  1. Christian Bale is doing a movie where his character actually looks like a normal person - weird right? - and honestly that should be enough for everyone to get excited for the movie. But 'Ford v. Ferrari' already looks so great judging by its first trailer that it will surely be one of the best movies of the year. The movie is basically about the building of Ford GT40 from scratch, an entirely new automobile with the potential to finally defeat the perennially dominant Ferrari at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France. Who would've thought, considering the name is Ford vs Ferrari! Okay, jokes aside, the premise already sounds fun and then you bring in two actors like Christian Bale and Matt Damon and just elevate the movie even more. The first trailer is causing a lot of excitement right now and well, no surprises there, just watch it for yourself. In the movie, Matt Damon plays the role of Carroll Shelby, an American automotive designer who is roped in by the Ford team to make a car that could beat the Ferrari. And the other lead, Christian Bale plays Ken Miles, a British engineer and driver who is asked to test the car and make it win during the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France. The movie still a few months away as it's all set to release this November but for now, the trailer is enough to cause a lot of excitement, even more so since James Mangold is the director of 'Ford v. Ferrari'. People are so ready for the movie. I may have just watched this trailer so many times that my phone froze https://t.co/O4p5TPyoqy — Jillian Sederholm (@JillianSed) June 3, 2019 Great moment. Nothing makes me happier than watching Christian Bale punch Matt Damon in the face in the #FORDvFERRARI trailer pic.twitter.com/obzeqTWlTl — Jillian Sederholm (@JillianSed) June 3, 2019 Yes, please. I was already in on this movie, then I heard the opening chords of "Gimme Shelter" One ticket to the #FORDvFERRARI midnight premiere, please https://t.co/f3rJdIfxd3 — Joel Sebastianelli (@JJSebastianelli) June 3, 2019 Exactly. If you want to get even more excited as you watch the awesome trailer for #FORDvFERRARI keep in mind that James @mang0ld has made both one of the greatest westerns (3:10 to Yuma) AND one of the best comic book movies (Logan) of all time. — ReactionRocket (@ReactionRocket) June 3, 2019 It's going to be great. I saw this on on Disney's movie lineup that came out a few weeks ago and thought it was gonna be some lack luster documentary. Looks like they're gonna do the rivalry some justice tho. #FordVFerrari https://t.co/yCAJ6iTJr8 — Dom Melendez (@SirProStatus) June 3, 2019 Yep. #FORDvFERRARI looks like it will deliver and be award-worthy. They can take my $ now. https://t.co/7zsVkK4Vei — Tim (@TimstlF1) June 3, 2019 This will be it, hopefully. I'm so excited about this! #FORDvFERRARI is going to be an incredible movie! With that said, I'm still over here waiting for a respectable NASCAR movie... ð https://t.co/v4q5d9iM78 — á°áá¥áá á·á¬áá®áá© (@Brian_Murphy_) June 3, 2019 Christian Bale and Matt Damon for the win. I'm obviously a bit biased but I think #FORDvFERRARI will be a great film. The true story is perfect for Hollywood, there are several different ways they can tell it, and the all-star cast suggests no expense has been spared. Can't wait. https://t.co/2WqXV2Guqd — Marty P (@tweetingmarty) June 3, 2019 What a poster. Now THIS is a poster. #FordvFerrari pic.twitter.com/LA6KmyJk6n — Daniel Howat (@howatdk) May 31, 2019

  3. Game Of Throne's final season is just around the corner and I bet every 'GoT' fan is sitting at the edge of their seats, wondering what to expect for the next one month. In India alone, people are throwing 'Game of Thrones' theme parties, doing season re-runs and taking one quiz after the other to catch up with whatever they've missed out on, so they're in tune with the latest episodes. It's phenomenal really, how the most watched show on earth has put people together in such an awesome way. HBO Just recently, Instagram came up with some interesting data concerning Indian 'Game Of Thrones' fans and we believe it to be absolutely true and alarming at the same time. The data was gathered by Instagram depending on the relevant GoT conversations happening on the platform since the last 30 days and a lot of information regarding fan theories and watching habits were revealed. HBO In the data summation, it was gathered that India ranks fourth when it comes to discussing 'Game Of Thrones' on Intagram, and of course it was the fourth country across the globe which is most excited for the final season! The number one to be most excited about GoT is USA, then Brazil, Great Britain, India and then Germany. Which means, Indians on Instagram do interact about what they're looking forward to the most or about probable theories that could come to light in the final season. The level of attraction where GoT is concerned is a lot higher than any other topic on