Usually, we hear a lot of noise regarding why cricket is much more than a game for some and even though it is, it’s really difficult to pin point why exactly that is. But after watching this spirited and inspirational bit of sportsmanship you’ll never ask that question.
Take a look at Liam Thomas, member of the England Physical Disabilities team, who dived with full force while fielding against Pakistan in the final if the ICC Academy Invitational T20 tournament in Dubai on Sunday and lost his prosthetic leg doing so.
What’s more inspiring is that Thomas didn’t even care one bit after losing his artificial leg and instead decided to hop on one leg to complete the throw. “It just happened, really. I was sprinting for the ball, put my hand out, hit the deck hard and the next thing I know I stood up and had no leg," Thomas said after the match. "I didn't know whether to grab the leg or get the ball in. I decided to go for the ball.”
England eventually lost by three wickets but Thomas was happy that they fought hard and fought fair even though it was not enough on the day. "Having a disability, we all take the fun out of each other a little bit, we all have each other's backs, so we are all trying to give each other grief when something like that happens," he said.
With stories like these it isn’t easy to fathom how challenging the sport of cricket can be for some players and yet the love for the sport overhauls every obstacle that comes their way. Here’s to the fighting spirit of Liam Thomas because with players like him we know that the sport is in very good hands indeed!

There’s the whole, wide world and there’s Japan.
Japan – the country that’s got some crazy games like ‘masturbation karaoke’ and ‘boob shocker’.
Japan – the country where there’s an entire carnival celebrating penises.

Japan – also the country that’s giving lazy people some life goals with these crazy inventions.

And now, there’s Pikotaro telling the world why it needs Japan. Remember the bizarre Pineapple-Pen song that hypnotized the whole damn internet some weeks ago?
Well, it has now made its way to the Guinness Book of World Records for being the first Japanese song to enter the US Billboard Top 100 singles in the last 26 years. It’s got 65 million YouTube views and over 40,000 parodies and copies all over the internet.
    Talk about virality!

When it comes to your closet cull, no matter how decisive you are, there are a few pieces which are too important to be dismissed, a hoodie being one of them.  Be it winter morning jogging routines or those urgent night outs that you need after a long day at work, a hoodie is simply irreplaceable.  From being a just another obvious off-duty outfit, hoodies are now a runway staple and have acquired a special mention in the Gen-Z fashion vocabulary.  From Varun Dhawan to Ranbir Kapoor, Bollywood elites have also given this basic piece of clothing more than just a nod.
Hoodies are a winter essential and helps you maintain a balancing act between style and functionality. Hence, here are a few hoodies that will help you keep the chill at bay, this winter.

That we, as Indians, are ridiculously insensitive humans when it comes to preserving the environment we live in, is no new fact. But this Diwali, we kinda broke our own records. We’re looking at you Delhi.
This is what #Delhi's Vijay Chowk looked like this morning...#Diwali #Smog pic.twitter.com/od4blfdgeG
    — Times of India (@timesofindia) October 31, 2016 That’s what the city looked like this morning. Let’s not even get down to the streets. People commuting to work early this morning complained of ‘zero visibility’ in the air, and of course, the respiratory diseases that come with it. But of course, none of that matters because what’s Diwali without noise and pollution, right?
#Diwali effect. Zero visibility at Mayur Vihar phase 1 pic.twitter.com/9UlzRtm6Dj
    — Ashutosh Sapru (@SapruAshutosh) October 31, 2016 No, it’s not the winter fog. It’s your lack of responsibility staring right at you.
Zero visibility at Sarai Kale Khan #Delhi #smog pic.twitter.com/jP9gWOSur0
    — Tarun Kumar (@TK_Scribbler) October 31, 2016 The air quality measured by the Central Pollution Control Board show some apocalyptic figures, according to a report by Indian Express. PM2.5 readings that have a safe limit of 60 micrograms per cubic meter went up to an alarming 900 in some areas of Delhi. PM10 readings (with a safe limit of 100) stood at almost 1000. That’s 10 times more adverse than what’s safe.
Why aren’t we banning crackers in India already, again?
    Also, this.

