A player in any kind of sport needs to perform consistently to justify his/her place in a team, especially if he’s playing for and representing the country on the world stage. And any criticism emanating for a non-performing player, let alone a captain, is totally justified if it can be statistically proven that he’s indeed going through a rough patch. But Dhoni is an easy target, right? He’s a captain of a young team, going through a transition for the next World Cup, in not so good form himself, all the while bucking from critics gunning for his head in lure of Virat’s aggressive approach on field.
But Dhoni, for one, does not take his responsibilities lightly. He gives others a chance when he can and takes a gamble on players he prefers in his team. Yes, I say prefer because believe it or not, every captain tends to have a few favorites whether you like it or not. And while he demotes himself in the middle order while doing so, many critics with a tendency to jump the gun point out he’s not winning India games anymore, he’s not taking responsibility being in charge of such a young team, his bad form is not being analyzed by the commentators. And maybe they were right, and maybe this is the exact same reason why Dhoni promoted himself to number 4 in the third ODI against New Zealand.

For all those doubting Thomases, this innings by Dhoni is proof enough because the guy has never lacked intent. All the while he’s been giving some other players a chance to prove their worth in his team; he’s been sacrificing a spot for himself to score on flat decks here in India. Yes, he might still get out to that odd delivery while batting with number 8 or 9 lower down the order when the team requires 30 runs off 15 balls but that is just how he plays. He likes to take the games to the end when sudden death is the only option and that is what makes Dhoni what he is.
This innings, the Dhoni critics will pray, is just an exception, because in their heart of hearts they know this guy is ever so determined when he comes up the order and if he makes a habit of it in this young team, they might just run out of editorials to write. We, however, like Dhoni batting fearlessly and freely like he did in the game against New Zealand. He’s still got that zing in him and it’s easier to see that now because this guy is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Humanity is the greatest religion that we can practice, and the Sikh community, time and again, sets some stellar examples, proving the fact that you don’t need big charity functions, or a large reserve of money to help your fellow human. A loving heart and care is all that you need. The sewa of ‘langar’ is one such pursuit.

The community has a reputation of extending a helping hand whenever it is required. Be it hosting an Iftaar for Muslims in Lucknow, or offering food during the ‘Jat’ agitation in Haryana, the Sikhs have put the act of humanity above anything else.  Atul Khatri, a stand up comedian from Mumbai shared a post on his Facebook that is beyond heart warming.

He spotted a mobile langar cart at the Amritsar airport. He initially thought the man was a ‘hawker’ and was actually surprised by his presence at the airport, but when he went to him, the man explained that he was from a nearby gurudwara and was offering food to anyone and everyone who might be hungry.  A simple act can stir such strong emotions. Humanity is not dead; it just needs to be revived and people like this Sikh man are the ones to do it.

The internet can be a cruel place. Cyber bullying is real. And nobody knows it better than Taruna Aswani, who’s being threatened by a ‘sick pervert’ on the internet. She’s being blackmailed for some pictures and videos she apparently sent some time ago to her then-boyfriend with all her consent. And that’s nothing new. Sexism couldn’t be more real. Shame a woman; intrude her privacy when nothing else works. Embarrass her till she becomes an outcast for something that’s only her and hey boyfriends business. Taruna Aswani, though, is in no mood to give in. She’s taken it upon herself to expose the man and teach him a lesson for life and here’s how she’s doing it.

More power to you, girl! We need more badass women like you.