Instagram, according to the data. HBO The influence of GoT across all channels is so prominent that even dating apps like OkCupid have a relevant GoT feature on their app. They have made it possible for daters to date each other according to their favourite TV show and since GoT ranks the charts, users have been allotted GoT badges to help them find their perfect match based on the favourite GoT character or kingdom. I think that's fairly innovative and a great conversation starter to say the least! HBO Another fascinating data search found that many Indians also have favourite characters and are looking forward to their screen time in season eight. The most talked about GoT characters on Indian Instagram are Jon Snow, ranking number 1, followed by Daenerys Targaryen, Aarya Stark, Sansa Stark and Tyrion Lannister. So three Straks, two Targaryen's and one Lannister, who probably is a Targaryen according a popular fan theory, is who people want to watch in season 8! Not bad if I must say so myself. The nominated characters on Instagram actually all have a wise fan theory behind them, that's why their demand to see them again is most talked about. Well, most people just want to see what happens between Dany and Jon next TBH! HBO So, in case you're a GoT fan and you have participated on Instagram discussing the show, you're responsible for this apt and accurate data accumulation a day before the final season is out and we're happy we're progressing towards pop-culture in a slow yet steady manner. Here's to hoping all your theories and wishes regarding the series see the light of day!
  4. Ranveer Singh is the man of the hour, like always. From sweeping all the awards to a great run with 'Gully Boy', this man is unstoppable and how! His next is going to be a treat for a lot of people as he will step into the shoes of Kapil Dev for the former Indian skipper's biopic, '83'. 6. This season of 'Koffee With Karan' came with its own set of controversies, fodder for gossip and some fresh scoop on some of our favourite stars who made it to the couch and spilt some beans during the rapid-fire rounds of the show. However, the season is now all set to draw the curtains with a grand finale, which will have Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra brewing some insanely hot coffee for us. The star power next week will go off the charts with Begum of Bollywood #KareenaKapoorKhan and Global Sensation @PriyankaChopra on the Koffee couch. #KoffeeWithKaran #KoffeeFinale pic.twitter.com/pSagOiIcVX — Star World (@StarWorldIndia) February 17, 2019 One of the teasers show us the chemistry between the two hotties, where they speak about how both of them were proposed in Greece by their respective partners and another one shows a sassy PC talking about how she can beat any millennial in the art of how fast can she 'move on' in life. #KareenaKapoorKhan and @PriyankaChopra connect, reminisce and compete on the Koffee couch. #KoffeeWithKaran. #KoffeeFinale pic.twitter.com/T1gPfFczEv — Star World (@StarWorldIndia) February 17, 2019 This is going to be a great finale with some major scoop awaiting us in this episode. 7. MWC (Mobile World Congress) is an annual trade show that happens in Barcelona. It marks a very important milestone in the telecom as well as the phone industry, since brands announce their plans for the upcoming year and this helps in setting a proper roadmap for upcoming tech. While one would expect the MWC 2019 to be all about 5G, folding phones shall be stealing the limelight this year. © YouTube For years, we've heard Samsung tease bendable displays, and we're finally going to see them in the wild. In fact, the world's first bendable phone has already been shown off at CES 2019 by Royole. We have a made a list of folding smartphones that we expect to see at MWC this year: 1. Samsung Galaxy Fold or X: © YouTube We aren't sure what the official name of the phone will be and the rumour mills have churned out a lot of them. This is the same phone Samsung had showed-off last year for a few seconds, and we expect it to go on sale by the end of this year. Reports suggest that Samsung will call it the "Infinity Flex" display and it'll measure 7.3-inches with a resolution of 2152 x 1536 pixels. It's slated to cost a whopping US$ 1,800 (Rs 1,29,000) at launch and will sport a gigantic 6,000+ mAh battery. The battery shall be split and divided into the two sides. Reports also suggest that Samsung will call the interface OneUI and will let the user open three apps at once. Obviously, it shall be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 processor or even Samsung's own Exynos chipset. 