It’s not often that the kick-off show features one of the most exciting matches of a pay-per-view. We got to see Sin Cara, Lince Dorado, and Cedric Alexander take on Drew Gulak, Tony Nese, and Ariya Daivari in a 6-man tag team match. The action was fast paced and Cedric Alexander picked up a win for his team with the LumbarCheck on Drew Gulak.
    Just look at that hangtime:
There's a LOT of flight being taken in this #Cruiserweight #6ManTag...
    See @CedricAlexander. #HIAC pic.twitter.com/KonAho2khM

The next match we got was Roman Reigns vs. Rusev inside Hell in a Cell. This was more of an all out brawl than a wrestling match. The action was slow and it looked like neither competitor was interested in being there. Roman Reigns picked up the win with a spear. The entrances were the most entertaining part of this match.
Bayley vs. Dana Brooke was just as boring as you may imagine. It looks like Bayley has peaked in just a few months after joining RAW. They need to do something interesting with her character arc or she just might end up back in the shadows soon.
The Club (Gallows and Anderson) vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass was a solid tag-team bout with Enzo once again being pinned after the Magic Killer. Perhaps, it’s time Bigg Cass dropped his partner?
    What a VICTORY for @LukeGallowsWWE & @KarlAndersonWWE LIVE on @WWENetwork! #HIAC pic.twitter.com/Mej6DBbi7y
    — WWE Network (@WWENetwork) October 31, 2016
Next up, two standout superstars from the RAW roster, Seth Rollins and WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens. Their Hell in a Cell match made up for the poor performances earlier in the night and even Chris Jericho got involved to help Kevin Owens pick up the win. Not Undertaker vs. Mick Foley epic but clearly the match of the night.
Highlight of the match? Powerbomb through two tables. Woah:

Brian Kendrick picked up a victory against TJ Perkins, to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion, in an entertaining cruiserweight match. Kendrick proved, once again, that he was the best mat wrestler in the division and hopefully, will move on to greater things.
Cesaro and Sheamus picked up a victory against the New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) via disqualification when Kofi Kingston interfered in the match by hitting a Trouble in Paradise on Sheamus. The constant bickering between the two heavyweights works and if they continue selling it so well they will certainly have tag-team gold coming their way in the near future.
Just look at both of them:
    #TheNewDay? STILL your #RAW #TagTeamChampions, and @WWECesaro & @WWESheamus can't believe it... #HIAC pic.twitter.com/UThb8OJTrF

The main event featured Sasha Banks defending her Woman’s Championship against Charlotte in Hell in a Cell. If you’re wondering why WWE thought of closing the pay-per-view with a woman’s match, a couple of minutes in and you wouldn’t have any doubts. The action was intense and the crowd was enjoying every second of it. Charlotte picked up the victory with Natural Selection after one of the most brutal women’s matches we’ve ever seen. Both superstars have bright futures indeed.
Powerbomb through the announce table anyone?

    4) Bedfellows (2 minutes) Woken up by a phone call in the middle of the night, a woman thinks that she sleeping next to her husband. But it’s her husband who’s calling!
    3) I Heard It Too (8 minutes) What do you do when someone kills your mommy and you are just too young to do anything? This is that movie.

India’s premier comedy-rock band comprises of actor and comedian Vir Das along with Sid Coutto, Johan Pais and Kaizad Gherda. The music this band creates can only be described as insane. The original music combined with the humorous lyrics have become a hit with people.
The witty performer has roped in a bunch of talented musicians to make one of a kind music, rich with pop culture references. The hilarious songs are completely unique yet still extremely relatable. From songs about Maggi to manboobs to Game of Thrones, they can pretty much write a funny song on just about any topic.
The interactive live performances the band puts up are really popular and thus they have had a long list of sold out performances all over the country. Their debut album ‘BOM in LIVE BAY’ came out last year with the band releasing one song and its video every month for twelve months.
The videos don’t do them justice and seeing the band live is a whole different experience. You can catch them live at the Bacardi Nh7 Weekender on 21st and 22nd October in Shillong and 5th and 6th November in Hyderabad.

The multi crore call centre fraud in Thane has been in the news for quite a while. The master mind behind the scam, Sagar Thakkar aka Shaggy has been minting money thanks to the entire scheme. One particular asset that was seized by the police was an Audi R8 that he had apparently gifted to his girlfriend.
    © Twitter
According to the latest reports, it turns out that the Audi was purchased from Virat Kohli. "We have seized the Audi R8 vehicle, worth Rs 3 crore, that Thakkar had purchased from the proceeds of his ill gotten wealth. On enquiries, we found that he had purchased the vehicle from cricketer Virat Kohli,” DCP Parag Manere told the media. He brushed away any rumours that may link Kohli to the scam , explaining that he had no idea about Shaggy’s whereabouts.

