Around the 13th century, the village of Kuldhara prospered with a rich lineage of Paliwal Brahmins. It is around 18 kms away from Jaisalmer and currently under the surveillance of the ASI. However, this abandoned village wasn’t always a barren land.  Legend has it, that this land was cursed and shall stay this way forever.
    © Happytrips
The story finds its root in the evil doings of Salim Singh, who was once a tax collector in this village. He fell in love with the daughter of the chief of the village and was willing to go to any extent to have his wish granted. He threatened the villagers of dire consequences if he didn’t get the woman. On that same night, thousands of villagers, from approximately 84 villages around Kuldhara, fled the place. The eerie part is that no one saw or heard them leave and the whereabouts of the Paliwal Brahmins and where they eventually resettled was never found.
    © ajabgajab
The houses are still in decent shape as they were back in the 1800’s. The abandoned village is neat and people who have managed to spend a night here, out of the need for sheer adventure, have experienced the presence of paranormal activities. The villagers around the area believe that the village is haunted and is still guarded by the ghosts of the Paliwal Brahmins who fled it.
If you happen to land here on an adventure trip, you will find people warning you of unusual sightings and experiences if you overstay your welcome. The rich fact about history is that it is intriguing and feeds on the beliefs and information that is left behind. Rajasthan is a land of rich folklore and with innumerable palaces and forts, the number of eerie tales attached to the state are also plenty.

A Facebook group for Norwegians opposed to immigration was widely mocked after members apparently could not tell the difference between empty bus seats and burka-clad women, reported The Local.
A user posted a photo of empty bus seats to the Facebook group Fedrelandet viktigst (roughly translated as ?Fatherland first?) with the question ?what do people think about this??

What they thought is apparently that they were seeing a bus full of burka-clad women.

Member after member sounded off on how ?frightening?, ?tragic? and ?scary? the scene was. Others decried that such a thing could happen in Norway (it didn?t) and worried that the phantom passengers could have ?weapons and bombs? under their garments (they didn't because, there were no passengers).

?It looks really scary, should be banned. You can never know who is under there. Could be terrorists with weapons,? one group user wrote.

?Get them out of our country, those who look like collapsed umbrellas. Frightening times we are living in,? wrote another.

?I thought it would be like this in the year 2050, but it is happening NOW!!!!? another alarmist chimed in.

The responses from the closed group went viral after Facebook user Sindre Beyer posted screenshots of people?s incredulous reactions.

?What happens when a photo of some empty bus seats is posted to a disgusting Facebook group and nearly everyone thinks they see a bunch of burkas?? he wrote in a post that was shared over 1,500 times and elicited widespread mockery of the Fedrelandet viktigst group.

?Just when I thought that nothing from that group could surprise me, they manage to actually surprise me,? a commenter wrote in response to Beyer?s post.

?I think I passed the test because the first thing I saw was a group of Darth Vaders,? cracked another.

?This is the best thing I?ve seen from blind racists since The Chappelle Show,? another user wrote in reference to the American comic?s infamous ?Clayton Bigsby? skit.

?I can definitely see the humour in it but with that being said I?m left shaking my head over the fact that people could react like that; sad,? wrote another.

Beyer told Nettavisen that he has been following the group, which has nearly 13,000 members, for some time now.

?I?m shocked by how much hate and fake news is spread there. The hatred that was displayed toward some empty bus seats really shows how much prejudices Trump wisdom,? he said.

?That?s why I shared the post so that more people can see what is happening in the dark corners of the web,? he added.

The head of the Norwegian Centre Against Racism (Antirasistisk senter) told Nettavisen that the irrational response to six empty bus seats just goes to show how quickly people jump to conclusions.

?People see what they want to see and what they want to see are dangerous Muslims. In a way it?s an interesting test of how quickly people can find confirmations of their own delusions,? Rune Berglund Steen said.

Steen said the photo portrays a scene hardly ever seen in Oslo, no matter how you look at it.

?The busses aren?t full of creepy militants and neither do they typically have so many empty seats,? he said.