2. Huawei's Foldable Phone: © LetsGoDigital Huawei has emerged as a major long term player and is currently among the few to compete with Samsung in the flagship range. While Samsung has been officially teasing foldable phones for years, we've seen multiple patent filings by Huawei to confirm the brand is serious about the segment. Not much is known about its phone right now, but Huawei's CEO had told in an interview once that the foldable phone can replace your laptops. Reports suggest it will sport a 7-inch display and support 5G. If Huawei is serious about marketing the phone as a laptop replacement, it shall also have a blazing fast processor for top-notch performance on the go. 3. LG: © LetsGoDigital Samsung and LG not only compete indirectly selling smartphones but also have a rivalry in the display panel segment. The two supply a huge chunk of panels to other OEMs and Samsung has managed to get an edge with OLED panels. With folding displays, LG doesn't want to miss out on the opportunity. LG has registered three brand names: Flex, Foldi, and Duplex. Flex could be a curved phone, Foldi could be a folding phone, Duplex could be a larger tablet cum phone with two folds. For now, we haven't heard much about their plans, and given the poor sales record of LG phones, we expect the brand to go hard on this concept to make a comeback. 4. Motorola: © WikiMedia The brand was insanely popular back in the day for its RAZR phones. The flip phones had created a hype of their own and the series had helped Motorola become a top phone maker. Now, the brand is owned by Lenovo and intends on making a nostalgic, but modernised comeback with Razr branding. Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing said that foldable screens may be the key to reintroduce the RAZR. There have been patents registered that suggest the company is exploring this design line. 5. Xiaomi: © Xiaomi Last month Xiaomi released a prototype video that showed both sides of the phone can be folded to transform it from a tablet into a more compact phone. Xiaomi's president revealed that they have employed a four-wheel drive foldable shaft technology and a foldable display to achieve the form factor. The prototype visible in the video demonstrates only the folding functionality of the device and all other specifications remain unknown. Xiaomi has become a major player globally and is capable of derailing other products in the segment with aggressive pricing.
  8. Samsung's next launch event is right around the corner and the Korean company may have just made the event a bit more exciting. Samsung is scheduled to announce the Galaxy S10 and its different models. However, a foldable smartphone may also be unveiled. In one of the videos promoting the Unpacked 2019 event, Samsung teased a foldable smartphone that may launch alongside the Galaxy S10. © LetsGoDigital Based on these teasers, renders of the Galaxy F or Galaxy Fold may look like have surfaced online. Samsung did give us a glimpse last November of the foldable smartphone; however, it was encased in a thick dummy case. Samsung promises that the final version of the phone will be a lot thinner. However, it did not stop LetsGoDigital from making renders based on the promo video and past leaks. The bezels are thin around the edges and it looks rather sexy as compared to what Samsung showed off last year. © LetsGoDigital The overall form factor in the render is a lot wider which gives it a uniform look you would expect from a tablet. It looks less square which means it will also be a wider screen when folded. The smartphone will use Samsung's new One UI which will have easier functionality for one-handed use. However, this is all based on Samsung's promo video and if Samsung sticks to what it showed, the final device will look very similar to these renders. Having said that, you must take this news with a pinch of salt as you never know whether Samsung will show off a foldable smartphone in its full glory or not at the Unpacked event later this month. 9. The 'Super Bowl' is a widely watched event worldwide and hence always brings a bag of goodies in the form of some big shot trailers and teasers dropping our way. Here are the top 5 movies trailers that left us all excited: 1. Avengers: Endgame- Tony Stark is coming back and everyone is gearing up to take on Thanos. How do we keep calm now? April is way too far! 2. Captain Marvel- This one is going to be special with Brie Larson, as the insanely powerful Captain Marvel, getting stuck and fighting it out between two alien races. 3. Toy Story 4- This one is packed with a lot of action and nostalgia because Bo Peep is coming back after more than 20 years after making a debut back in 1999. The movie will hit theatres in June. 4. Fast And Furious Presents: Hobbs And Shaw- This is going to be the 'Fast And Furious' spin-off that we deserve and stars Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham who will begrudgingly join hands to fight the terror known as Brixton. 5. The Handmaid's Tale ( Season 3)- If you're a fan of this mega-popular series, then we know that you're on pins and needles waiting for the release of this one. After the last season left fans on a cliffhanger, this one promises more drama. So, which one are you the most excited for? Let us know in the comment section.