A well built physique is an outcome of progressive training, balanced nutrition and optimum rest.  However, when it comes to nutrition, majority of lifters only emphasize on their macro nutrient consumption. That is proteins, carbs and fats. They tend to ignore the significant micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) in their supplement stack, probably considering them as non-essentials. Well, that’s where you are going wrong. Here, let me take you through the details.
What Are Micronutrients?  Micronutrients are basically the nutrients that work at the backend and aids in optimal health and immunity of the body.  Our body cannot produce them (except a few) and therefore, we need to incorporate them through our diet. Micronutrients as the name suggests are required in a small quantity (less than 10grams per day). Nutrients required above 10 grams are known as macro nutrients.
Here are the 5 common micronutrients you might be skipping in your nutrition plan:
    1) Vitamin C © Thinkstock/Getty Images
Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is a water soluble vitamin that enhances body’s defense and immunity mechanism. It helps in fighting the free radical attack and prevents respiratory infections, skin, hair damage and breakdown of the muscles.
Food sources: Amla (600mg/100g), Guava (200mg/100g), Lime juice (63mg/100g) and orange (30mg/100g).
    Dosage: 40/80mg/day
    Sports nutrition requirement: 1-2g/per day
Best time for supplement intake: Post workout or bed time
    2) Vitamin E © Thinkstock/Getty Images
Vitamin E is also known as tocopherol. It’s another strong anti-oxidant that is fat soluble and protects the cell membrane. Vitamin E prevents red blood cell (RBC) breakdown and prevents hemolytic anemia. It also prevents the oxidation of LDL cholesterol, inflammation of arterial lining and hence protects from the heart diseases.
Food sources: Nuts, Seeds and unrefined vegetable oils (olive oil, palm oil, sunflower etc.)
    Dosage: 10mg/per day
    Sports nutrition requirement: 600-800mg/day
Best time for supplement intake: Post workout or bedtime
    3) Calcium © Thinkstock/Getty Images
Calcium is known for its bone strengthening properties and hence prevents osteoporosis. However, calcium plays a vital role in muscle contraction and blood clotting.  It also supports the nerve's transmission ability.
Food source: Milk and milk products, sesame seeds, ragi and green leafy vegetables.
    Dosage: 600mg/day
    Sports nutrition requirement: 1000-1500mg/day
Best time for supplement intake:  Preferably empty stomach or with an acidic medium like milk or curd.
Note: Body cannot absorb more than 500mg at a time.
    4) Vitamin D © Thinkstock/Getty Images
Vitamin D is an imperative micronutrient that acts like a hormone in our body. It helps in regulating calcium in the bones and blood. 80% population is vitamin D deficient due to the poor lifestyle and the ozone layer depletion.
Food source: Whole eggs, liver oil, sunlight (natural source) milk and butter.
    Dosage: 400 IU
    Sports nutrition requirement: 1000 IU
Best time for supplement intake: Along with the calcium
    5) Vitamin B12 © Thinkstock/Getty Images
Vitamin B12 or the cobalamine is another water soluble vitamin. Majority of vegetarians have vitamin B12 deficiency. Formation of RBC and the myelin sheath around the nerve fibers is the primary function of B12. It also aids in energy production. It prevents hypothyroidism, neurological issues and megaloblastic anemia (caused by combined deficiency of folic acid and B12).
Food Sources: Eggs, meat, liver, seafood, milk and cheese.
    Dosage: 1-2 mcg/day
    Sports nutrition requirement: 12-200 mcg/day
Best time for supplement intake: With breakfast or lunch

On October 23rd, 2001, Apple introduced the very first iPod and it was unveiled by co-founder Steve Jobs. It was a great leap for Apple after they announced the brand new iTunes music software that took the world by storm. He touted their latest mp3 player with utmost confidence and there was no doubt that the iPod succeeded in taking over the world.
Steve Jobs had a knack for staying ahead of the competition by looking at current trends and predicting what the future would be like. Speaking at the conference 15 years ago, Jobs said, “In this whole new digital music revolution, there is no market leader,” There are small companies, like Creative and Sonicblue, and then there are some large companies, like Sony, that haven’t had a hit yet; they haven’t found the recipe. No one has really found the recipe yet for digital music. And we think not only can we find the recipe, but we think the Apple brand is going to be fantastic, because people trust the Apple brand to get their great digital electronics from.”
The iPod, at the time, could store over 1000 songs and could last up to 10 hours on a single charge. It was deemed as the ultimate music device since it could transfer songs from a CD in about 10 seconds or less. When it first launched, it was priced at a whopping $400.
    © Apple
They updated the iPod for the modern generation as they launched their brand new phone, the iPhone. The iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, and iPod Touch had steered the company into a new direction and they achieved astronomical sales with just these devices alone. But, the emergence of the iPhone was a game changer. By 2010, Apple had sold over 274 million units and was declared as the sole winner when it came to digital music.
Since the launch of the iPhone, the iPod has taken a back seat when it comes to Apple’s priorities but you will still find the mp3 player’s presence in Apple stores and their websites all over the world. Just like the iPod, Sony’s Walkman and Creative’s Zen, Mp3 players are no longer relevant, as we store music on our phones and even that might be obsolete soon thanks to streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify.
The iPod may as well be as relevant as Doordarshan today but we simply cannot ignore their role the device played in defining our way of modern life. The reason why we have an iPhone today is because of the iPod, since the concept was derived from the mp3 player. Here are some pictures how the iPod has evolved over time:

The Indian Army sits at the epitome of sacrifice and gallantry. It’s because of them that we can sleep in peace. If you didn’t know, the Indian Army participates in countless joint-military with different armies from around the world and has always displayed exemplary performance.  This time around, Gorkha Rifles’ team 2/8 Gorkha went to the Cambrain Patrol, an annual international military patrolling exercise in the rugged Cambrian Mountains of Wales, which is one of the toughest military exercises in the world. And guess what, conquered the patrol and brought home a gold medal.
    © YouTube
What Is The Cambrain Patrol? The annual exercise snakes across a treacherous distance of 55 kilometers in the Cambrain Mountains. Each team is handed over tasks and missions that must be completed within 48 hours with patrol carrying its entire kit and equipment. If they lose the equipment, it will be replaced by deadweight and the team will lose points. Other things the teams are judged upon are dismounted close combat skills, obstacle crossing drills, first aid procedures, recognition of aircraft, vehicles and equipment; IED and minefield clearance drills; patrol techniques, prisoner of war (PoW) handling; helicopter drills; media handling; radio communications skills and artillery target indication procedures. It’s not exactly a competition. Points are awarded on the basis of number of points scored.

    1. Wear A Statement-y Tie © vanheusenind
Basic (translation: boring) ties are better left in the prehistoric era. If you’re wearing a tie in 2016, it should literally be straight out of a Wes Anderson movie. Think glitch prints, bold patterns and even colour blocking. The mantra here is, go big or go home!
    2. Express Yourself  © the cavalier
2016 is all about creating your own personal style—and the only way to do it, is by adding personal touches to everything from cufflinks, pocket squares, cuffs, collars and wallets. Think subtle monograms, hidden messages, good luck symbols and even initials. It’s as simple as curating your Instagram.
    3. N Is For New! © vanheusenind
In order to be a cubicle fashion icon, you must be willing to experiment and venture out into the land of fashion trends. This means throwing out your old, boring clothes and updating your office wear game, with new cuts, updated silhouettes and a fresh look—just like Van Heusen’s new range of formal wear that’ll fit and feel right.
    4. Ace That Shoe Game © Mariano Di Vaio
If you're being creative with your powerpoint presentations, there’s no reason for you to lag behind on your shoe game. Shoes can make or break your outfit, so invest in a pair (or four). If formal shoes read stuffy to you, go for minimal, white kicks. Because why not?!
    5. Presentation vs. Party © Pinterest
One of the biggest fashion mistakes guys make is not paying attention to their day-to-evening looks. Day formals should not be overly complicated. Think well-fitted cotton blazers with textured shirts, a printed tie and too-cool-for-school sneakers. However, for evenings ditch your tie and opt for a relaxed, off-duty, ‘Can I buy you a drink?’ look.

Okay, so we loved the 'Logan' trailer, right? But one thing that we all missed was the deceptively mellow soundtrack in the trailer even when the movie is R-rated! And so, as humble Marvel fans we went out to look for the original version of the Logan trailer which aptly justifies its violent rating. Take a look at the impressively cut R-rated version of Logan. That last scene will absolutely blow you away!

India won the Kabaddi World Cup for the third time in a row beating Iran 38-29 in a high octane final in Ahmedabad and Virender Sehwag didn’t waste that opportunity to troll Piers Morgan, once again.

And so, after England lost the game against India in the Kabaddi world cup, Sehwag took a dig at their performance which is below par be it cricket or Kabaddi.

Karan Johar’s highly anticipated movie 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' will now smoothly hit the theatres as MNS has called off its so called ban. MNS was furious because Fawad Khan’s a part of the film and he’s a Pakistani artist. MNS has always held a grudge against cross-border artists and this time again, the whole party went up in arms against Karan Johar. Things have been reportedly pacified after Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis intervened and called a meeting. But the thing here is that, is this type of bullying really acceptable? Well, Hardik Rajgor, a Mumbai resident voiced his opinion on the same and his FB post is going viral. Check it out below.

You’ll be surprised to know that after the meeting, Raj Thackarey made a public statement that producers can only cast Pakistani actors if they pay 5 crore towards the Army Relief Fund. Do you think it’s justified?

