On one hand, where some people are fighting constantly against the violence and cruelty on animals, there are some people who derive sadistic pleasures in hurting these poor souls. We have all heard disgusting stories of people throwing dogs from the terrace, beating them with sticks and even bursting crackers in their mouths; but nothing is more bizarre or barbaric than this incident where a 22-year-old man killed and raped a female dog.
    © Twitter
Aslam Khan, a native of Delhi was arrested in Hyderabad by the Mailardevpally Police, for murdering the dog and raping her carcass. Aslam had come to Hyderabad to meet his friends. Reportedly, the poor dog was the pet of Md. Jahangir, a resident of Shastripuran area. In the morning, when he heard some weird and abnormal noises coming from the dog, he asked his sons to go see what’s wrong. Jahangir’s sons were baffled to catch the man indulging in an unnatural *** act with the dog.
    © Twitter
Allegedly, the man was under the influence of drugs when he committed this incident. Although Aslam tried to flee from the scene, he was caught by the locals and handed over to the police and a case has been registered under section 429, 374 and section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act.
Inhumane & extremely shocking ? This man strangles, rapes a pregnant dog in Hyderabad, caught by locals, arrested. Now who's real animal! ? pic.twitter.com/6HXohc95bV

    — Karthik Palle (@PalleKarthik) 24 October 2016 We have no words that can accurately describe how we feel about this barbaric ad! What’s this world coming to when people can throw dogs off roof and now this craziness? This guy is sick and pathetic and no punishment is brutal enough. What do you guys think?

MS Dhoni recently took his Hummer out for a drive on the Ranchi roads and looks like the New Zealand team is in total awe of the MS Dhoni ride. Take a look at the picture as the New Zealand players watch from their tour bus.

The fourth ODI is to be played in Ranchi and India already leads the five match series 2-1.
Dhoni has a penchant for cars and motorcycles. He has a massive collection of 23 bikes and more than 10 cars in his various properties here in India.
You can read about how MS Dhoni spends his fortune here.
Meanwhile, Ross Taylor be like ‘this guy is so cool, only if I could be friends with him and hitch a ride to the stadium once’.

A locker key from the Titanic was recently sold at an auction for $104,000. The key originally belonged to Sidney Sedunary, a 23 year old steward on the ship. He was one of the 1,500 victims that lost their life because of the Titanic tragedy caused by the ship hitting an iceberg and sinking on its maiden voyage from England to New York.
    © Wikimedia commons
After the discovery of Sedunary’s body, the key, with a stamp of ‘Locker 14 F Deck’, was sent over to his pregnant widow.
Over the years artifacts from Titanic have fetched huge amounts at auctions. In 2013, a violin this is believed to have been playing while the ship was sinking was sold for more than 1 million pounds.
What do you think about this? Things belonging to Titanic are an important part of history but are they still worth that much?

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live under an authoritarian government? Imagine a country that monitors everything you do and collects huge amounts of data and gives you a rating based on your social behavior. This rating will determine whether you can be trusted as a person or not. Seems like a familiar plot from the popular Netflix series Black Mirror, doesn’t it?
Imagine a world where you get a rating if you run a red light or commit tax fraud. Imagine a world where if you criticize the ruling party, it will reflect on your personal rating. This invasive rating will dominate every aspect of your life. Seems like a legit dystopian world, doesn’t it? Well, this craziness might soon start taking over China by 2020.
China has ambitious plans of introducing their social credit system as early as 2020. They want to build a culture where their citizens will live in a harmonious society where “keeping trust is glorious”!
    © Netflix
According to a policy document that was released in September, if a person drops a few points on their rating, they will be denied a whole range of privileges. The policy read “If trust is broken in one place, restrictions are imposed everywhere.” This credit system will also be extended to companies and will be subjected to inspections and daily supervision.
China is taking every step to collect data and information that is available online. They want to consolidate every all data in a single place and use it to assign these ratings. Based on these systems, their political, social, legal and commercial “credit” will be determined.
The Chinese Government has not exactly elaborated on how this system will work and how the data will be compiled. It is unclear how different behavioral patterns will be weighed against each other and how citizens will be rewarded for good or bad behavior. But, we can assume that the Communist Party will reward good behavior and punish the un-trustworthy, as they will be the ultimate judge and jury.
Since it is Communist China, this plan will eventually be used as a tool to tighten their authoritarian grip on their people.  This new “Social Credit System” is not only about creating the perfect social system or about regulating their economy. It’s about controlling everyone! We should all be very scared.