It promises to be an Indian space mission which will rocket instantly into global history books. If all goes well, on January 15, 2017, Isro will launch 82 foreign satellites in a daring single shot, Subbiah Arunan, the project director of Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), has said.Arunan, who was in Mumbai to attend the Brand India Summit 2016, said on Thursday that of the 82 satellites, 60 belong to the US, 20 are from Europe and two are UK-made.
    © ISRO
The record for launching the highest numbers of satellites in one go is currently held by Russia, which launched 37 satellites on June 19, 2014. The US had placed 29 satellites in orbit using the Orbital Sciences-built Minotaur-1 rocket on November 19, 2013. On June 22, 2016, India launched 20 satellites in one go. If the mission in January succeeds, India will once again break a global space record — for the second time in about two-and-a-half years. On September 24, 2014, in a record-breaking feat, India entered the Martian orbit in the very first attempt, garnering international acclaim.
    © Twitter
The rocket for Isro's historic mission will be the advanced version of the proven four-stage Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) designated PSLV-XL. All 82 satellites will be placed in a 580-km polar sun synchronous orbit in a span of 20-25 minutes after launch. Arunan told TOI that MOM was the first Indian satellite which is being analysed by international space agencies and management schools to pave the way for low-cost access to deep space. He added that the second mission to Mars — MOM-2 — is provisionally slated for launch in 2020.
    © ISRO
"We plan to use the aero braking method to approach Mars and go close to the surface," Arunan said, pointing out that it will not be a landing mission. "We have, so far, received nearly 40 proposals for carrying out Mars-related science experiments and the response is very encouraging," he said. Arunan also said that the second lunar mission, Chandrayaan-2, will land on the moon by December 2018. "The ground tests have already started," he said.