The US Department of Homeland Security will soon start expanding the kinds of information it collects on immigrants to include social media information and search results.
The new policy, which covers immigrants who have obtained a green card and even naturalized citizens, will take effect from October 18. The announcement from the Trump regime was published in the Federal Register, as first spotted by BuzzFeed News.
The latest move has alarmed lawyers and privacy groups worried about how the information will be used.
"We see this as part of a larger process of high-tech surveillance of immigrants and more and more people being subjected to social media screening," Adam Schwartz, an attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, told BuzzFeed News.
"There's a growing trend at the Department of Homeland Security to be snooping on the social media of immigrants and foreigners and we think it's an invasion of privacy and deters freedom of speech."
The policy would also affect all US citizens who communicate with immigrants, Schwartz said.

Welcome to a new day and age where relationship trends change faster than our cell phone brands and new bitter ways of hurting people emerge as fastidious trendsetters. From mooning to breadcrumbing to even cushioning and ghosting, we've established new ways in which we can make people feel horrible about themselves, making relationships superficial and momentary! Whatever happened to old school ways of breaking someone's heart? Where two people involved, would spend nights on end, lamenting the loss and using terms of endearment to address the situation at hand.
    © Thinkstock
Don't be sick and tired of new dating trends just yet though. We have a brand new one doing the rounds these days and it's called 'stashing'. Stashing, when looked up on Websters, is defined as 'something safely stored in a secret place'.
Now you really don't have to be Einstein to figure what it means contextually in a relationship. You've just entered a relationship. It's been declared as 'official' already and you spend a lot of time together. Everything is going well until you suddenly realise, well, things are really not going too well! Your SO has been introduced to everyone you know in you social circle. From your friends to your parents to even your cleaning lady and your dog but you haven't met a single person from her life or her social circle yet! Well, you're being stashed, my friend and it is not even remotely pleasant!

What's the first cardinal rule of new-age dating? Social media, duh! If you're not up on social media posts and pictures it's not really dating, you see! The timely declaration of each others love is first seen on the likes of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. and if you haven't been tagged in a picture, a post or the revolutionary 'relationship status update' yet, you're on your way to being stashed! It's your girlfriend's idea of keeping her relationship hidden and living like she's still single. The fact is- no one in her life or social circle knows about you and the sad part is, no one ever will. I mean if it had to happen, it would in the first few weeks itself, wouldn't it?

There could be numerous reasons as to why you're being stashed. The two we can definitely pin-point for you are either she's dating other people and hasn't told you about them or she's embarrassed of you and is probably sticking by because the *** is good, or you're a hard-working (or not) rich man. Ether way, if you haven't even been introduced to her friends, the relationship looks quite bleak, I'll have you know!  You're probably her little secret (dirty or not) and her idea of a date with you is either sitting at home and ordering greasy Chinese food or going out to a remote dhaba and eating a plate of desi noodles, over a conversation. Sounds familiar?

By actually avoiding public confrontations about your presence in their lives, stashers get away guilt-free, without having to explain their behaviour and indulge in living the single life, with the perks of a relationship. Even if you call them out on their behaviour, their classic response would either be 'it's too soon to introduce you to anyone' or 'why are you so concerned about social media'? The easiest solution to recognise this trend is notice her social interactions and people she introduces you to and if you've only been introduced to her colony street dogs, it's time to move on, mate!

Experts are still baffled about the existence of a city in the middle of the sea, over a century after it was first discovered.
The interest in Nan Madol - the space in between - located just off the main island of Pohnpei in Micronesia in the Pacific was reignited due to satellite images of the region which allow for better observation.
The uninhabited city lies 2,500 miles from Los Angeles and is approximately 1,500 miles from Australia.
Early explorers termed the Island to be the eighth wonder of the world, owing to the 97 geometrically shaped structures separated by narrow water channels.
You can explore Nan Madol using the google maps here.
    According to the atlas obscura:

"The complex of Nan Madol is constructed on a series of artificial islets in the shallow water next to the eastern shore of the Pohnpei island. The site encloses an area approximately 1.5 km long by 0.5 km wide and it contains nearly 100 artificial islets.
Nan Madol seems to have housed the ruling elite caste of Saudeleur dynasty. It was a political and ceremonial seat of power. As a means of control of their subjects, Saudeleur dynasty had succeeded in uniting the clans of Pohnpei. The rulers forced local chieftains to leave their home villages and move to the city where their activities could be more closely observed.
Most of the islets served as a residential area, however, some of them served a special purpose, such as food preparation, coconut oil production or canoe construction. Madol Powe, the mortuary sector, contains 58 islets in the northeastern area of Nan Madol. The centrepiece of the whole complex is the royal mortuary at the islet of Nandauwas, with its 7.5m high walls surrounding the central tomb enclosure.
The population of Nan Madol was probably more than 1000 at a time when the whole population of Pohnpei barely reached 25,000. There are no sources of fresh water or possibilities to grow food on Nan Madol so all supplies had to be brought in from the mainland. The population of the city probably included a large number of commoner servants."

What is premature ejaculation? Well, it's a condition in which ejaculation occurs within a minute or less. Many times, the “release” occurs before you want it to, disappointing both you and your partner. And, in some cases, premature ejaculation (PE) can occur before you've even had a chance to penetrate your partner. PE stems from both biological and psychological factors.
    © Thinkstock
There are many myths concerning PE, so it's important to point out that this condition does not occur because a man is too “hot and bothered” to focus on what is happening with his body, his first sexual experience involved “hurried ***,” which is affecting him now – years later, he feels guilty for enjoying ***, he's too concerned with staying “stiff.” There are, however, reasons why a man may be experiencing PE, but rest assured, the reasons listed above are not usually them. So, what are some of the other PE myths? Well, listed below are four common ones that you don't want to ignore.
Listed below are four common myths about PE:
    1) Myth #1: PE is a Young Man's Problem Truth:  PE can affect any adult male, regardless of his age. In fact, a recent study assessed the occurrence and perception of premature ejaculation (PE) in 2,037 Korean men, ages 20 and older - 576 (28%) men were in their 20s, 609 (30%) in their 30s, 618 (30%) in their 40s, and 234 (12%) their 50s or older. Ultimately, only 28% of the young and middle-aged Korean men, in the study, self-reported experiencing the effects of PE. While 72% percent of older men, (40s and older), reported a higher occurrence of PE and more effects from it, which contradicted the myth that PE is only a young man's problem. In a different study that was conducted by the University of Chicago researchers examined the prevalence of premature ejaculation among men 18 to 59 years old:
    • 18-29: 30%
    • 30-39: 32%
    • 40-49: 28%
    • 50-59: 31%
Their results also suggested that PE does not decline with age.
    2) Myth #2: Men Come Out of the Womb with PE Truth: You are not born with PE. In fact, there are actually 4 different types of PE. More specifically, acquired and variable PE is not something that is with you from day one. However, according Dr. Marcel D. Waldinger, a neuropsychiatrist, approximately 91% of chronic premature ejaculation cases are caused by genetic factors. What does that mean? It means that it is possible for something (i.e. stress, illness, etc.) to trigger PE (later in life) in a man, who is predisposed to it.
    © Thinkstock
    3) Myth #3: PE Occurs When a Man is Unwilling to Last Longer Truth: Many women, whose partners have PE, often mistakenly think that their partners are just not trying hard enough to prolong the ***. Well, the truth is, it's not the man's fault. He simply cannot control when he ejaculates, and, as a result, is probably very insecure about it. The good news is, however, that PE can be successfully resolved by following an exercise-based treatment program (i.e. masturbation or full penetration exercises).
    4) Myth #4: PE Can Be Treated with Viagra or Cialis Truth: Sorry, but no it cannot. Many men ask us if they can use Viagra or Cialis to treat their PE, either because they do not know the difference between erectile dysfunction and PE, or because they are unsure of the function of these medications. Many men with PE believe that Viagra and Cialis will help delay their ejaculations, but that simply is not true.
The Difference Erectile Dysfunction And Pre-Mature Ejaculation
ED, also known as impotence, occurs when a man has a hard time getting an erection or keeping it long enough to complete the act of ***. What causes this condition? ED arises when the ***** doesn't receive an adequate amount of blood flow, preventing it from “stiffening.” PE, on the other hand, occurs when a man ejaculates too quickly. PE becomes a problem when it affects the *** life of the man – and his partner. Therefore, a man with ED has a difficult time getting and maintaining an erection, and a man with PE has a difficult time delaying ejaculation. Viagra and Cialis are used to help men with ED get and get and keep an erection long enough to have satisfying ***, but these medications do not help men with PE.
    © Thinkstock
In summary, there are many myths and misconceptions when it comes to PE, which can make it hard to decipher what is a legitimate concern and what is not. The truth is, the cause of PE varies, but regardless of the origin, it is not a controllable condition, and no one wants to have it. Thankfully, there are treatment programs that can help men and couples fix premature ejaculation, so it's important not to give up on having a satisfying *** life.

