The ketogenic diet is probably the most famous fat loss diet program across the globe.  It’s not just known for its fat loss benefits but it also aids in treating numerous medical issues like epilepsy, diabetes, obesity and Alzheimer. All what you need give up is the carbohydrates such as bread, rice, potato, chapati, sugars, and all the junk food, of course. To be precise, the diet comprises of the 75% healthy fats, 20% protein and 5% Carbohydrates (hidden carbs).  However, despite being the most popular and effective fat loss diet, a lot of people fail to drop body fat using the ketogenic diet. With this article, we shall be discussing the 4 common mistakes.
    1) Too Much Protein During a keto diet, our body switches its metabolism from glucose to ketones. Too much protein in the diet pulls you out of the ketosis   and the body again switches to the glucose as an energy source through the process called gluconeogenisis. Exceeding the protein ratio as per the keto diet plan would not let the body to use stored body fat as energy effectively. Therefore, always keep the protein as per the required ratio.

    2) Too Much Fat Well, no wonder the ketogenic diet is a super high fat diet but at the end of the day, the fat loss is determined by the calories in versus calories out. Excess of fat will also restrict the speed of fat loss in the keto diet program. However, the plus point is, excess of fat will still not spike the insulin level in your body as the carbohydrate/sugar does.  Therefore, always get your diet planned; by a certified nutritionist who could provide you with an accurate diet plan as per the required macro nutrient ratio.

    3) Don't Go Nuts For Nuts Nuts are allowed in the keto diet, but wait!  Are you among those who just love binging peanuts, cashews or almonds as a filler meal. If yes, then probably you are taking yourself out of the ketosis state.  50 grams of cashews or peanuts simply gives you around 10gram of carbohydrates, and incase, you are eating around 100 grams or above, the chances of exceeding the carbs ratio hikes, by just binging those crunchy nuts. Remember, you stay in the ketosis effectively only when you maintain the carbs intake less than 30 grams per day.

    4) Lack Of patience Lot of the people follow the keto diet just for a week or 10 days and unfortunately, quit!  Just because they are not losing any pounds and not at all feel as energetic as a person on the ketosis state feels. Well, one needs to understand the fact that we have been on carbohydrates since we came to this planet. On the other hand, when we are trying to switch our metabolism, which has been glucose adapted since so many years, it takes at least 6-8 weeks (depending upon metabolism) to switch from glucose to ketones. One has to be patient and stay persistent with their diet to witness the coveted results.

I come from a religious background—Christian family, believer of Jesus Christ and have the utmost respect for spirituality and different faiths. You can, in a way, say that I am a devout Christian. I am devoted to the belief and the faith. Yes, there are people out there who do not respect other faiths and those who won’t think twice before taking a dig at other religious communities; that I am not devoted to. But, I am also not devoted to being intolerant and creating a religious current out of everything and nothing.
In case you’re wondering what I’m going on about, here’s a recap of the recent spat between Goregaon Social and two Christian institutions—The Watchdog Foundation and the Archdiocese of Bombay.
    © Social Offline
The Watchdog Foundation—a devout Christian religious group—filed an FIR against Goregaon Social, a part of the Social Offline franchise of Riyaaz Amlani’s Impresario Group, for having showcased a range of religious figures doused in satire; for instance, an image of Jesus Christ holding a leather bag and Moses holding a tablet PC. They labeled these images “blasphemous” and criticised the description of the photo album on Goregaon Social’s Facebook Page—The Cathedral of Anti-Consumerism.  The Archdiocese of Bombay soon joined hands and updated their Facebook page, demanding that Goregaon Social’s license be revoked until all images were taken down.

Riyaaz Amlani, CEO, Social Offline, issued an apology to the institutions, assuring that the images had been removed. He explained that the imagery had never been in bad taste; but was just “a satirical statement against the ever growing trend of overt consumerism”. The Archdiocese responded with an acceptance of the apology and reminded Amlani that the institution shall continue to monitor the situation further.