  10. January saw a plethora of Bollywood releases which fans have savoured over the weekends. With 'Uri', 'Manikarnika' and 'Thackeray' making some big moolah at the box office, the next month is also lined up with some exciting movies that are going to release: 1. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga The first Friday of the month will witness Rajkummar Rao, Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor at the box office with a unique love story about acceptance and love for the LGBTQ community. The trailer has already impressed everyone and the audience wants to welcome this movie with open arms. 2. Gully Boy Probably one of the most anticipated releases of not just this month but this year as well. Zoya Akhtar, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's combined genius will create some major magic on the big screen. Also, the music is already a hit and since it's the only big budget Valentine release, plan your date around it maybe? 3. Total Dhamaal This franchise needs no introduction and the madness with this one only gets bigger because the star cast includes names like Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn. The family entertainment releases on the 22nd so make sure you get your entire clan to watch this. 4. The Fakir Of Venice Farhan Akhtar is coming back on the big screen with this movie which has been waiting to be released for over a decade. The movie follows an Indian con man who is hired to find a man who can sit as an art installation in Venice. 5. Amavas This horror action flick is directed by Bhushan Patel and stars the gorgeous Nargis Fakhri and Sachin Joshi in it, so if you're in the mood for horror, then this is your pick. Hope we've helped sort your Friday plans.
  11. In case you didn't know, the Golden Globes awards happened this morning. But who cares about anyone winning anything when 'Game of Thrones' fans ended up winning the entire thing. HBO released a 5-second video each of all the upcoming shows they have, and obviously GOT season 8 was a part of it. Just 5 seconds of Sansa Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, and Jon Snow at Winterfell was all it took for the fans, who have been desperately waiting for the new season since the last one ended, to get even more excited for April and for the release of season 8. #GameofThrones returns to @HBO this April. pic.twitter.com/1muHcwJIFJ — Game Of Thrones (@GameOfThrones) January 7, 2019 The tiny sneak peek shows a pissed off Sansa Stark giving Dany major side-eye while saying “Winterfell is yours, Your Grace.” Honestly, I'm not even exaggerating when I say everyone is overwhelmed over this bare minimum footage that HBO has so graciously given to the fans. 12. 2018 has been one of the busiest and most happening years for smartphones. We've witnessed the highest amount of launches and with brands getting more and more aggressive in terms of pricing and features, 2019 is going to be equally fun. We've seen a lot of new trends this year, including the fancy notches, dual displays, three to four camera's on the rear as well as sliding modules. One trend that'll be rising in 2019 is 5G, and with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 coming out soon, OEMs are going to be crazy after it. We're expecting to see the new Snapdragon 855 chipset in a variety of top-end phones throughout 2019 and beyond. Even Huawei and Samsung are working on creating an equivalent processor, if not better, and this competition is going to be very interesting. Here's our list of the awaited smartphone launches of 2019: 1. Samsung Foldable Phone: © YouTube In November, Samsung showed off a concept phone that has a foldable screen. It can essentially bend into a phone when needed, and expand into a bigger tablet. While a launch or announcement date is still unknown, Samsung has been confident it can release the technology for mass production in the coming months. We know the device is sporting a 4.85-inch display with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 840x1,960 pixels. When folded into a tablet, the screen will measure 7.3-inch and house an aspect ratio of 4.2:3 along with a resolution 1,536x2,152 pixels. Samsung has been working on foldable technology for years now, and even though they've had the basics right since quite some time, the brand has been trying to perfect it. 2. Pixel 3 Lite: © Rozetked Even before the launch of the Pixel 3, there have been rumours and reports stating that Google is working on a midrange Pixel device. Packing in the same camera as the flagship devices, a cheaper alternative could really set the cat among the pigeons. While earlier reports suggested the phone will run on the recently announced Snapdragon 710 SoC, fresh rumours point towards the Snapdragon 670 platform. Google hasn't officially confirmed the prospects of a third Pixel 3 phone even though recent leaks have been very convincing. 