Who doesn't know the name, Muhammad Ali! He is the biggest and most celebrated sports personality of the 20th century. Seldom, would you come across someone who wouldn't have heard about his greatest achievement and bouts, but by the looks of the current boxing scenario, there seems to be a new emerging 'Muhammad Ali' of the 21st century. The new era is all set to hail its new hero Anthony Joshua, a British boxing champion, as the next reigning superstar of boxing. Don't think his new title is justified? Well, here are a few compelling reasons that will convince you that he is indeed worthy of the superstar status.
    1. A Late Starter Yet An Early Star Cdn.vox-cdn.com
AJ (as he is lovingly known) was all of 18-years-old when he first started boxing in 2007, all thanks to his cousin's insistence. Once in the ring, there was no stopping him. He was a natural star and his boxing record is a testament to that. He won the 2009 and 2010 Haringey Box Cup along with the ABA Championship in 2010. In the same year, he turned down a huge sum of 50,000 pounds to get into professional boxing. He wasn't in for the easy money, but for the love of the game!
    2. He Defeated Olympic Champion Roberto Cammarelle in 2011 Nfight.net
Just 4 years into the game, AJ soon entered the world scene and defeated the then reigning sports star and Olympic champion Roberto Cammarelle at the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championship. His one swift victory had added him to the world scenario and now he was all set to make waves. He even defeated boxer Erik Pfeifer of Germany and claimed a silver medal for his innings in the championship.
    3. His Landmark Olympic Victory On Home Ground Media.buzz.ie
The 2012 Olympics in London, Great Britain holds a special mention in AJ's boxing career. Placed on the home ground in the 91kg + category, he led a dramatic victory against the reigning super-heavyweight gold medallist, Roberto Cammarelle at just the age of 22-years-old. Staying grounded and modest as ever, he was quoted saying, "I will stay in the amateurs as long as possible. Sometimes it's hard against fighters with more experience than I've got. I want to dominate everyone in the amateurs, become a world champion, become European champion. I'm learning at each tournament. The more tournaments I go to the more I'll improve as a fighter."
    4. His Entry Into Professional Boxing CNN
AJ turned a professional under the Matchroom Sports banner in 2013 and won his first professional bout against Yoandris Salinas. There on it was a landslide victory for him at every bout he played. Beating players like Paul Butlin, Hrvoje Kisciek, Matt Skelton and Konstantin Airich, Joshua took his undefeated record to a significant 8-0. His grand entrance to the game of professional boxing was a memorable one! At just the age of 24, he won himself the WBC International Heavyweight Title.
    5. His Rise As A Superstar The Sun
From Commonwealth Games to IBF Championships, AJ rose to popularity with his landmark wins and massive professional gains. Beating the likes of Charles Martin, Dominic Breazeale and Eric Molina, he continued his undefeated reign as a champion. Along with his professional growth, he also turned into the ultimate poster boy for the youth. He is the perfect role model for the youth- a guy who isn't shy or ashamed to admit the mistakes of his past, a guy who played to his strengths by practising hard and making his way up the ladder yet staying more grounded than ever. He paints the perfect picture of modesty and professionalism.
Anthony Joshua's achievements are surreal and his track record looks unbeatable. No wonder then that he is even being considered for the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of The Year title. Voted by the public, if he does manage to bag the elite SPOTY title that has been handed out annually since 1954, he would bring boxing as an important sport to the centre stage alongside Tennis and just after Formula One. This 28-year-olds popular appeal seems to have no bounds and as rightly put up on Betway's blog, his nominations for the SPOTY will bring about an iconic shift in his already rising career as a sports superstar. Read more about Anthony Joshua and his chances of bagging the BBC SPOTY title here.