    Here’s my problem:
Why was an apology required? I’ve known maestros interpret religion and religious figures through the ages, in different ways. All Amlani’s Goregaon Social did was interpret the same in a modern age, to depict an issue. And come to think of it, how is religion today not a part of the ‘overt consumerism’ Amlani tried to portray, anyway? Isn’t Religion one of the largest selling points that governments are using? Isn’t religion the largest selling point that institutes are using to provide privileges or reservations? Aren’t people taking advantage of said religious “perks”? Aren’t your “institutes” openly converting people to your faith for lesser? How is that not mockery? How is that not “blasphemous”?
When did freedom of speech and expression, through forms of art, opinion and interpretation become an act against religion?
    Dear Watchdog Foundation/Archdiocese of Bombay,
Is your religion, your faith so weak and rigid that you cannot allow this expression, or are you forgetting various important tenets of the very Bible you preach from? And no, this isn’t a question from the “masses”, I’m glad. Then, you would position yourself as the victim, the target of a religiously prejudiced nation prying on an outnumbered community. This is a question from a fellow Christian who believes in her faith and her spiritual orientation to be stronger than your structure, institution and rigidity.
    © Goregaon Social
What Riyaaz Amlani did only proves one thing—faith is not about glorifying one individual, or institution. It is about rising above religious differences and proving that humility is a far bigger virtue than your doctrine; and that trivialities like yours need to be smothered. I for one, seem intellectually intrigued by the concept of Jesus Christ carrying a leather bag because it begs to question what our faith would amount to had he been born in the modern times. Maybe, you as a religious institution need to broaden your own minds and accept that creative differences stem in every sect and culture. That’s what Jesus Christ stood for—the unity in the diversity; the differences among the commons and the flaws in the structures. He never differentiated between a leper and an alleged prostitute. He never condemned.
We live in a secular and tolerant country. And if you cannot be tolerant of such trivial creative interpretation, you really shouldn’t expect an institution, or even a government of a largely different faith to be tolerant of you. Simple. Don’t do unto others what you don’t want done unto you—basic tenets of Christianity. Don’t manipulate the ‘Gospel of the Lord’ to suit your personal egos. That’s “blasphemous”, too!

Prateek Kuhad, a Delhi based singer-songwriter, is in the front of the indie folk pop scene in India at the moment. The lyrical genius is known for his minimalistic folksy music and his melodious voice and has amazing tracks in both English and Hindi. Even though he studied maths in college, music and songwriting have always been his calling and his music completely reflects his passion.
    © Rohit Lal
Even though he officially has one EP and one album, he still has a number of singles under his name.

His EP ‘Raat Raazi’ was released in 2013, comprising of five songs. With all the lyrics in Hindi, the soft music is quite chilling. The upbeat songs are infectious and amazing to listen to.

Next was his album ‘In Token And Charms’ that again had a variety of beautiful songs. All the lyrics in the album were in English this time and the difference is apparent in the music but all the songs still have his unmistakable touch.

Kuhad is one of the biggest upcoming artists in the music scene and the way his music is going, he is here to stay. He has established himself and has played at a bunch of venues, both international and in the country, garnering a huge loyal following.

He will next be seen enticing the audience with his beautiful music at Bacardi Nh7 Weekender in Hyderabad on 5th and 6th November.