Old Monk is hands down the greatest rum of all times. Well at least, in India it is. When it is rum and coke, it’s pretty understood that the rum is Old Monk. But did you ever know that your favorite rum brand also makes beer? Well, yes it does and we were just as surprised as you are.
This is Old Monk 10,000, brewed by Mohan Meakin Breweries and is ONLY sold in Goa.

We can’t really comment on how it tastes but people over at ‘RateBeer’, a portal where people rate beers based on taste, don’t really vouch for it. However, it’s not about how it tastes, it’s more about knowing that one of the most loved rum brand also has beers selling in its name. Pretty cool, isn’t it?

Bermuda triangle has been a mystery for decades. A puzzle so hard to solve that even the most advanced metrological technology failed. Recently though, according to the story by the New York Post, scientists may have found the most logical explanation to the unexplained disappearances of numerous ships and planes over the dreaded Bermuda Triangle.

The study has it that the strange clouds over the triangle can be the cause of the unsolved disappearances. Using radar imagery, the scientists discovered never seen before ‘hexagonal clouds’ that may cause ‘air bombs’ as fast as 170 miles per hour. These hexagonal shapes are formed by microbursts and they are blasts of air, so powerful that they can easily sweep away ships and down planes. Though the research is still on, the explanation seems to the most logical and thought of in the recent times.

So, HC has asked the central and Delhi government to file their response on a plea to make playing the national anthem compulsory in movie theatres. Theatres in Maharashtra, Goa and many other states already have this as a mandate. Recently, a wheelchair-bound man was assaulted by ‘patriots’ for not being able to stand up for the national anthem in a movie theatre in Panaji, Goa.
    © BCCL
That’s the fiery brand of patriotism we are subscribing to today – jingoist, intolerable and absolute. The purpose of a national anthem is to bring about a sense of pride and oneness among the citizens, to extol the virtues of the nation. How and when did it become reason to assault a fellow citizen? It means there’s something terribly wrong in our interpretation of it.
And is singing the national anthem in a movie theatre sign of your patriotism? How does the national anthem fit in a movie theatre anyway? So, we go to watch Sunny Leone’s next movie and we are all kicked about it, and before it gets all heated up, you find yourself singing the national anthem. I don’t sing the gayatri mantra before, say, having ***. But it doesn’t make me any less Hindu.
    © BCCL
We are patriotic all right; we have all the respect in the world for our jawans who sacrifice their lives protecting the borders, our blood boils when we see innocent RTI activists being murdered, when we see women being raped, when we read about corrupt politicians wringing the system dry.
I can’t help but think of King Lear’s youngest daughter Cordelia from Shakespeare’s celebrated play ‘King Lear’. Among his 3 daughters, Cordelia loved him the most, but she was honest in her love and preferred her actions to speak for her rather than her words. She was beyond the outward show of affections. So, when her father asked each of the 3 daughters how much they loved her, the other 2 went overboard with their declarations of love for him, but Cordelia minced no words and told him how she loved him as any daughter loves her father and after marriage, her love would be divided between her father and her husband. The naïve king chose to banish Cordelia.
    © BCCL
The thing to learn here is that intention is not a product of outward show. You don’t need to wear your patriotism on your sleeve to prove its authenticity. It should be a choice, and that’s the mark of a democracy. The national anthem hails Indian diversity and that’s one of our biggest strengths. Actions speak louder than words and it’s not always necessary to prove your love by saying it aloud. A soldier’s life is by far the biggest example.
To all those insisting on making it mandatory to play the national anthem in a movie hall, why do you not insist on people not littering the roads, why do you not file RTIs when there’s a scam in the system. Why not dig deeper into what patriotism means rather than focusing on the frills?
Why not sing it before every meal, before every Parliament session, before every speech a politician delivers in a rally? Because the national anthem is not a flimsy accessory that can be tossed out just about anywhere to exhibit your patriotism. Let’s not make patriotism so shallow and throw it around like a hat that’s to be worn whenever you want to feel self-righteous. Let’s make it a sentiment that reflects in our everyday actions. And let cinema be what it is – a world of fiction that has the liberty to say what it wants.

What we learnt: Stripes are here to stay. Be it layering a striped t-shirt, jumper or a shirt under a jacket or pairing them with basic trousers, you will surely make a strong statement.
    © Instagram
What we learnt: Sneakers with suits? We know the trend has been repeated a million times but let’s face it, it is classy AF. Rami Malek in this blue Valentino suit and Kurt Geiger sneakers is giving us a major high.