Yasser Arafat ? a Palestinian leader and chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) ? listens to journalists at the National Assembly. REUTERS via PW/JDP  Israel tried numerous times to assassinate Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat over the course of years, an Israeli journalist claimed Wednesday, according to international media outlets.

In his new book called Rise and Kill First: The Secret History of Israel?s Targeted Assassinations, investigative journalist Ronen Bergman asserts that Israeli authorities called off a bid to shoot down a plane after the realisation that Arafat was not travelling in it.
According to Bergman, the Israeli military had kept on alert four F-16s and F-15s fighter jets from November 1982 to January 1983 if Arafat was spotted and urgent action needed.
"At least five times, [the jets were ordered] to intercept and destroy airliners believed to be carrying Arafat, only to be called back soon after takeoff," Bergman wrote in the New York Times.

Of these instances, there was one where the Israeli jets closed in on a commercial aircraft "traveling from Amman to Tunisia before they were pulled off the mission", Haaretz reported.
On another, they disrupted a Boeing 707's communications.
Nevertheless, they had to turn back each time due to the non-presence of the Palestinian leader.
Bergman penned in the NYT that another staged operation saw Israeli national intelligence agency Mossad "taking advantage of lax security at the Athens airport, [where agents] waited for Arafat in the area where private planes were parked".
In yet another bid, an Israeli intelligence agency team followed Uri Avnery ? a noted journalist and activist ? when he flew to Lebanon for an interview with Arafat, where they intended to kill the Palestinian leader.
The narration turns even more shocking when Bergman mentioned that agents were ordered to take out Arafat even it meant losing a few Israeli lives.
Yet, Arafat took a different route using his sixth sense and acumen and managed to stay safe.
Israeli authorities had believed that assassinating Arafat would destabilise the Palestinian cause, resulting in its elimination, but they eventually failed.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. Image courtesy: Mavs Moneyball via Stephen Dunn/Getty Images Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban denied a claim by a woman in Oregon that he inappropriately touched her while posing for a photo in 2011.

Authorities did not pursue the claim and cited evidence contradicting the woman's account, which she alleged took place at a Portland nightclub.
Cuban said "it didn't happen" when questioned by The Associated Press about details published in the Willamette Week in Portland, Oregon.
The report comes two weeks after Sports Illustrated (SI) published a story about the workplace environment under Terdema Ussery ? the team's previous CEO ? alleging inappropriate behaviour and sexual misconduct.

