reported that Sony is looking to add biometric sensors as an accessory that can sense fear and other biometrics data which can be used to enhance your gaming experience.

    In terms of the software experience, GameStop details that the menu will allow players to "see what is happening in a game without even booting it up." Players can also "see which multiplayer matches are available or what single-player missions you are on in the game.â 
    Sony is yet to show off the console and all of its features even though it is scheduled to launch during Holiday 2020. Sony has already pulled out of key gaming events like PAX East, GDC, and E3, hinting that the console is not entirely ready for a full reveal yet.

If you aren't already working from home, then we highly suggest you talk to your employer and sort it out because it's not safe to step out of your house for some obvious reasons.
    That being said, working from home isn't ideal for a lot of people. While there are a lot of tools available online to help you stay productive, it's not going to fetch the same results for each and every firm. And that's exactly why many big-name companies are turning to AI for help.

    Facebook, for instance, has already announced that it would rely more heavily on artificial-intelligence-powered content moderation. Content moderation is something that should be taken very seriously, especially at Facebook, so this is definitely a bold move.

    Similarly, it looks like YouTube is planning on using automated software to take down videos that violate the platform's policies. The company confirmed the same in a blog post, detailing how it plans to protect its workforce.
    So we already have two big players in the industry who are now relying on artificial intelligence to handle what we think of as complex tasks. Content moderation, for those of you who don't know, is quite complicated because you could be dealing with some sensitive content.
    Going through piles of posts, videos, or images and marking the ones that violate the policy is a huge responsibility. If everything goes to plan, then one might even think that this is the ultimate AI takeover that we all have been talking about for a while now.

    Probably not. Here's the thing - even if AI systems manage to do their job well in Facebook's and YouTube's case, we won't be seeing other companies following suit immediately. Both Facebook and YouTube (Alphabet Inc) have deep roots in the field of AI, so they're probably light years ahead of other firms when it comes to AI advancements.

    Even then it looks like AI is already getting a lot of stuff wrong. It looks like Facebook's AI is marking a lot of posts as spam, even though they're not. Here, check it out

    This seems to be happening a lot lately, which means the AI is not really ready to replace humans yet, at least when it comes to content moderation. YouTube has also warned about some errors in the blog post. They're also going to use AI, or they already are, so the company says you should expect some errors going forward until everything gets back to normal.
    Building a sustainable and consistent AI isn't going to be feasible for a lot of companies just yet. Even in the case of big tech firms, the AI will go through a tough time before literally learning from its actions (mistakes). So, we highly doubt if this is the ultimate AI takeover, just yet. But it'll definitely be a defining moment for AI and maybe even the first step towards replacing humans at different workspaces.
    This whole AI situation is something worth taking note of, but absolutely not something to worry about right now. We have a lot of other things to worry about at the moment, so let's all stay strong.

    Arguably one the hottest properties in ISL, Roy Krishna set the tournament ablaze after joining Atletico de Kolkata (ATK) from Wellington Phoenix - a New Zealand football club that competes in Australia's A-League. Arriving at ATK last June, the Fiji football team captain was arguably one of the best strikers on show last season.

    The 32-year-old, captaining ATK, emerged as the joint-top goalscorer with 15 goals in 21 matches, alongside five assists and a hat-trick to his name last season.     In August 2018, Ogbeche joined NorthEast United and scored on his debut against FC Goa. Few days later, he scored a hat-trick in a mere 10 minutes during the clash against Chennaiyin FC. Showcasing his goal-scoring prowess, Ogbeche finished his debut ISL season with 12 goals for NorthEast.
    Taking note of his exploits, Kerala Blasters secured his services and reunited him with his former NorthEast coach Elco Schattorie for the 2019/20 season. Handed the role of captaincy, the 35-year-old couldn't save Kerala from enduring a disastrous season, but that didn't stop him for scoring 15 goals in 16 matches, finishing as the joint-top scorer for the 2019/20 season.     The 80-year-old recently bought his 80th Porsche, a Boxster Spyder in an eye-catching blue colour, and for his loyalty to the brand, he's also now become the first customer to be allowed to affix the Porsche Crest on the bonnet himself.