3. Samsung Galaxy S10: © Reuters According to solid leaks, we already know the S10 will be available in three variants: a regular Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Plus. Samsung is expected to launch the flagship around MWC Barcelona, and current speculation points towards February 20. The S10 Lite is said to have a 5.8-inch display, the S10 or the "regular" phone will have a 6.1-inch display and lastly, the S10 Plus will have a huge 6.4-inch panel. With the S10, Samsung will be celebrating ten years of the series and bundle along with an S10 Plus with 1TB of internal storage as well. There have also been rumours around Samsung implementing a punch-hole display on the front for a better screen-to-body ratio. If true, it'll be the only mainstream brand to completely skip the notch trend. 4. OnePlus 7: © Pocket Lint Every OnePlus phone, so far, has featured a Qualcomm chipset, so we already expect the phone to feature the chipset and now, the company has already confirmed that'll be the case. A report claims the company will save 5G for an upcoming device set to be released later in 2019, so you may have to wait a while to get the biggest benefit from the Snapdragon 855. Besides, the OnePlus 7 is also rumoured to sport a faster in-display fingerprint scanner along with drastically improved camera optics. 5. Nokia 9: © Slash Leaks There's been a lot of talk about a device called Nokia 9 - at one time, the Nokia 8 Sirocco was talked about as the Nokia 9 in rumours. Remember the leaks about a phone with five cameras on the back? That's expected to be the Nokia 9. We've already seen phones like the Huawei P20 Pro that has a rear triple camera setup, even the OnePlus 6T is reported to have a similar arrangement. With the Nokia 9, HMD Global is taking the game to a whole new level. 6. Huawei P30 Pro: © BGR The P20 Pro has been critically lauded for its optics, and it's obvious to expect the P30 Pro to carry on the legacy. Recent reports suggest the phone will have a 10x zoom and a 3D sensor on its rear that is similar to a time-of-flight system. Optical zooming is considered to be much better than digital thanks to greater retained details overall. A leaked image suggests the wider notch is going and will be replaced by a U-shaped smaller water-drop notch. The Huawei P30, on the other hand, will make do with a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. 7. LG G8: © Android Pit Exactly when will LG announce its next flagship phone is a little up in the air, but we may see it at the Mobile World Congress and it's likely to feature the Snapdragon 855. That's because every recent flagship phone from LG has featured the top-end Qualcomm chipset at the time, so we'd expect the same from the LG G8. LG has been lagging behind Samsung in the last few years and has been desperately trying to make a comeback. As for the company's long-awaited first foldable device, it looks like the wait will continue until the third quarter of next year.
  13. Rohit Shetty is back with his next movie 'Simmba' and it stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. Here are 5 things we are really looking forward to see in this movie: 1. Sara Ali Khan's Acting- This star kid is making us forget that nepotism had a hand to play in her career, because we absolutely love the freshness and the antics that she is bringing along with her on the screen. ' She already impressed the audience in 'Kedarnath' and her media appearances are hilariously natural and funny, which is why we are looking forward to see what she brings in 'Simmba'. 14. Diljit Dosanjh, as the hypebeast that he has transformed into, never fails to amaze us sartorially. While he usually does it with his shows, appearances and Instagram posts, he has now decided to go beyond that and give a desi twist to that. 15. PUBG, more specifically the 'PUBG Mobile', is the most popular game on the planet and has gathered quite some steam in India. A new update that was released for the PC version of the game introduced a new map called Vikendi. The new map is covered with snow where players can track each other in the snow. © YouTube The new map is now coming to PUBG Mobile with some of the features. For example, the green ghillie suit has now been replaced with a similar outfit but is completely white. This will let users blend in with the snow environment to get an added advantage over enemies. The feature to track enemies may not be able to make it on the Mobile version as it is graphics intensive and requires a lot of juice which smartphones lack. The new map will also have snowmobiles for users to traverse the environments and also introduce new weapons. © YouTube PUBG mobile servers will not be active today as Tencent will be applying the new update and the new map to its servers from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm IST. The new update will also provide rewards for players who update their games before 25th December. Tencent will be giving away Outfit Box III and 1,888 BP points for users who will update the game before the above-mentioned date. © PUBG The new map will be available from the main menu and PUBG mobile will also get a new snow theme. New important features now include giving users the ability to report suspicious behaviour while spectating after dying. PUBG Mobile's new version will also get added Season spending rewards and added Firearms Finish Upgrade system.