Cyber Hub is brimming with options when it comes to food and drinks. Almost every month, there’s something new opening up around the bend. One such newly opened place is People & Co, located just at the side of Cyber Hub Social. You know, just opposite the amphitheater? It’s this huge bustling space that combines fun, laughter and relaxation under one expansive roof. So, your hunger pangs are well taken care of (and how?); so is your dose of witty humour, as well as your share of music, dance and reverie. From fine-dining experiences that don’t burn a hole in your pocket to a laughter marathon, or a dance off to beat the blues—People & Co really does have options for you to choose from. You’re literally never getting bored even if your date ends up boring!
    © The People & Co
What I enjoyed most about the place was that each of these elements is segregated so that there isn’t an overlap of events, or a commotion of incessant noise.
Here’s what sets People & Co apart from most of the run-off-the-mill places that are so done to death.
    It gives you options.
People & Co is divided into three separate spaces.
Canvas hosts the Canvas Laugh Club which is a space for light-hearted performances like stand-up comedy, musicals concerts, fashion shows and theatre. It is currently the only club in Delhi NCR dedicated to the comedy genre with purpose built acoustics to enhance the experience of watching live stand-up comedy.
Plate is the chic fine-dine restaurant with a refreshingly young air to it. It’s not your typical high-maintenance dining option which serves subpar food at exorbitant prices. Au contraire, Plate is the perfect balance of food, drink, design and pricing. The décor is cozy and interactive—with doodles on the entry door and shelves that hold books you can actually browse through. The walls are just as informative, giving you dope on the chef of the place.
    © The People & Co
Public, as the name suggests is the more open space and bar to chill, hang around with a glass of your favourite drink or People & Co’s signature cocktails, enjoy good music and maybe shake a leg, even. It opens up in the promenade, which is accessible to anyone and everyone. An all-day wine and coffee bar, the stage is open to an impromptu jazz set with both mature and amateur musicians. And the fact that walking past the place is bound to generate curiosity about People & Co, works like magic.
    © The People & Co
When it comes to food, it exceeds your expectations; not just in its presentation, but in taste and texture as well. It’s easy on the pocket and smooth on your palate. Before you know it, you’re already diving for a second-helping. Get this: So good was the food that I forgot to click pretty-looking pictures for my Instagram handle! It really doesn’t get any better.
Here’s what I tried and you should too!
    For Drinks
Pirated Cane – A mocktail which is basically, People & Co’s version of a sugarcane juice and it’s something else, to say the least, because I don’t even like sugar cane juice!
12 O’ Clock – A cocktail made with coriander liqueur, orange chunks and lime juice; a signature drink.
    © The People & Co
    For Starters
Bheja Nu Farcha with Mint and Pomegranate Tabboulah – Basically a non-vegetarian preparation of mutton brain to get you started off.
    © The People & Co
    For Pizza
Pizza Tuscana – A paper thin Pizza preparation that is not typically circular but, uniquely rectangular made with fresh homemade pilati pomodoro sauce, apple-wood smoked chicken, a mix of young and red cheddar, caramelized onions, sundried tomato pesto tossed arugula leaves.
    © The People & Co
They had me at “sun-dried tomatoes”!
    For Entrees
Chimichuri - stuffed Himalayan Trout, butter-poached baby potatoes and salad nicoise.
    © The People & Co
When I entered the place, I had eaten something about an hour ago and so, wasn’t really all that hungry; also, a long and tiring day at work had gotten to me to the point where I decided to put a time constraint on myself.  All of that no longer mattered at The People & Co. In Prabhudheva’s ‘Action Jackson’ – an absolute nightmare of a film – Sonakshi Sinha played a character who believed the ***** of Ajay Devgn’s character was ‘lucky’ for her.
In ‘Shivaay’, Devgn’s latest in a recent spate of horrid movies, his character gets asked by a Bulgarian tourist how similar he is to Lord Shiva. Devgn, the eponymous Shivaay, goes on to show tattoos adorning his body, which signify different aspects of the deity. The girl, unsatisfied with the responses, asks him if there’s any other Shiva feature he possesses. His reply remains inaudible, because the dialogue is censored. Given the scene that follows, my guess is he said “lingam”.
    © Ajay Devgn FFilms
It’s amazing that Devgn feels the need to resort to ***** jokes in his films as he pushes 50, especially because the actor had some credible films to his name till a few years ago. Sometime around the beginning of the decade, though, Devgn tasted box office success with senseless Rohit Shetty comedies, and now he feels obliged to replicate that in films like ‘Himmatwala’, ‘Son of Sardar’ and ‘Action Jackson’, all of which withered away at the box office after big opening weekends.
With ‘Shivaay’, the actor also dons the director’s hat – the second time he does so after ‘U Me Aur Hum’, a lazy adaptation of ‘The Notebook’, but which at least had a story to tell. ‘Shivaay' has nothing more than a dollop of misogyny and awful stereotypes to offer, all of which Devgn turns into a multi-crore “festival” release and throws at audiences with brute force.
    © Ajay Devgn FFilms
Take, for instance, the most integral element of the story – the fact that Devgn plays dad to a girl born to the Bulgarian tourist. About 40 excruciating minutes into the film, Olga (Erika Kaar) is about to return to her native land after a brief affair with mountaineer Shivaay. Along the way, she finds out she’s pregnant. Cut to: Devgn angrily drives back to his house with Olga, demanding she go inside. When she refuses, Shivaay yells at her, and then makes a plea for her to stay back till the birth of her child. Olga pleads with Shivaay to not force her to keep the baby, and to let her return home – “stop this emotional blackmail”, she says – both he refuses to relent.
Pro-choice? What’s that? Kidnapping and forced pregnancy? Hell yeah.
Apart from the awful precedent he sets with this aspect of the story, Devgn the director never shies from propping Devgn the actor as some sort of a “superhero”, the kind who jumps from mountain peaks and beats Bulgarian thugs, who kidnap his daughter, to pulp. He often speaks of himself in third person, as if he suffers from some sort of split personality disorder. You would only be willing to suspend disbelief to the point where a group of girls look at Devgn strut away and exclaim, “He’s so hot and sexy!”
These are all tropes more and more Hindi filmmakers spit out of their systems every year, but Devgn reintroduces every forced cliché into his film, the only USP of which was the “never-seen-before” action it promised in its trailer. The action and Aseem Bajaj’s eye-filling cinematography hold your attention in only a couple of scenes in the pre-interval portion. After intermission, the film plunges faster than Shivaay’s headlong dive down the Himalayan mountains.
    © Ajay Devgn FFilms
In this portion, a fine actor like Girish Karnad gets some of the cheesiest lines you’ll see in a Hindi film (written by Sandeep Shrivastava and Robin Bhatt). A wheel-chair bound patriarch, Karnad struggles to get on his feet at one point, slumping back into his chair after an attempt. When asked by his daughter why he did so, he replies, “Kisi ko toh khada hona padhega (Someone has to stand up)”. In another scene, his daughter informs him that she’s travelling somewhere, and the old man nonchalantly replies, “Sahi raaste pe ho (You’re on the right track)”. Saayesha Saigal plays Karnad's daughter in a role as thankless as that of Kaar’s – every character plays second-fiddle to Devgn, after all.
Taking the ‘Shiva The Destroyer’ adage a bit too seriously, Ajay Devgn destroys several things in ‘Shivaay’: Brain cells. Time. Sanity. Equilibrium. And a general love for the movies.
One of the worst films of the year (almost as bad as ‘Mastizaade’; both films, ironically, have Vir Das in them), watching ‘Shivaay’ during Diwali (or at any other point in life) is akin to getting lung infection by willingly inhaling smoke from firecrackers.
The latter, come to think of it, would be better.