Since forever now, it’s been more of an accepted cliché that men really don’t give a damn about the way they look. The scruff heads who sit in their pyjamas all day long prefer to eat popcorn and scratch their unkempt beards over a shower and a pair of real pants for adults. And then came this survey that turned that whole psychology on its head!
Philips India conducted its Annual StyleScape survey recently where they interviewed 300 males and 250 females in the age group 20-30 years in key metros. The results had some rather interesting details to reveal when it came to men and their ever-evolving grooming habits. Here’s all we found out about the men we know!
    1. Men Care About Their Skin, Too © Thinkstock
About 79% Indian metropolitan men care about their skin as of today. It’s not just the women. So basically, women won’t be the only one hogging the washroom mirror trying to get that drat of a pimple to pop!
    2. Men Love Salons, Too © Thinkstock
In fact, according to the Philips survey, 73% women have actually spotted men sitting on the chairs next to them at their friendly neighbourhood salon, with a smug expression on their faces, getting themselves some tender love and care.
    3. Men Want Glowing Skin, Too © Thinkstock
Yes, I’m sitting glued to my chair right now trying to process this information. In their 5th installment of the Annual StyleScape Survey, Philips revealed that while 74% women make a note of the quality of a man’s skin, said men are reading in on these notes! An increasing 29% of men consider skincare to be an important part of their daily routine. 79% of the men have tried out different home remedies for glowing skin! Let that sink in.
    4. Men Love Facials, Too © Thinkstock
According to the survey, facial styling remains the most sought after grooming type for most Indian men. While 62% men choose shaving as their first priority, trimming comes a close second, which isn’t really all that surprising, if you observe closely; especially now that things like ‘No-Shave’ November and beards are a big style statement for men.
    5. Men Spend A Lot On Their Looks, Too © Thinkstock
61% Indian men admit that they visit the salon every month while 39% men visit more than once a month. And 21% Indian men spend over INR 1000 on salon services other than haircuts! And you thought women were bad? Think again.
    6. Men Love Women’s Products, Too © Thinkstock
Yes, you heard that right. And we’re talking straight men, here. In the survey conducted by Philips, most women admitted to having shared their cosmetic products with their partners at some point or the other. 41% of the women said they had shared skincare products like facial scrubs, cleanser brushes. And it goes both ways! 26% had shared grooming products like depilation creams! Tables are turning?
    7. Men Like To Be Complimented, Too © Thinkstock
Not in the same “You look so beautiful, hon” way. But more in the inputs’ sharing way! 73% men admitted that they look at getting inputs and advice from people or turned towards men’s magazines, mobile apps, men’s blogs and brand websites for answers. There’s more; 69% women have revealed that grooming is a serious topic of discussion with their partners! And you wondered why we write the things we write?

We can safely say that David Warner is one of the greatest opening batsmen playing right now in world cricket and it isn’t surprising that he is taking apart the South African bowling attack in the SA-Aus 2016 test series.
Virender Sehwag, who told Warner how he would be more successful in tests and not just T20s would be proud of how he is aping his shots. Take a look at this amazing six he hit against Dale Steyn in the first innings of the first test against SA.

If he can do this to Dale Steyn then the other bowlers in the SA squad need to be afraid of the form he’s currently in.

The 1996 cult classic ‘Trainspotting’ which turns heads even today is making a return with a sequel and the first trailer is out today. Danny Boyle returns to direct the sequel with the original cast and it seems like the problems have just gotten bigger. In the first trailer, Boyle explores the iconic “Choose Life” monologue again. However, the movie is updated to focus on modern subjects like social media and it does not shy away from covering topics like slut shaming, Revenge Porn and Social Media.
Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud explore innovative ways to enter the porno industry and that’s all we know about the plot as of now. The film’s expected release date for India is still unknown; however, it might hit the theatres early next year.
At least, everyone is still listening to “Born Slippy” by Underworld.