Well, everybody knows that they should be investing their money as soon as they become financially independent, but often they do not know the medium to do so and thus lose the opportunity to take advantage of investing early. Here in the list below we have covered major investment options in India where you can actually put your money and have an idea of how things work.
You may not get a complete idea from the brief description, but you will get to know there are some options where you can invest your money which you did not know before.
    1. Stocks Stocks are equity in any company When you buy a stock, suppose in a private company, you are actually buying a tiny part, in fact, a share of that company. You do not get ownership unless you hold a huge share in the company. Remember that stock is often more volatile than bonds, and thus, they also yield high gains or steep losses. It all depends on how a company or that stock is performing in the market.
You can invest in stocks through platforms like Sharekhan, Angel Broking, Motilal Oswal, IIFL(India Infoline) or even with the help of your smartphone via the app like Fyers. You can call them and they will be happy to give you all the assistance you will need to start. They may or may not charge a fee for the same. It is actually that simple as you just need to take the first step of contacting them. You can indulge in intraday and interday trading both.
    2. Bonds © MumbaiTrader Blog
Bonds are basically loans and they could be corporate as well as government bonds. When you purchase a bond, you are actually loaning a sum of money to the government, for instance. Now, after some time that entity has to pay you back the amount with added interest on the money. Buying and selling bonds aren't that feasible in India as we don't have a marketplace like the US for bonds. You can do so by investing in debt mutual funds or do so with the Demat account you open, when you contact with above-mentioned platforms like Sharekhan and more or contact your bank for directly investing into bonds.
For investors who value safety over returns and have a long period of the investment plan, they can invest in tax-free bonds.
You can also invest in National Saving Certificate bond, which is a saving bond by the Indian government, primarily used for small savings and tax saving. NSC is a risk-free investment option. It is part of the Indian postal service with a fixed term of 5 years and the rate of interest is currently 7.9% compounded annually.
    3. Mutual Funds  It started with a fast-paced warning note at the end of an advertisement saying “mutual fund investments are subject to market risk, please read the documents carefully before investing.” But today the market has evolved and so has our mutual funds understanding.
Today, mutual funds are easy to invest in. They give you more interest on your money as compared to money saved in a fixed deposit and savings accounts.
The myths like much higher risk and withdrawal limitations associated with a mutual fund investment are weakening day by day. You can choose your Systematic Investment Plan(SIP) with your bank and start investing small every month. You can even begin investing with Rs 1000 per month. You can contact any bank and begin investing mutual funds. You can invest online through Scripbox
    4. The Hedge Fund, Index Funds, And Arbitrage Fund. You can read about them at the following links. Hedge fund, Index funds), and Arbitrage fund.
    5. Roth IRA  © Bank Bazaar/ Rakesh Mohan
A Roth IRA is an individual retirement plan or investment plan which is not taxable by the government of India. In India, we have the Employees Provident Fund(EPF) and Public Provident Fund(PPF) where the amount invested is tax-free (up to a pooled limit of 1.5 lakh under 80 C). The amount withdrawn is also tax exempt.
This plan is similar to the 401K retirement plan used in the USA. This is the first thing you should be doing when you get your first job and talk to your employer about the EPF.
Then there is the Equity-linked savings scheme(ELSS), which is an equity scheme offered by mutual funds in India. They offer tax benefits under the new Section 80C of Income Tax Act 1961.
    6. Commodities  A commodity is a basic good used in commerce that's interchangeable with other commodities of the same type. It could be coffee, metals like gold, something like crude oil or natural gas.
One of the most popular ways to invest in commodities is through a futures contract – an agreement to buy or sell the underlying commodity at a specified future date and price. Each futures contract represents a specific amount of a given commodity.
To invest in commodities you can take the help of a broker, open a brokerage account and invest in different physical commodities, invest in commodity futures or commodity-related stocks.
You can also invest in gold online with the help of Paytm Gold, where you can buy gold for as less Re 1.
    7. Post Office Monthly Income Account Schemes It is a plan with one of the highest returns. There is a monthly income plan of Post Office Saving Schemes which is very suitable for retired people with regular income requirements. This saving scheme does not have any risk-related factor but the interest is quite low.
    8. Company Fixed Deposits Company FDs give a higher rate of interest in comparison to the bank FDs. In this scheme, you are not allowed to withdraw money before maturity. The corporate fixed deposit schemes are not under any insurance benefits and neither it is under the control of the Reserve Bank of India. It is advisable for the investors who are willing to invest for long-term and can bear some amount of risk can opt for company FDs.
    9. Unit Linked Insurance Plans ULIP is a life insurance product, which provides risk cover for the policyholder along with investment options to invest in any number of qualified investments such as stocks, bonds or mutual funds.ULIP invests in debt and equities markets. The fluctuation is counted by the net asset value (NAV). You can contact your bank to invest in the same.
    10. Real Estate © Dhamu And Company
If you have read the book 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' by Robert T. Kiyosaki, then you will know how big an asset real estate could prove to be for you. Invest in real estate for long-term investment and see your money grow manifolds.
    11. Cryptocurrencies As the world is getting more and more reliant on the internet, Bitcoin's increasing traction seems inevitable. For those who have heard about it but are not fully aware of the technology, here is some help.
Bitcoin is secure, global, and is also the digital currency that is claiming the interest of investors. And when we look at the present scenario, one Bitcoin is worth hundreds of dollars.
Why are they so valuable? There are only 21 million Bitcoins in the world. As time goes on, they become harder and harder to obtain, just like a precious stone.
There are some platforms like Zebpay through which you can buy and sell Bitcoins in India. It is as hassle-free as it could be on an app, without you digging deep to understand the technology behind it.
Following the game, India also launched its first, local cryptocurrency with the name, ATC Coin. With it, you can pay, invest and do whatever you can with the digital currency.
    12. Startups If you are a risk taker and want to bet big, then you can invest in startups. For this, you will need an eye to spot promising entrepreneur and startups. If you are looking to invest them in the initial stages then you can become an angel investor and then manage your portfolio as you progress.