Last Friday, ‘Bigg Boss 10’ saw its first elimination, and quite a surprising one at that. The more annoying and intolerant the contestant, the longer the stay in the house, you’d expect. But everybody was in for a shock when Priyanka Jagga was evicted from the house.
    © ColorsTV
Stirring up some controversies and hate on the internet after peeing in her pants on national television and making fellow contestant VJ Bani wash them, Priyanka Jagga has left everyone talking about her.
She’s finally spoken up about her eviction and whether she regrets peeing on national television or not on Facebook and it’s as Priyanka Jagga as it gets.

She also put the rumours about her comeback on the show to rest.

But knowing that none of what she says really makes sense, we’re still not sure. Do you want to see her back in the house? Tell us in the comments box below.

Aamir Khan does live up to his title of being ‘Mr Perfectionist’, not just through his movies but his style too. Though in his upcoming flick ‘Dangal’ we will see him portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, a senior Olympic coach and father of Geeta Phogat (who won India’s first ever gold medal in women’s wrestling in 2010 Commonwealth Games), who is tough and rugged . But when it comes to red carpets, Amir’s uncompromising sense of style shows out and loud. Recently at the 18th MAMI (Mumbai Film Festival) he was spotted sporting a tailored blue Shiraz Siddique suit with a rust hued shirt and a Thomas Pink pocket square, needless to say looking impeccable.

With ‘Dangal’ set to release in December, we are expecting more such handsome looks from Aamir.

Say what you want about Donald Trump, but you’ve all got to admit, the man is pretty meme worthy. Well, one artist decided to take things a step further and literally imagined the world as Trump would see it!
Yanko Tsvetkov, creator behind the hilarious and poignant ‘Atlas of Prejudice’, has designed a map that represents how the next President of The United States hopeful views his neighbours and the rest of the world.
The Trump Tower is denoted by a rather ‘subtle’ image of Trumps body part and is represented in countries that house those audacious towers.

Let’s head over to our good old India to see what Trump thinks of our country!

Well, at the very least, Trump thinks that we’ve got a lot of ‘Sexy Chicks’! I say, good for us.
Below is the complete map of the World according to Trump. Let’s all take a moment to really think about what would happen if this man was the most powerful person on the planet!

8 years ago, Farhan Akhtar, Purab Kohli, Arjun Rampal and Luke Kenny redefined the term ‘bromance’ with ‘Rock On’. The box office hit told a tale that revolved around a band reuniting for their shared love of music. They’re back 8 years later and still rocking hard. Luke Kenny is missing but it looks like ‘Magik’ is placing all its bets on Shraddha Kapoor. Yes, we’re talking about ‘Rock On 2’. The first official movie trailer is out and it is safe to assume that Farhan Akhtar is the best part about it. Let’s just hope the guys are able to recreate the good, old Magik! We can’t wait.

By now, everyone knows India picked up their second victory against New Zealand at Mohali on Sunday. But what most people, who didn’t bother watching the match, don’t know is that Scott Styris left the commentary booth during the first innings.
    Here’s what happened:

    — BCCI (@BCCI) October 23, 2016 The ex-New Zealand cricketer was criticising MS Dhoni’s decision to give Kedar Jadhav a bowl saying, “I will walk out of the commentary box, and take the first flight to New Zealand if Jadhav takes a wicket today.”
The off-spinner managed to pick up three wickets and, true to his word, Styris got up and left the commentary box the moment he took his first.
Will he return for the fourth ODI? We wonder where Styris is now?