MensXP presents to you its new video production this Diwali and it’s going to make you miss your best friend. ‘Some Things Never Change’ is about Harsh and Abhimanyu, two best friends who don’t talk anymore. It’s about how Diwali, the festival of happiness brings them together!

Friend are the families we choose. This Diwali, let’s forgive and forget. It only takes a small gesture, after all.

Diwali is around the corner and everyone, be it a commoner or a celebrity, is busy making plans on how to celebrate it. We bet some of you must be planning to pay a surprise visit home or crashing at your friend’s place, but nothing can beat this heart-warming surprise the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan gave to his special fans.
As a part of an initiative for a foundation, Shah Rukh met these brave acid attack survivors and spent some quality time with them. Not only this, he even wrote a cute message about his meeting.
With my beautiful friends Reshma, Mamta, Sapna & Basanti. Thanks for coming over @makeluvnotscars pic.twitter.com/D2vktZ5wVQ

Hailing from Ahmedabad, aswekeepsearching was formed in 2013 and comprises of vocalist/guitarist Upidan Sarmah, guitarist/keyboardist Shubham Gurung, bassist Bob Alex, and drummer Gautam Deb. The four piece post-rock/experimental band is only one EP and one album old but they have already established themselves through their unique sound.
    © Facebook/aswekeepsearching
The band released their first music in the form of an EP called ‘Growing Suspicions’ in the beginning of 2014. The ambient music combined with Hindi lyrics are a stand out and perfectly complement each other in aswekeepsearching’s music. Along with six songs, the EP also has remixes of two of those songs. Their song ‘The Tattva’ was very well received and is actually a treat for the ears.

Aswekeepsearching released their debut album ‘Khwaab’ about a year ago with eleven new songs. Again, the blend of rock music with Hindi/Urdu lyrics was highly appreciated and the result is magical, almost poetic. The band toured Russia promoting the album.

Aswekeepsearching will be tantalizing the audience with their magical and goosebumps inducing music at the Hyderabad (5th and 6th November) and Pune (2nd - 4th December) editions of Bacardi Nh7 Weekender in the coming months.

India is finally set to get its first craft beer, White Rhino, all thanks to Himalayan Ales Private Limited. Craft Beer is basically beer produced in small batches to ensure freshness and variety and White Rhino aims to do just that. The first two variants of White Rhino to be introduced are Munich-style Lager and Belgian Wheat Beer, but other beer styles are also on their way.
    © White Rhino Brewery
White Rhino’s Wheat Beer is inherently designed to be complex and refreshing by being brewed in a classic Belgian tradition. What makes it different is its low bitterness, aromatic spice blends, distinctive yeast strain, and the unique authentic Curacao orange peel from Europe along with the finest Indian coriander.

The brand will be launched in the most exclusive places in Gurgaon first and will soon be followed by the introduction of it in Delhi, Goa and Chandigarh over the next few months and in Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru during the course of 2017.  This premium beer will be available on tap as well as in bottles. Even though some cities have to wait a little more for White Rhino, by the looks of it, it will be well worth the wait.