“What’s the best rep range for building muscle?” this is a question which has caused limitless arguments and debates. You will hear people stating that training in lower rep range (5-8 reps) is great for building muscle and at the same time some will argue that training in higher end (10-20) is better for hypertrophy. To know what actually the best is, I would like you to chill and let SCIENCE do the talking.
    © Thinkstock
For muscular hypertrophy we need to cause micro-tears in our muscle fibers which when allowed to rest and supported with good nutrition, grows in size. Hence, it makes sense that the rep range which recruits maximum muscle fibers will be the most beneficial. Let’s look at the mechanism of the two rep ranges—low rep range and high rep range.
Low Reps With Heavy Loads  Greater the load on the bar greater the amount of muscle fibers will be required to move it.  Henneman's size principle states that neurological motor units (muscle fibers and the motor neuron that innervates them) are employed in an organized fashion dependent on the size of the motor unit (smallest to largest). Therefore, when you go under the bench for pressing 100Kgs you first utilize your fast twitch muscle fibers which primarily aid in explosive and high intensity activities and at the final reps, you recruit the slow twitch muscle fibers.
Mission accomplished, all muscle fibers have been fired up. Muscle growth is on its way.
High Reps With Lighter Loads When training with higher number of reps with lighter loads the primary muscle fibers that are recruited are the slow twitch muscle fibers which aids in endurance activities. Thus, an argument was made against high rep training that it fails to involve all the muscle fibers. But after certain limit of time when fatigue kicks in, it kicks out this argument. As you start to struggle with lighter loads on the final reps fatigue inevitably set in and leads to some interesting neurological changes. As you begin to struggle, your nervous system signals to capture more muscle fibers so that you can continue to lift weight and ultimately those fast twitch muscle fibers are also recruited. Researchers believe that this fatigue-related recruitment allows high rep & low load training to still utilize a lot of muscle fibers.
Mission control: all the muscle fibers have been recruited and demolished once again, muscle growth is on its way.
Do This! So far there’ve been plenty of studies (1. Burd, et 2. Mitchell, et) which demonstrate that low reps and high reps both induce similar muscle growth. However, lifting heavier loads will make you better at picking up heavy loads and lifting light loads with more reps will make you better at doing more reps. If sheer aesthetics is the goal it is best to include both in your training regime. Applying “Go heavy or go home” philosophy with some exercises like rows, pressing, shrugs, squats and dead lifts will be great for strength and size. It will also have valuable carryover in your life.
    © Thinkstock
For some exercises like lateral raises, leg extensions, skull crushers lifting heavy with low reps will inviting injuries. There you can train with light-moderate loads with high reps and cause hypertrophy. So, train with not what you are comfortable with but with the rep range that make you grow.

Two drone operators in Cupertino, California stalk Apple’s ‘spaceship’ campus every month and they happened to catch some progress surrounding the secret Apple headquarters.
Mathew Roberts, a documentary filmmaker, takes people on tours surrounding Apple’s campus and they happened to come across the solar panels that are being installed in the building. The solar panels are going to be one of the key sources of energy for Apple and according to him around 40% of installation is complete.  75 percent of the renewable energy will come from solar power which means almost every roof on that building will be covered with solar panels.
According to Roberts, construction on the new Apple HQ is on its way to being completed. This spaceship shaped building was Steve Job’s last gift to Apple and he made sure it embodied Apple’s culture of openness and collaboration.  Apple employees are expected to move into the mega-office by early next year.

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) made their biggest drug bust yet, seizing banned narcotic substances worth over Rs. 3,000 crore from a factory in Udaipur. In the raid that occurred on October 28 at the Marudhar Drinks factory, the DRI found a room filled with cartons of banned Mandrax tablets.
"The total number of tablets are estimated to be about 2 crore in numbers with a weight of about 23.5 metric tonnes. The international market value of seized tablets is estimated to be over Rs. 3,000 crore," CBEC chairperson Najib Shah said.
Bollywood producer Subhash Dudani, who has been linked to the drugs, was arrested.
    © Reuters
"We have arrested the mastermind and efforts are underway to nab others involved with the drug syndicate," he said.
The location of the drugs was traced to Udaipur by the DRI Mumbai team and the raid was done with assistance from Border Security Force(BSF).
Mandrax, the drug in question, is also called M-Pills, Buttons or Smarties and is usually consumed when mixed with cannabis. It is often used as a recreational drug in Africa and Asia.
"The consignment was manufactured in Rajasthan and consigned for Mozambique or South Africa," Shah further added.
Whether we’d like to admit it or not, India has a serious drug problem.