When it comes to style, let’s face it, there are a very few men who can rub shoulders with David Beckham. Be it his tailored suits or his pairing of cool biker jackets with jeans, we as admirers always get some serious fashion advice from his looks. And when it comes to hairstyles, David is nothing less than an institution. Over the past few years his hairstyles have graduated from braids and buzz cuts to more refined ones. We will agree to a fact that David Beckham has never looked this sharp as of lately and his latest hairstyles are nothing less than perfection.
Here are 5 of his latest hairstyles which prove that he is still a style icon.

It's that time of the year again. While some people are excited about the festival of lights, there are others who spend their time playing Teen Patti. Everyone else is talking about Diwali, so we're going to talk about Teen Patti.
Monday morning conversations usually revolve around how much you won or lost over the weekend. Don't play cards? You will feel amiss at any of the card parties happening all over the country.
Did you just start playing Teen Patti? Do the variations confuse you? We take a look at 5 of the most popular ones out there:
    1. Card, Colour, Bust This is an interesting variation where the dealer, after distributing three cards, as usual, draws three cards face up on the table. The first will be the card, the second will be the colour, and the third will be bust. The first card's number is considered a joker for all, the second card's colour is considered a joker for all and anybody with the third card's number will have to pack his or her hand immediately.
    2. Discard One Here, instead of being dealt three cards, each player is dealt four cards. Each player chooses their best three cards from the hand they are dealt and discard the fourth.
    © Flickr
    3. AK47 This is one of the most popular variations mainly because it has such a catchy name. In this variation, each player is dealt three cards and aces, kings, fours and sevens are all jokers.
    4. Muflis This is the usual game of Teen Patti with one major difference. Instead of the player with the highest set of cards winning, the player with the lowest cards wins. So here, a 2, 3, and 5 will win against an Ace Trail.

    5. Red And Black Three cards are dealt to all players and then one card is dealt in the middle. After each round, a new card is turned over in the middle. If the card is red, the game is played regularly with that card being a joker. On the other hand, if the card is black, the game turns into muflis where the lower value hand wins. These games can go on for quite a bit.
There are many more variations, but we couldn't possibly cover all of them. Which one is your favourite?

We call ourselves a democracy, yet one can’t really deny the fact that we are gradually turning intolerant and of late a lot of incidents have only added to it. At times like these, several celebrities, politicians and even opinion leaders have come forward and taken their stand either in favor of the issue or against it. Who can forget Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s views on intolerance and the debate it triggered? Well, giving his views on the issue of intolerance, there is one man who has dubbed the growing intolerance as “a curse we are seeing of late.” The man is none other than Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata.
    © Reuters
“I think everybody knows where the intolerance is coming from, what it is. Like many thousands, millions of Indians, one wants to see a country without intolerance,” Ratan Tata told the media. He was addressing the 119th foundation day function of Scindia School in Gwalior. He further added, “The Maharaja (Jyotiraditya) talked about intolerance. It is a curse we are seeing of late.”  Well, we couldn’t agree more, who doesn’t want to see a country free from intolerance?
In fact, Tata further said, “we want to live in an environment where we love our fellow men. We don’t shoot them, we don’t kill them or hold them hostages, but give a bit of ourselves and we give and take.” At the event, Jyotiraditya Scindia also addressed the students stating that “an environment of intolerance” was prevailing in the society where each person is told ‘what to speak, how to dress, what to hear and what to eat.’

Soon after Tata made the statement, Twitter was abuzz with comments on Tata’s take on intolerance. Surprisingly, unlike other prominent personalities who received huge flak for their opinions, Tata’s views did not meet the same fate. In fact, some people are actually praising him for speaking up against the issue.

If you’ve been feeling worthless in life, here’s some salt for your wounds.
Someone just got into The Guinness Book of World Records. For doing absolutely nothing. And it’s not even a human! This world is making this sea cow famous just for living. Okay, to be fair, he really is special.
Meet Snooty. His caretaker describes him as ‘intelligent’, ‘personable’ and ‘calming’. He’s a manatee (also called a sea cow) and that basically translates to ‘the cutest’!