What we learnt: Nothing replaces a classic black tuxedo. When heading out for a formal dinner (we understand keeping it formal can be a pain, but you have to look great) nothing can match up a black tuxedo. Rami Malek is pure perfection in this Dior suit.

What we learnt: The winters might evoke a sense of gloom but you can always brighten it up by layering some statement pieces. The feat of fighting the winters and looking great is achieved.

Ever since the Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association (COEA) imposed a ban on screening films starring Pakistani actors and artists, Bollywood has been divided into two schools of thoughts. While some believe that the ban is appropriate, another segment believes that banning the Pakistani artists isn’t a solution. Especially after the MNS threatened to oppose the screening of the movie, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and vandalise the multiplex screenings of the film, the situation hasn’t been too positive. Of late, even Twitter has been bashing the film.
    © Twitter
What started as a debate on the ban of Pakistani artists soon turned into a discussion against Karan Johar and his movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Karan Johar even released a video statement stating that he won’t work with Pakistani artists in future. He further explained that the shots with Fawad were taken when things were fine and they can’t be removed from the movie because they are important. As Karan is being constantly being questioned about his decision, here is one actor who has come forward in his support and his words do make sense. Actor Abhay Deol, at the MAMI Film Festival, said that if the government wants to enforce a ban, it should go the distance and not do their job half-heartedly.
    © Twitter
Pointing at the hypocrisy, he said “If you want to ban anything to do with Pakistan, then go the distance. Don’t just ban filmmakers. Why are you doing a half-hearted job? Ban the business dealings, the import and export because when you do half a job, no one will take you seriously. I don't take the government seriously because they are only banning us from collaborating with artistes. They are not banning businessmen from making business. So, if you really mean what you say, then go the distance. Then I will take you seriously. Right now, it is not looking like you mean it, it just looks like it gets you a lot of publicity and makes a lot of noise. But really what is the point of it? I will support it if you think banning anything to do with Pakistan is going to help our jawans, fine. But I don't see the whole distance. I see one little thing looked at and banned and another part being left. Sounds hypocritical to me!”
#WATCH: "If you want to ban anything to do with Pak,then go the distance. Don't just ban filmmakers", says Abhay Deol on #ADHM controversy pic.twitter.com/OiGMTRUwu8
    — ANI (@ANI_news) October 20, 2016 After he gave this statement, Twitter was surprisingly in praise of the actor.
    WOW!!
An actor raising his voice 4 his beliefs when he doesn't hv his movie at stake is rare..Proud of u Abhay Deol..RESPECT n love raised!!
    — Roopal? (@itzme_roopal) October 20, 2016 Abhay Deol - Someone who has always been intelligent & fearless, be it in his film choices or statements. ????
    — A Filmi Fanatic (@Chokra_Jawaan) October 20, 2016 More power to #AbhayDeol for saying it like it is ??? Very few in Bollywood have the courage to do that these days. https://t.co/l8pUrvJMlh
    — Amena (@Fashionopolis) October 20, 2016 Abhay Deol spoke out more clearly & logically in crisp sentences, than most politicians on the #ADHM ban. Says a lot about our lot.
    — Suryanarayan Ganesh (@gsurya) October 20, 2016 'Socha na tha', koi bollywood actor voice raise karega govt ke against. Abhay Deol said what needs to be said. #Respect
    — Tarique Anwer (@tanwer_m) October 20, 2016 Well, we aren’t supporting or opposing the ban, but whatever he said is true to some extent. Doing things half-heartedly won’t help anyone; it will only look like a hypocritical publicity stunt.

Currently a solo artist, Steven Wilson first became famous for being the founder, singer, songwriter and lead guitarist for the iconic band Porcupine Tree. A self-made musician, Wilson taught himself to produce music and audio engineer, as well as a bunch of other instruments including guitar and keyboard. Wilson has been nominated for Grammy Awards on four different occasions - twice with Porcupine Tree, once with his collaborative band, Storm Corrosion, and once as a solo artist.

Having been in the music scene for about thirty three years, the artist has made tons of music with several bands and as a soloist. As a solo artist, he has four studio albums, two live albums and three EPs under his name.

His first album ‘Insurgentes’ is said to have had the most experimental song-based music he had made. Released in 2008, the album has post-punk and shoegaze music influences. Soon after, he released a remix album for Insurgentes calling it ‘NSRGNTS RMXS’.