Thanks to the regular updates by the Indian Navy, we can witness the bravery and the courage with which their personnel are carrying out the rescue missions, and the risks they are taking to ensure people's safety.

Vicky Kaushal made sure that the title of the biggest *** symbol in 2018 went to the constantly underrated 'guy-next-door'. The ladies are thronging him and how! Not just that he's a cracker of an actor, he also is an equally strong fashion icon, whose style game is on point.
We looked at his various hairstyles over a period of time and decided that these are the hairstyles that would suit every guy next door, and are extremely doable.
Take a look, because this is the style inspiration you need before your next salon visit:
    1. The careless, casual mop is one of the best hairstyles if you believe in a low maintenance aesthetic. If you have wavy hair like Vicky, it works out the best. Just keep it well hydrated and conditioned, with regular clippings at the salon, and you're set. You don't even need a product!
    © Instagram
    2. The carefully cropped, 'seedha ladka' hairdo suits you the best when you're about to woo your partner's parents. While it might just come across as supremely non-adventurous, it can look great with formalwear. Office meetings + Matrimonial meetings? This is the haircut to sport!
    © Twitter
    3. If your hair has grown a bit after going for that close crop, just apply some serum and style it to give it that ethnic, 'Rajputana' edge. Works best with Indian ethnic wear.
    © Instagram
    4. Yes, the fade is out there but there's a reason why. It's simple: It suits everyone. Want to clean up and sport a suave do? Go for the fade. It won't disappoint.
    © Instagram
    5. Want to come out of your 'guy-next-door' image, at the risk of your parents' disapproval and never finding an arranged match? Go for this. Looks lit, if you're fit.
    © Instagram
    6. Also known as the post break-up don't-care mop, this one is a classic guy-next-door hairdo. Why? Not because you essentially had a breakup and got this haircut as a direct result of your heartbreak, but because it's one of the easiest to sport. Requires no work, no maintenance, and the scruffy look is a turn on for a lot of women! So win-win, we say.

These Are The Essentials You Need In Your Hair Care Kit: A shampoo according to your hair type  © Instagram/Varun Dhawan
A shampoo is obviously a huge must have item in your shower caddy. It is the basis of our hair care and hair style routines. A shampoo is obviously meant to cleanse your scalp and your hair of dirt, sweat, and excess oil. But a good shampoo will do so, without stripping off your hair (and your scalp) of the natural oil that helps keeps your hair healthy. You don't want a shampoo that is too drying. So when choosing the right shampoo for your hair, keep in mind what the issues of your hair are, these can include dandruff, greasiness of scalp, breakage, dryness. And buy one that targets these. Also, remember that it is better to stay away from harmful chemicals like sulfates and parabens, especially if you tend to have dry hair.

The next step, after cleansing your hair properly, is to nourish it. Most shampoos do take away natural moisture from your hair while cleansing. So you need something to replenish that lost moisture and counter that drying effect. And a great way to do that is to use a rich and nourishing hair conditioner. There are many conditioners that also target different issues, but the main characteristics you should look for is that it be hydrating. Do not apply conditioner directly on your scalp though, it's meant only for the hair. Once applied, keep it on for at least five minutes and then wash it off. If you have really dry hair, a leave-in conditioner is a great add-on you can try, along with DIY natural conditioners like bananas, eggs, beer washes etc.