Okay, first things first, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has got its share of flaws but it’s as Karan Johar as it can get. And this was LONG overdue – a KJo film that you can watch over and over again. Of course, there’s going to be a lot of hate on the internet owing to the fact the film is so glossy, it’s unreal but well, that’s Karan Johar’s brand of cinema that he is very much entitled to own. That is also one big reason why a lot of people love his ‘larger than life’ films – they’re such a dreamy escape from the real world.
In all honesty, the film is shaky, inconsistent, even uninnovative in the second half but there are still plenty of reasons why you need to watch it right away!
    1. The Bollywood Madness © DharmaProductions
Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor play every diehard Bollywood fan ever in the film. They do things you’ve ALWAYS wanted to. They get the whole damn nightclub in London addicted to a Bollywood break up song, drop heavy duty Bollywood dialogues to make every situation dramatic, take off on a spontaneous holiday to Paris, sing and dance to Mohammed Rafi songs at bars and wait for it…dress up like Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor and dance to a ‘Chandni’ song on a mountain top. ADHM is basically a wet dream for every Bollywood fanatic.
    2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Unbearable Hotness © DharmaProductions
This woman breathes and people die. No exaggeration, Aishwarya has never looked hotter. She’s SO stunning, I bet you’d lose track of what’s happening to the plotline. Aishwarya invites Ranbir Kapoor to a nightclub in a sequence in the second half and what follows is going to make you feel way too many things. But damn, they cut the love-making scenes. She overdoes the Urdu bit, and her character lacks depth but she more than makes up for it with her charm. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, you need to know it’s illegal to be that hot.
    3. The Hilarious First Half © DharmaProductions
The first one and a half hour of the film is a laugh riot. It’s all the entertainment you need in life, no kidding. It starts with the love-making sequence between Ranbir and Anushka and only escalates from thereon. Lisa Haydon and Anushka Sharma get the funniest scenes in the script and make sure you’re rolling on the floor laughing at the end of it.
    4. Anushka Sharma  © DharmaProductions
She’s the highlight of the film. And saying that for a film that’s got Ranbir Kapoor in it, is saying a LOT! Her comic timing is on point and she’s even better with the emotional scenes. It’s easily one of her finest performances so far. At times, the script doesn’t do justice to her character, making her look like a selfish woman but Anushka Sharma makes it impossible for you to hate her. With Ranbir Kapoor doing exactly what he does in every film in the second half of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (which obviously includes running through the streets, crying and just staring into the distance), Anushka Sharma carries the film on her shoulders alone. With every passing film, we’re falling in love with her a little more!
    5. Major Friendship Goals © DharmaProductions
Whether you like the film or hate it, one thing’s for sure, you’re going to walk out of the theatre wanting a friendship like Anushka and Ranbir’s. They’re so natural and relatable as best friends, it’ll give you some major friendship goals. ‘ADHM’, however flawed it may be, redefines modern friendships in more ways than one.
    6. The Intent Of The Film © DharmaProductions
How many times have you felt misled by a girl friend? How many times have you called a girl names because she friendzoned you? ‘ADHM’ is like every Karan Johar film ever. The one thing that’s different is the one thing that makes all the difference. ‘ADHM’ is for every friendzoned guy out there who needs to understand that sometimes, friendships do not translate into love and that doesn’t make the relationship any less beautiful. With a hundred films that justify stalker behaviour as a means to get the girl, ‘ADHM’ brings in a fresh and much needed perspective on love and friendships.
‘ADHM’ is not the best film out there. But it’s still got a lot of things going for it. So, go watch it, for the love of Bollwyood. You won’t be disappointed.

One of India’s most in-demand DJs, Arjun Vagale has had a really long and successful career and he is still going strong. He is one of the few music producers in the country that has received huge global success. Being infatuated with music almost all his life, he started writing songs and playing gigs and small private events at the age of 15 only.
    © Facebook
The electronic music producer is known for his intense, driven and atmospheric music and even after being in the industry over twenty years, he has still stayed true to his roots. The fluid nature of electronic music is what got him interested in it initially and he wanted to play music instead of performing it.
    © Facebook
Known as one of country’s leading DJs and making waves in the international music scene, he has played at clubs and festivals all around the world, performing alongside reputed artists like Fatboy Slim, Fergie, Nic Fanciulli, Cari Lekebusch, Apparat and Sasha.

A few years ago, he took the risk of straying from his established career and moved on to make darker, more intense and more experimental music. The risk turned out to be worthwhile as his song ‘Kill the String’ started off his solo production career.

Other than making music, Vagale also runs MakTub Music, a global record label dedicated to discovering and promoting fresh talent. He also promotes local artists with his Indian electronic music school, The ‘I Love Music Academy’, and is the co-owner of UnMute Agency, which manages the bestS underground talent in India.

Even after making music for years, his dedication towards the electronic music genre is easily reflected by his music and thus it is fitting that he is currently at the top of the DJ Mag India Poll and has received numerous awards for his DJ production skills.

Arjun Vagale can be seen live at the Bacardi Nh7 Weekender in Hyderabad on 5th and 6th November 2016.