Most manatees live for about 10 years but this fighter here is 68! The reason behind this miracle can be credit to the fact that he lives in a controlled environment where these ‘vulnerable mammals’ cannot be harmed by algae blooms and fishing debris.
Kinda fits that he’s called Snooty.

Waris Ahluwalia’s lustrous resume just got better. Actually, a lot better!
How many designers or actors out there can boast of a day named after them? Not many. But Waris Ahluwalia can.  The Mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, declared October 19th as ‘Waris Ahluwalia Day’ to recognise his efforts to counter religious intolerance. The honour was conferred at the Mayor’s official residence.
Waris took to Instagram to express his gratitude and wrote “I had a dream last night that the @nycmayor proclaimed the day as 'Waris Ahluwalia Day'. Thank you Mr. Mayor for this incredible honor. I will continue to uphold the values of this magnificent metropolis I call home”.

Waris Ahluwalia is a well known jewellery designer and creates fine jewellery under his label titled ‘House of Waris’. He has also held a fashion exhibition in 2011 as a part of New York Fashion Week where he exhibited his line of cashmere and silk scarves.
It is to be noted that New York-based Waris was denied boarding an AeroMexico flight bound for New York from Mexico City only because of his turban. The airline later apologised.

Let's make this Diwali a festival of kindness, and spread the joy and warmth to others that we often feel being around our loved ones.

How hard you go in life is a reflection of how hard you go in the gym. Fitness is just as much a mental game as it’s a physical, or maybe more. It’s not about aesthetics. It’s about how you get back up when life beats you to your knees. Let’s put it this way—the heavier you can lift, the harder your ‘will’ becomes. Every day you battle iron in the gym so why not apply what iron teaches you, real life.
    1) You Need To Work Your Ass Off To Be Successful © Thinkstock/Getty Images
A successful career is hard-earned, just like a great physique. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is an exceptional physique or career. Sculpting your body in the gym will teach you that everything that’s worth having has to be chased relentlessly. The discipline you keep with your diet and the patience you have with the results, all of this can be implemented in real life and that’s how success is chased.
    2) Growing Is NOT Done In The Comfort Zone © T-nation
Life starts where the church ends. Just like you need to shock your muscles to make them grow, you need to step out of your comfort zone to become an achiever. If you are way too much comfortable with a weight, you are not pushing your muscles enough. Hence, you wouldn’t grow. Squeezing in the last two reps when you can’t is just like chasing your dreams when you can’t afford to. Your sweet little space is not your friend!
    3) Results Will Not Always Be In Your Favor. Suck It Up And Become Relentless! © fitnessandpower
You’ll fail numerous times while trying to put on muscle or lose weight. The results will not always be as you expected. Either you can quit or say **** it, let’s do it again! Just like you figure out your program and diet, figure out why things are not working out in your life. Trial and error is the foundation of a great body and of a happy life.
    4) There Will Be Naysayers. Use Their Negativity As Fuel To Reach Your Goals  © musclenadnutrition
Remember that jacked gym bro who’s always looking down upon you? Yup, these are the naysayers. Don’t avoid them. Use their negativity to fuel yourself. Make their mocks your driving force. You’ll find the same type of people in life as well. Remember the ones who said ‘you can’t’ and move towards your goal.

It features Dwayne Bravo and Chris Gayle singing and dancing to its tunes. So, plug in your earphones and listen to this peppy song.
Warning: It gets stuck in your head and you would find yourself humming it all day long!