Now that you have restored the moisture and hydration to your tresses, you need to take care of your scalp. A dry scalp will ultimately mean drier hair that is prone to breakage, aside from the obvious result of dandruff and hair fall. Everyone needs to properly oil their hair and scalp at least once a week (if you have oily hair), and upto two to three times a week (if you have dry hair). If you have serious hair or scalp issues, then make sure to see a dermatologist before deciding a hair care routine. But for most of us, having a good hair oil in our kit can fix a lot of hair problems we tend to face.

Up next is a hair serum. There are essentially two types of hair serum, one is used for styling and the other which hydrates and nourishes your hair. The first kind is for temporary use, affecting only the appearance, such as making it appear smoother. Use these while styling your hair using blow dryers. On the other side, continuing usage of a hydrating serum combats dryness, frizziness, breakage, and even split ends. The great thing about serums is that they don't need to be washed out, and they work instantly on your hair, giving it a quick and easy lift and shine.
Pro tip: Use a hydrating serum while your hair is still damp, for the best results.

Finally, end your hair care essential kit by topping it off with a hair gel or hair wax. You need to pick the right product depending on the look you want, shiny or matte, flexible or firm hold. Gel will give you a wet look, but a longer hold, while pomade and hair wax are lightweight and best to gently style your hair. Ultimately, which one you use is determined by what you are looking for, and also your hair type.
Pro tip: If you have dry hair, then skip the hair gel, as it dries it out even more.

We are officially in the middle of #NoShaveNovember, that time of the year when men get the liberty to grow and sport a badass mane, without having to be answerable to anyone (particularly their girlfriends or wives) for it.
But if your idea of #NoShaveNovember is simply confined to the notion of growing a long beard - irrespective of how you groom (or rather, NOT groom) it  - then you're headed for trouble.
Needless to say, we can't let that happen. And since we are also here to help you ace your beard game this month, here are six simple dos and don'ts that all Indian men should make sure they follow:
    1. Don't Stop Trimming As Trimming  ≠ Shaving  © Pexels
Guys let's be very clear about one thing - #NoShaveNovember does NOT give you the license to stop trimming your beard. And in the guise of not shaving it off, you can't just be sporting a beard that will make it seem like you're homeless. This doesn't mean that you can't sport a long beard - just that you should make sure your beard (regardless of its length) is well groomed. So invest in the best beard trimmer you could get your hands on, and start trimming your unruly beard. You'll thank us later.
    2. Do Invest In Beard Oils As They Will Be Your Beard's Best Friend © Official Instagram/Ranveer Singh
Beard oils pretty much end up being a godsend for all those who want to grow and maintain a beard this month. Not only do they provide your beard with the proper nourishment that it deserves, but they also help take care of the skin under your beard. As such, you absolutely need to make sure that you invest in the best beard oils out there, all of which will help you ace your facial scruff during #NoShaveNovember.
    3. Don't Follow An Irregular Sleep Cycle
Like most things in life vis-a-vis your overall health, the quality of your beard is also dependent on the amount of sleep you're getting and the type of sleep cycle you're following. After all, your body uses sleep as the time to grow and repair itself. So make sure you are getting eight to nine hours of sleep and you'll be sorted.
    4. Do Invest In An A-Grade Face & Beard Wash © PxHere
You don't need us telling you about the harmful toxins in the air these days. With pollution levels rising to an all-time high in some Indian cities, the likelihood of your facial scruff acquiring some of those toxins, dust and dirt particles are pretty high. As such, it's essential that you invest in a premium beard and face wash for men that help you cleanse your beard each day.

Investing in the proper face washes and beard oils is advisable, but there is a fine line between cleansing and OVER-cleansing. Needless to say, you need to avoid the later as depending too much on grooming products will only end up doing more harm than good.
    6.  Do Make Sure You Adopt Healthy Eating Habits! © Unsplash
You are what you eat. As it turns out, this old saying is applicable to your beards as well. After all, your eating habits also play a crucial and imperative role in determining how good your beard is going to look. So make sure you adopt a diet that is going to be rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A, eggs, potatoes, and orange juice and you'll be good to go.