Movember (or No Shave November) is all about being lazy, growing out your beard and looking good while doing so. We speak to 30 men—from all walks of life—who have mastered the art of grooming a good mug-rug, and are now ready to spill all the beans. Read on:
    Name: Mohnish Panjabi
    Profession: Blogger
    © Thesnazzyman
Tell us about your beard timeline. How long have you been growing it?
The beard came about very randomly in 2013. It started with a forgotten shave and before you know it I was feeling the look so I let it grow, a.k.a, THE BEST DECISION EVER!
    Favourite beard products...
I love the Beardo Beard Wash, for its great conditioning properties and helps keep my beard nourished and (most importantly) itch free.
    © Thesnazzyman
Are women into beard? Does it help or hurt your chances of getting laid?
It all depends on the grooming schedule you follow. If your beard makes you look homeless, you’re going to be sleeping alone. (pun intended)
How do you maintain your beard. Tell us your routine?
I have that phase in the middle post a trim where the hair starts to take a random direction. This unfortunately is my pattern of growth, so I need to trim it twice-a-month in order to get rid of the baby hair and achieve a neat (translation: polished) look. Additionally, I use a beard wash on alternate days to keep it tidy and nourished.
    © Thesnazzyman
Tell us your beard dos and don'ts?
Do--While you are growing the beard, make sure to fight through the itch, be patient and let the growth take its natural course before you start to shave and shape it.
Don’t--Scratch your beard in public, it’s not cool!
    © Thesnazzyman
Has it changed your sense of style? Do you dress differently to fit your beard?
It has definitely changed the way my face looks, as for my style it adds an edge to a lot of formal suits & athleisure ensembles . Fact: Beard makes you look BADASS(!!)

One advice for boys with beard?
With great beard comes great responsibility —Keep it looking snazzy at all times and try new ways of styling your beard, as per the look you are sporting.

Mukhar Mai was sentenced to gang rape and public humiliation by a local council, back in 2002. But, instead of becoming a victim of her circumstances, Mai turned it into the cause she would fight against. She took her attackers to the Pakistan Supreme Court and never gave up her fight.
    © Tribune UK
“I want to be the voice of those women who face circumstances similar to what I did,” Mai had said in a statement to the Associated Press. “My message for my sisters is that we aren’t weak. We have a heart and a brain, we also think,” the 44-year-old added.

Cut to the present, and the world is noticing Mai walking the ramp—as confident and graceful as ever—for Pakistani designer Rozina Munib who explained in a statement that the reason for choosing Mai as the showstopper was “to spread the message that rape shouldn’t put a full-stop to someone’s life”.
Here’s an Instagram video of Mai’s ramp walk:

Saina Nehwal’s abrupt exit from the Rio Olympic Games was a shock to all of her fans because she was one of our best bets at the quadrennial event especially after a bronze in London. But the extent of that injury due to which she could not perform to her potential might have great repercussions on Indian Badminton.
In an interview recently to ESPN, Saina Nehwal opened up about the extent of her injury. “It is okay, many people will think my career will end and I won't come back. I also think somewhere deep in my heart that maybe it is the end of my career, so let's see how it is. Maybe, you never know,” she said.
Broken bone of my knee ?? pic.twitter.com/lSBCrVXcJL
    — Saina Nehwal (@NSaina) August 21, 2016 Nehwal suffered from anterior knee pain which required surgery to repair a right knee infrapatellar spur displaced fracture. “I just want to work hard, I just want to take care of my body and keep working on the areas that were weak and not think about winning or losing. I will be more than happy if people think I am finished, it is nice in a way, people think a lot about me, and maybe now they won't,” Nehwal said after she was asked about her chances to make a comeback.
Saina Nehwal’s form had been severely affected by her ongoing injury and that is why she is now considering an immature retirement from her career. “I am going to think about the next one year, it is year by year now, I am not going to set a target for the next 5-6 years now. My mind may change in the next one, two or three years, so for me it is just about how to take care of my body and be in good shape because these injuries are quite painful. Even if I win a tournament, the happiness is not so much because of the amount of pain the injury gives.”
    © BCCL
It is now up to her coaches and conditioning staff to see if she can continue for another 2-3 years and win consistently at the highest level. For now the future does seem bleak and if she decides to hang up her boots, it’ll to be a sad end to a good career with great expectations.