It has been two months since Reliance officially launched the VOLTE network and it has been handling more data traffic than any of its competitors. In fact, Reliance Jio has become the largest data services providers in the world, which is a great achievement considering it’s only been two months since the company came into existence.
The 4G-Only and VOLTE network has the highest amount of data services being used which amounts to about 16,000 TB per day. According to analysts at Credit Suisse, this is the most amount of data any carrier has handled on any given day. Chinese carriers have seen data usage of 12,000TB at most whereas Vodafone sees only 6,000 TB of data usage.
Reliance Jio was launched with an unbelievable offer where they offered unlimited data and calls for every Jio user and is also providing access to movies, music and TV streaming services for free. One can give credit to this ‘Welcome Offer’ as it clearly indicated that people wanted to be a part of Reliance’s free data and voice call plans. It attracted millions of new subscribers during this frenzy as India is considered one of the most price-sensitive markets to operate in.
According to Reliance Jio, they amassed over 16 million subscribers in two months and they also claim of adding anywhere between 6 Lakh to 1.1 million subscribers each day.
However, since their launch, there have been numerous complaints regarding their download and upload speeds. In fact, users have noticed a significant drop earlier this month as their download speeds dropped from 11.31 Mbps to an average of 8 Mbps. We are yet to see how the situation changes once more subscribers are added and whether there will be a significant effect on download speeds.

Rage is the one word that describes the band and its music perfectly. The Delhi-based tech metal band has been well and alive for over a decade and they are still going strong. The four member lineup includes Shashank Bhatnagar as lead vocalist, Reuben Bhattacharya on bass, Biswarup Gupta as lead guitarist and Nishant Hagjer on drums. Undying Inc. is known for their overwhelming and aggressive music which is apparently a comment on the chaotic status of the world.
    © Planet Tabrez
Their debut album ‘Preface to Erase’ came out way back in 2007. The 7 track album was extremely consistent throughout with some solid songs. Undying Inc. was a part of the growing metal scene at that time and they started to carve a place for themselves in the industry.
With their second album ‘Aggressive World Dynasty’, which released in 2010, they wanted to highlight the brutal reality of Delhi. The album perfectly reflects their anger and rage over the violence in the city and how people are becoming more and more hostile in general.
The band has already established a distinctive sound and boast of an equal balance between music and lyrics to create some incredible and real heavy metal. Their main inspiration come from bands like Pantera, Periphery, Meshuggah, Despised Icon and many more.

Almost 15 years ago, in 2001 came N. Chandra’s ‘Style’. Nobody knew that the movie would prove to be such a cult hit. Sahil Khan and Sharman Joshi made their Bollywood debut as ‘Chantu and Bantu’ and became an instant hit. Though the first movie was hilarious, the second installment, named ‘Excuse Me’, couldn’t stand up to the original. Now, 15 years ahead, ‘Style 3’ might just be in the making. How do we know? Well, Sahil Khan himself hinted so in his recent Facebook post.

Sahil Khan posted a picture of himself standing with Sharman Joshi and the captioned hinted towards the coming of ‘Style 3’.  It’s been a good 15 years and Sahil Khan has come a long, long way. While Sharman Joshi continued his innings in Bollywood, Sahil went ahead and made a name for himself in the world of bodybuilding. He’s one of the top bodybuilders in India at the moment, competing or not and his success in the world of bodybuilding can’t be ignored.