His second studio album ‘Grace for Drowning’, in 2011, earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Surround Sound Album. ‘The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories)’, released in 2013 is one of his most innovative and well received album. Each song in the album is based on a story on the supernatural.

‘Hand.Cannot.Erase.’ came out in the beginning of last year and is written from a female perspective. The album has been described as a work of art by a lot of critics and fans alike. His latest release is an EP called ‘4½’ and is a compilation of songs written during the sessions of his last two studio albums.

Hailed as the ‘King of Prog Rock’, Wilson has earned himself three Progressive Rock Awards for his exceptional work in the genre. The legendary artist is set to make his Weekender debut this year and will be performing at the Shillong (21st-23rd October) and Pune (2nd-4th December) editions of the festival.

Virender Sehwag has been in the news even after retiring, thanks to his funny twitter feed which keeps the conversation going on one issue or the other. The Indian opener just turned 38 and revealed why Sachin Tendulkar keeps referring to him as Lala in their online conversations such as this one.
He's the sweetest man who has caused so much destruction! Happy Birthday Lala! @virendersehwag pic.twitter.com/BfcT2oYbWn
    — sachin tendulkar (@sachin_rt) October 20, 2016 This is what the twitter maverick said replying to why Sachin calls him Lala:
    .@sachin_rt pic.twitter.com/yp0XCHINVB
    — Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) October 20, 2016 In the video Sehwag explains, "Thank you God ji! You guys must be thinking why he calls me Lala. One is because I look like a Lala, like a ‘baniya’. And the other because I can keep a good record of the number of fours, sixes, losses, wins and the times Sachin Tendulkar would have broken records. This is probably why he calls me Lala. This is my version. God ji will tell you his."
So now you know why Sehwag is Lala for Sachin and we already know why Sachin is Godji for him, don’t we?

After the whole ‘Pierce Brosnan endorsing Pan Bahar’ debacle that caused a huge uproar on the internet, much anger and so many memes later, Pierce Brosnan has come forth and given a statement in the People Magazine saying that he was misled by the brand and that his contract said that the product is in fact a Mouth Freshener and teeth whitener.
He said that he was “deeply shocked and saddened” and that he has the “greatest love and affection for India and its people”
    © Facebook
He explained further by saying this, “As a man who has spent decades championing women’s healthcare and environmental protection, I was distressed to learn of Pan Bahar’s unauthorized and deceptive use of my image to endorse their range of pan masala products.” “I would never have entered into an agreement to promote a product in India that is dangerous to one’s health.”
Brosnan who lost his wife as well as daughter to ovarian cancer explains further saying that “Having endured, in my own personal life, the loss of my first wife and daughter as well as numerous friends to cancer, I am fully committed to supporting women’s healthcare and research programs that improve human health and alleviate suffering.”
    © Facebook
He has demanded Pan Bahar to remove his image from all their products and has said that he was “grossly manipulated” and was made the Brand Ambassador of the entire range of products which was a violation of his contract.
In the end he said that “I shall endeavor to rectify this matter,” the statement concluded. “In the meantime, please accept my sincerest and heartfelt apologies to all whom I have offended.”
Not cool Pan Bahar, not cool!

After the much disastrous 'Mohenjo Daro' that released earlier this year, Hrithik Roshan is back with yet another film, ‘Kaabil’, That Hrithik and Yami Gautam will be paired opposite each other is the only thing we know about the film so far. The makers just released a 41 second long teaser that shows absolutely nothing. All we’ve got is a cryptic voiceover by Hrithik Roshan and some mysterious bokeh shots. Nobody really knows what it mean but it sure looks intriguing. Anybody wants to take a guess?