    His incredible journey with Porsche started 50 years ago on the racing track. He said, "The Porsche cars simply flew past me on all sides." That was the moment he started saving up and bought a 911 E in Speed Yellow. And thus, a long journey began.

    While he has owned 80 cars over the course of decades, his current collection stands at 38 Porsches. He said, "I can drive a different one every day for a month – and two at the weekends."

    Being able to drive a different car every day of the month, now that's something not a lot of people can say.

    He has built an entirely separate building for all his cars that is decorated with numerous cups, posters, components, trophies and mementos from races, events and Porsche Club meets.

    But, his collection is not just for show, he loves driving them and is regularly out and about with nine of his vehicles, including a 911 R, a Type 991 911 Speedster and two Boxster Spyders from the last two generations.

    While he doesn't have a favourite out of the lot, he drives his Type 981 Boxster Spyder more than the others. He said, "The sound, how it drives, its suspension, everything that it does – it is the only one of my road-legal Porsche that reminds me of my 910."

    Waiting to complete his 50 years long Porsche journey, he said, "When you are 80-years-old, you don’t think so much about the past anymore but more about the future. You look forward to things that are still to come. Since I bought my first Porsche in 1972, that anniversary will be 2022. So the circle from the past to the present is complete.     Hardik Pandya might be out of the Indian team across all three formats but that hasn’t affected his brand value in the Indian Premier League (IPL). 
    In fact, if reports are to be believed, his IPL stocks are going to touch new heights as the new Ahmedabad franchise have zeroed in on him to lead their squad in the upcoming edition of the IPL.

    The recently released web series Ranjish Hi Sahi starring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Amala Paul and Amrita Puri is created by Mahesh Bhatt and is based on his life and his infamous affair with yesteryear actress Parvin Babi. 
    In the show, Tahir plays a character inspired by Mahesh Bhatt whereas Amala Paul plays a character inspired by Parvin Babi. The show also features a character based on Vinod Khanna, who was Mahesh’s close friend. 
    Ranjish Hi Sahi is yet another adaptation of Mahesh Bhatt’s life. 
    The veteran filmmaker has often created films and shows that take an aspect of his life. In fact, some of his most loved films are in fact, inspired by his own life.

    Before Ranjish Hi Sahi, Mahesh Bhatt first adapted his extramarital affair with Parvin Babi in the 1982 classic Arth starring Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Raj Kiran. 

    Three years later in 1985, he made a TV movie called Janam starring Kumar Gaurav. The film was about an aspiring filmmaker who was the illegitimate son of a popular filmmaker. 
    For the unversed, Mahesh Bhatt was the illegitimate son of filmmaker Nanabhai Bhatt. 
    Talking about his father, he had told TOI in 2003, “I was a love child: My parents were very much in love, but not married. I was born on September 20, 1948, to Nanabhai Bhatt, a Hindu, and Shirin Mohammed Ali, a Muslim. I was born after three daughters and followed by a daughter and son. My father did not live with us. When he came home, he never took off his shoes - he wouldn't be staying.”

    In 1989, Mahesh Bhatt tackled another aspect of his life in Daddy starring Anupam Kher. The film marked the acting debut of his daughter and was about his struggle with parenthood and alcoholism. 

    In 2018, Daddy was adapted into a play and at the occasion, Mahesh Bhatt had told Hindustan Times, “I changed the climax of the film a night before we shot it. Since I quit alcohol owing to my conscience, I tweaked the climax to show my protagonist doing the same.”
    In 1990, Mahesh Bhatt once again took inspiration from his own life and made a romantic musical titled Aashiqui, one of the biggest hits of his career. The film was based on Mahesh’s romance with his first wife Lorraine Bright. 
    In 2012, Mahesh had tweeted, “The best-kept secret about Aashiqui is that it is also an autobiographical film, as it deals with the story of my very first love.”

    Later in 2017, he had further elaborated on the same. He had told Hindustan Times, “The narrative of the guy falling in love with an orphan girl was kind of cannibalised from my relationship with the first love of my life... my wife Lorraine Bright. It was the heartbeat of this love tale... I approached Pooja to play the role of her mother because I could see the story of Lorraine highly expressive and more submissive if Pooja had agreed to do it.” 