Members of Parliament just might be getting a whopping 100 percent salary hike. Their basic pay, which is currently 50,000 INR per month, might be raised to one lakh rupees a month. The PMO (Prime Minister’s Office ) is believed to be considering a recommendation to increase salaries of MPs proposed by the Joint Committee on Salaries and Allowances of Members of Parliament.
    © BCCL
TOI reported that along with the salaries, the allowances of MPs might also be revised. It is believed that the president and governor’s salaries might be revised too. Currently, the Indian president’s salary is Rs 1.5 lakh a month and the revised salary could go up to Rs 5 lakh a month, while the governor’s salary could be revised to Rs 2.5 lakh from Rs 1.10 lakh a month.
The committee, headed by BJP’s Yogi Adityanath, had suggested the hike sometime back and it had found support from the opposition too. NDTV had quoted Congress’ Ghulam Nabi Azad, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, saying, ‘I support my friend from the opposition, especially on the issue of conduct of MPs. Inflation affects everyone, MPs are also hit.’

A new patent has emerged that shows that Apple might be experimenting and have interest in a bendable or a folding iPhone. No, I am not talking about BENDgate fiasco but the company has actually filed for a patent that proves their interest in the design. According to Patently Apple, they have been interested in the new concept since 2013 however; they have been unsuccessful at implementing it on their phones till now.
    © USPTO
A Folding iPhone sure sounds like a great idea but it does not mean it will be successful. The patent explains in detail what kind of materials are going to be used in order to make the phone foldable. The casing of the phone is expected to be made out of metal, fibre or glass or even ceramic as they are looking at every option possible. This is what the patent has to say about using carbon nanotubes:
“Conductive carbon nanotube paths can form signal paths that are flexible and resistant to cracking. The carbon nanotube structures may be incorporated into signal cables such as flexible printed circuit cables, rigid printed circuit boards, printed circuits that include rigid portions with flexible tails (sometimes referred to as “rigid-flex”), portions of display structures, portions of touch sensors such as capacitive touch sensor arrays for displays or trackpads, camera structures, antenna structures, housing structures, internal device structures, electrical components, substrates, brackets, housing walls, other structures, or combinations of these structures.”
This is just a concept and it certainly doesn’t mean that Apple is going to release a bendable phone anytime soon. Although, if it does happen to be a feature on the iPhone 8, it would make a great mandate if they want to shake things up for their 10th anniversary.

Uppma was always interested in spreading her Indian culture and wanted everyone to reap the benefits of her roots, so the 26-year-old set up a ‘chai’ business and it eventually took her places.

In an interview, Virdi explained that it wasn’t easy, this transition of a lawyer turning into a ‘chai’ wali business woman. “My parents and family were totally against it. They asked why I wanted to be a tea seller. I said I wanted to show that tea sellers can do something. All the chaiwalas and chaiwalis in India are doing something entrepreneurial. Even if they are not well-educated, at least they have a business spirit”.

Guys, listen up! Your hairstyle (or the lack of it) can make or break your identity. With your busy schedules, we are sure you don’t get enough time to pay attention to your hair care routines, resulting into major loss of hair. Be it genetics, a clumsy lifestyle or deficiency of basic vitamins and minerals in your diet, there are a number of reasons for hair loss. But don’t fret, a few easy tricks and some minor changes in our lifestyle can give you thick hair. So, read on and take it all in.
    1. Eat Healthy © Pinterest
Make sure your diet consists of whole grains such as barley, oats and broken wheat to name a few. They are all rich in vitamin B, zinc and iron which are highly beneficial for hair follicles. Green leafy vegetables which are at times ignored such as spinach and broccoli are rich in folic acid, vitamin A and C, again highly beneficial to keep hair follicles healthy.  Make sure you eat right.
    2. Stop Smoking © Unsplash
If you smoke, think twice about your hair. The smoke adversely affects the blood flow to your hair follicles leading to the disruption of normal hair growth. This triggers thinning of hair and eventually hair loss. So guys stay away from the ciggs.
    3. Don’t Over-wash © Shutterstock
Washing your hair daily can harm them. Too much washing leads to getting rid of the scalp born nutrients that are highly beneficial for hair and make them stronger. Over washing can also make your scalp dry and your hair brittle.
    4. Natural Ingredients Is The Way To Go © Unsplash
We suggest do not solely depend on shampoos and hair conditioners. Experimenting with natural ingredients is the key. Easily available ingredients such as eggs which are protein powerhouses can stimulate hair growth. They are also rich in vitamins A, D and E which promote hair growth. Use a simple hair mask of egg yolk and olive oil and it’ll be a win-win situation for you. You can even use honey and onion juice to massage your scalp twice a week, after that rinse with a mild shampoo, you will see the results.
    5. Comb With Care © Pinterest
Don’t comb your hair when it’s wet, it will lead to hair breakage.  Excessive hair pulling makes hair fibre weak, and that’s not what you want. Whenever you comb, use it gently. Another option is to experiment with boar hair combs and laser combs, as they are a rage.