It’s that time of the year when the music festival season is upon us and we are here to help make your experience as smooth as possible. Here are some tips that will help you stay organized and reduce the chances of anything going wrong and messing up a good time!
    1. Check the Weather  © Coachella
The weather will play an important role in the overall environment of the festival. Be sure to check it before packing, if you’re going out of town for the festival or just before getting dressed, if you don’t have to travel that far. Nothing sucks more than unexpected rain to ruin your carefully put together outfit or your new shoes.
    2. Packing the essentials  © Bruised Passports
The stuff you pack along for the festival should be compact and consist of the things you will actually need in the outdoors. A power bank should be on the top of the list as you don’t want your phone to die before you see your favourite artist perform. Other essentials should be sunblock, a small water bottle, sunglasses, a light jacket if the weather demands it, a mini first aid bag and so on. Wearing comfortable clothes and shoes are not really a packing essential but necessary nonetheless.
    3. Researching the lineup © EVC
Music festivals are a great way of discovering new music and familiarising yourself beforehand with all the bands that are supposed to perform will definitely come in handy. That artist you have never heard of might just become your favourite musician in the future, so why leave out the opportunity to enjoy their performance when you have a chance. Moreover, nothing is more fun than knowing all the lyrics and singing along with the bands.
    4. Save up © NH7 Weekender
The price of food and drinks will probably be hiked up inside the festival and you don’t want to reach and discover that you’re out of money as soon as you’ve reached. Saving up and having a separate budget for spending will be extremely helpful. Also, ATM’s are your saving grace.
    5. Organize the schedule © Coachella
Music festivals are jam packed with various artists performing at the same time in different locations inside. The organizers release the lineup with proper timings before the festival so you can plan out your musical journey so as to not miss out on your favourite acts.
    6. Getting there © Pinterest
Don’t leave transportation to the last minute. Whether you’re taking public transportation or carpooling with friends, make sure to double check everything to avoid any last minute complications and leave a little early since the area around the venue will most probably be jammed.
    7. Pregame © NH7 Weekender
As mentioned above, food and drinks will be expensive inside the festival grounds so you should start getting in the festival mood on the way. This is especially important for people driving with their friends to the venue. Crank up the music and start getting your groove on while still on the way and by the time you guys get there, you’ll be ready to party hard.
    8. Buddy system / Meeting point © EDC
Music festivals tend to have poor mobile networks and it’s extremely easy to get lost. Always maintain a buddy system with all your friends. Try to stay together with your group and if not, hang around at least a couple of people you know. You shouldn’t have to spend the whole day looking for your friends and not being able to enjoy the festival. Your friends can also set up a meeting point, so that anyone who gets lost can head there to meet up with the gang.
    9. Explore the place © Coachella
As soon as you get there, make a mental note of all the different stages and their locations as you don’t want to be running around wasting time in-between performances finding the right stage.
    10. Locate the washrooms © NH7 Weekender
One of the most essential tips we can give you, always….always map out the washrooms. You don’t want to be stuck out side in a massive field with the urge to pee. It just sucks, trust us. Knowing the location beforehand is just a plus point.
And lastly, just enjoy yourself and take in the amazing tunes and experience everything that music festivals provide.

As soon as you board a flight, you are asked to either switch off your phone or turn on flight mode which means that for the entire duration of the trip, you are entirely cut off from your favourite world – social media. Well, it seems that Air India might come up with an alternate soon for you all, given that it’s in talks with BSNL to work out a feasible plan of installing Wi-Fi on board and has even asked the company to give an estimated cost of the same.
    © wikimedia
A few days ago, we reported that the Patna railway station, which offers free Wi-Fi service to the travelers, had topped the list in terms of internet searches and most of the data was used to watch porn! Seeing that there is more privacy in the flights (not by much though), it would definitely be interesting to see what kind of things people search for and if it’s what we are assuming it to be, let’s see if it can beat the train station’s record.
The onboard internet service may be available on Air India’s long-haul nonstops to North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Australia. Additionally, Air India is also in talks with a few international onboard internet providers.
    © pexels
A senior official from the airlines said, “We are keen to have the internet on board as AI operates the longest flights out of India and this is a facility that is being increasingly provided by several leading global airlines.” He further added, “However, we are first trying to find out how much the project costs, and if found feasible, we will like to have the same on our aircraft.” Reportedly, the Air India chief Ashwani Lohani recently met his counterpart from BSNL Anupam Srivastava to take things forward.
In fact, two years back, Air India had approached Geneva-based OnAir which provides both mobile connectivity and the internet on aircrafts. However, the airline was told that according to Indian rules, it needed a local server for them to broadcast the signal. So, while it’s still in its nascent stage, we really hope that these Wi-Fi services take off (no pun intended)!
Just in case you got excited thinking that your boring flights will now turn interesting, make sure that your headphones are correctly plugged in and you don’t have any agony aunt or middle-age crisis suffering uncle sitting next to you. After all, you don’t want them to hear the moaning and weird noises pop out of your tablet or mobile phone!