    Mahesh Bhatt then revisited his affair with Parvin Babi once again after Arth from a different perspective this time with the TV film Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee released in 1993. 
    In 1998, the filmmaker adapted his relationship with his mother and the ordeal she faced while raising illegitimate children. Titled Zakhm, the film starred Ajay Devgn in the lead role. The film also had Pooja Bhatt playing a role inspired by the life of Mahesh Bhatt’s mother and Nagarjuna playing a role inspired by his father Nanabhai Bhatt.

    A year later, in 1999, Mahesh gave up film direction but the urge to adapt his life on celluloid continued. 

    In 2006, the filmmaker wrote and backed Woh Lamhe directed by his nephew Mohit Suri and starring Shiney Ahuja and Kangana Ranaut. Like Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee, Woh Lamhe was also about Bhatt’s affair with Parvin Babi and focused on the actress’ battle with schizophrenia. 
    Around the release of the film, Mahesh Bhatt had stated, “I was watching the last scene of Woh Lamhe in my editing room when it dawned on me why human beings have always tried to keep their dead alive – we try to keep them alive in order to keep them with us. Woh Lamhe is my last goodbye to the memories of Parveen Babi. A woman whom I loved and lost.”
    Well, clearly, it wasn’t his last goodbye to the actress’ memories as he claimed in 2006. Ranjish Hi Sahi in 2022 is proof of it.

    In between, Mahesh Bhatt backed Hamari Adhuri Kahani which was released in 2015. Directed by Mohit Suri and starring Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkummar Rao, Hamari Adhuri Kahani was his tribute to his mother. 

    He had told India Today, “Yes, Hamari Adhuri Kahani is sourced from my own lived life. It has the heartbeat of my mother, who lived a difficult, solitary life as her husband, whom she loved so intensely, was conspicuous by his absence. He was simply unavailable for her.” 
    However, he mentioned that even though Zakhm was also based on similar lines, Hamari Adhuri Kahani was also about his stepmother, “Of course, this film, like Zakhm, is about my mother. But the main reason why I wrote this film was not her, but my stepmother. For the most part of my life, I saw my stepmother as a demon, but when I got closer to her I discovered that she was a magnificent woman whose life too was as tragic as my mother's.”

    In 2016, Mahesh Bhatt turned towards TV and directed a few episodes of daily soap titled Naamkaran which was based on the 1998 film Zakhm. 

    Now after the release of Ranjish Hi Sahi, here’s wondering how many more of his life story reboots Mahesh Bhatt’s going to present to the audience in future. 
    If they are more like Zakhm, Daddy and Arth, I am not complaining.

    Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit Nene, who is elated with the response to her debut Netflix series The Fame Game, has moved into her new home - a Mumbai high-rise with a sea view in Worli. As per the latest buzz, the actress will be paying an insane monthly rent for her new adobe.

    Reportedly, Madhuri and her husband are now staying in an apartment on the 29th floor with a view of the city skyline as well as sunrise and sunset. The couple has leased the house for Rs 12.5 lakh a month as rent, with a carpet area of over 5500 square feet.
    Apoorva Shroff, who has designed the house, has shared a few details about it while talking to Pinkvilla. Sharing her views about Madhuri, the designer said, "Honestly, I was surprised by how down to earth they were and how practical their requests were. The only constraint as such, was the timeline". 
    Talking about the brief given to her, Apoorva added, "The brief was to give the new home of the star couple a quick makeover. The apartment located on 29th floor of a Worli high rise had a spectacular view of the city sparkling below at night and ample of light filtering in from all directions during the day".

    Hollywood star Will Smith shocked everyone when he slapped Chris Rock at the recently-held 94th Academy Awards. Chris joked about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, appearing like 'GI Jane 2' before presenting an award at the Oscars 2022. 
    The Gemini Star became upset and stormed the stage, slapping Chris and warning him not to use his wife's name in public. 
    The incident is still the most talked-about and will remain in the public consciousness for a long time.