Over half of the country’s area is vulnerable to earthquakes with several cities at a high risk, as reported by a catastrophe risk management firm. The firm has also advised closing these gaps as quickly as possible to minimise the loss of property and life.
"More than half of India by area is vulnerable to earthquakes and almost forty cities are particularly at risk. The rapid expansion in population and development in India is moving too fast to ensure adequate standards of protection," Robert Muir-Wood, chief research officer of the firm RMS, said, according to a statement.
Muir-Wood also noted that the number of people exposed to flood risk is the highest in India as compared to any other country worldwide, and also has the fastest increase in flood risk from development and climate change.
According to him, other cities might face the similar outcome of devastating widespread damage as Nepal faced last year after a massive quake hit the Himalayan country.
In reference to the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, 2005 Mumbai floods and inundation in Chennai last year, Muir-Wood added, "...the protection gap in India must be closed."

'All I want to do is stare at him!', said an overtly flirty Neha Dhupia on her cheeky podcast. #NoFilterNeha as the name suggests that it is all about saying things you can't possibly hear on a regular (read: boring) prime time show. Her gem of an interview with Ranbir Kapoor is possibly the most candid the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' star has ever been (on record at least).
    Here's what we learnt:
    1. He has a small mouth and doesn't think his smile is any good. Apparently no one has EVER complimented on his smile. Apart from Neha Dhupia that is, who for the first 7-or-so minutes [into the podcast], only spoke about his beautiful smile.
    © Filmfare
    2. He went to acting school in New York and loved rehearsing scenes with 'hot chicks'.
    3. Ranbir quit 'Black' (where he was an Assistant Director), because Sanjay Leela Bansali got a little too crazy for him.
    © Pinterest
    4. He is not good at sexting, and considers it vulgar and needy. He doesn't like sending messages like, "What time can I come?"
    5. He is not (yet) a part of the Mile-high club!
    6. He had to give 18 re-takes to perfect his infamous towel-dropping scene in 'Saawariya'.
    © Hindustan Times
    7. He is absolutely obsessed with football and considers Messi as his idol.
    © Messifanclub
    8. His gigantic 120-inch Plasma TV is the only thing he'll never part with.
    9. He is scared of water, is petrified of pigeons and 'not-so-good with bees' either.
    © Wonderville
    10. He thinks (a lot of) journalists are worse than creepy crawlies.
    11. He finds being in bed all day and doing absolutely anything the most romantic thing ever!
    12. He has a private account on Instagram—named after the hindi version of Sherlock Holmes. He never posts but follows a lot of people who he finds interesting.
    13. He hates loud music (and can listen to everything as long as it in moderate volume).
    14. He believes he's the male version of Sonam Kapoor.
    © Instagram
    16. He considers his bronzer-gone-wrong moment at Arjun Khanna's runway show as the most awful moment in fashion.
    © RanbirKapoor
    15. In Neha's rapid fire rounds, Ranbir chose Katrina over Deepika, and Ayan Mukherjee over any other director—including Karan Johar and Imtiaz Ali.