The happiest music festival took place at Shillong this weekend and it was, hands down, one of the best we’ve seen in a long time. From fresh talent to established performers, there was so much to look out for and you could not even blink, in case you missed even a second of the performances! And, now that we’re all back to the grind, those of us who were there are missing the awesomeness that was the Bacardi Nh7 Weekender. Those who weren’t there don’t even know what they’ve missed. For both groups, we’ve put together a set of some of the best pictures clicked during the two-day festival by music lovers with a great eye for some amazing shots. These are some of the images that really represent what Weekender Shillong was all about. The vibrant pictures of the past two days of the festival posted by festival-goers and artists really do show why it’s called the happiest music festival in the country. After the ban on Pakistani artists following the Uri attacks, the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ that has Fawad Khan in a cameo fell into rough waters. The MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) put a ban on Karan Johar’s much awaited film and social media was divided into two. After much hue and cry, the ban was lifted but not without condition. MNS chief Raj Thackeray said, "Every producer who has cast a Pakistani actor must contribute Rs 5 crore to the Army welfare fund".
As social media went into a tizzy with the incredible condition put forth by MNS, a retired officer of the Indian Air Force responded and put a lot of things in perspective. Manmohan Bahadur, who retired as Air Vice Marshal of the IAF and is also a former UN soldier, rejected Raj Thackeray’s ‘donation’ proposal and proved that the Indian defence forces are beyond petty politics.
I served four decades in uniform- and never did I live on extorted money. What's this happening in my country???? @PMOIndia @manoharparrikar https://t.co/tB2wj4Kxqw
    — Manmohan Bahadur (@BahadurManmohan) October 22, 2016 Why should the Armed Forces be made a part of this extortion? By accepting this money they would become a 'receiver' of tainted money @adgpi https://t.co/tB2wj4Kxqw
    — Manmohan Bahadur (@BahadurManmohan) October 22, 2016 Indian Armed Forces cannot, and SHUD NOT, become crutches 4pol ambitions. Unfortunately, this is the trend seen in recent past. Stay away pl https://t.co/BBkujRETja
    — Manmohan Bahadur (@BahadurManmohan) October 22, 2016 Army never doubts the love n sentiment of countrymen behind contributions to its welfare fund. From now on...? #RajThackeray  's extortion.
    — Manmohan Bahadur (@BahadurManmohan) October 22, 2016 Is Raj Thackeray the Government or a .....? Lets b clear. As @ShekharGupta has twted, its constitutional breakdown- taking a Mr Nobody's ok https://t.co/KzANTwIFVM
    — Manmohan Bahadur (@BahadurManmohan) October 22, 2016 In no time, Twitter joined in too.
If you ask these pseudo deshbakhts to go and fight for the nation on borders they will be the first to run away
    — Retarded Writer (@retardedwriter) October 20, 2016 @yogashar99 @BahadurManmohan but shouldn't Indian govt be punished 1st for giving them permission/visas to work here?
    Nice logic sir :)
    — Tamolina Banerjee (@Tamy1203) October 23, 2016 Unlike Fadnavis, the  Army has self-respect. Must decline extorted "chillar." India needs no mafia gun to its head to look after its Army
    — Shekhar Gupta (@ShekharGupta) October 22, 2016 The Indian army, navy and air force have been responsible for protecting our borders with their life, sweat and blood. The amount of gratitude we have for them is immense and it is heartening to see that our defence forces are so fiercely proud of what they do.

While the world is moving forward towards development and future technology, some segments in India are trying to hold the nation back by suggesting recommendations that can drastically affect India’s development. The new education policy for the Ministry of Human Resource Development is to be formulated soon and the Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas (SSUN), an affiliate of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has suggested the gradual removal of the English language as a medium of instruction, both in government as well as private institutes. Although the organization wants more emphasis to be put on Indian languages at all education levels and we are fine with it, should this be demanded on the grounds of eliminating a language that is widely/ globally spoken and used?

The SSUN leaders have reportedly met the HRD minister Prakash Javadekar with their list of suggestions and have also asked the government to “immediately provide facilities to introduce education in Indian languages in English-medium institutions like IIT, IIM and NIT.” They even asked for legal actions against schools that prohibit students from speaking in their mother tongue. “He said we will certainly consider your suggestions. He also appreciated many suggestions,” said Atul Kothari, SSUN founder and secretary after meeting the HRD minister. Atul Kothari is an invitee member of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini and a veteran RSS pracharak.

Implementing this order means that schools and colleges in different states will have different languages since the emphasis will be on the ‘mother tongue’. So, how do you expect the students to interact with the rest of the world? Most importantly, if there isn’t any one language followed in all the schools and universities; things will only get tougher for the students. Let’s not forget that a major part of the Indian economy thrives on multinational companies and there are several Indian companies too that are doing exceptionally well in the global market? Do you think the employment won’t suffer if the English language is eliminated from the education system?
This doesn’t end here, as apparently an RSS affiliate has suggested awarding PHDs to people who haven’t gone to university as well. When will this insanity end? On one hand where deserving students are fighting against reservations, suggesting these moves only dishearten them and their efforts.