  17. Before we delve into this, first, I need to get something out of the way. NAAAAAAAAAAAAAINSGONYAMABAGITHIBABA. Okay. I had to do that. Anyone who has watched the nineties classic 'The Lion King' knows that this powerful opening Zulu chant, with the rising sun in the backdrop, calling out to all the animals in Pride Lands, is nothing short of perfection. I still get goosebumps. At one point, it even was my alarm back in college! I still remember the first time I saw the movie. I was 6 and I had gone to spend the holidays at my aunt's place in Bangalore. I was particularly out of control that day and my aunt, who was on the verge on losing her mind, plonked me down in front of the TV and popped a videotape into the VCR, asking me to quietly watch the 'cartoon'. The 'word' cartoon was enough for me to shut up and fix my complete attention on the giant Onida TV. I will never forget how my heart started beating faster when the Zulu chant began and I saw all the animals wake from their slumber and make their way to Pride Rock to meet their future king. I was only 6 and this was my first Disney movie, so obviously I was not ready for the avalanche of emotions that this movie engulfed me in. I still remember how Mufasa's death destroyed me and how the tears wouldn't stop, as I watched little Simba desperately try to wake his dad up by tugging his ear… okay, I need a moment…sorry…I can't…. If you are with me so far, you know how much this movie means to us nineties kids. It opened us up to the world of Disney and introduced us to the magic of animation. “When I was a child, I wouldn't eat unless my parents played Lion King. Seeing the new trailer filled me with childhood nostalgia,” said my 25-year-old junior from college, Jacinth Miriyam. Which is why it goes without saying that the people most excited for the live-action remake of the classic movies, even more so than kids, are adults, and here's why: 1. A Throwback To Our Golden Childhood So, when the trailer dropped today and I heard James Earl Jones' magnificent, sonorous Mufasa voice saying “Everything the light touches, is our kingdom”…it was like someone had pressed a button in my brain and I was 6 all over again. This movie signifies a time gone by, a time of innocence, a time when childhood meant watching animated movies with our mouths hanging open, marvelling at a whole another world. “For me, The Lion King instantly represents my childhood. It was my favourite movie ever at that time. It made me laugh, cry and feel anger at the same time. I think this movie teaches resilience in all of its purity, and that's what makes it immortal and so loved”, my friend Chiara Lana from Italy told me when I asked her what she felt about watching it again. 2. Watching It On The Big Screen After Almost 20 Years I am not among the lucky ones who got to see this movie on the big screen (my first movie in a theatre was 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun'!). So, watching it in a live-action format on a giant screen will not only make this special, but in a way, I will be able to make up to my little self who missed this marvel on a big screen. “Watching movies in halls was still a novel concept back in the day, at least for my family. So now that I get to see it again, even though in a different format, somehow I feel like I have honoured my childhood by catching up on what I missed out all those years ago.”- James Matthew, my 28-year-old buddy from school. 3. A Need To Remember All The Emotions We Felt When We Saw It The First Time I was only 6, so obviously I was not prepared for so many things. The hurt I felt at Scar's betrayal, the devastation at Mufasa's death, the joy at Simba re-uniting with Nala and his mother, the horror at watching Simba and Scar fight, and the exhilaration at Simba finally climbing up Pride Rock to take his place…it was a roller-coaster that a tiny little me did not see coming. I will never forget how I ran up to my aunt after the movie ended and demanded some serious answers from her, especially as to how could a lion kill his own brother? I will never forget her face when I asked her “Will you do this to me too, auntie?” My 29-year-old friend from college, Shruti Menon, echoed the same sentiments, “Mufasa's death was so unpredictable and heartbreaking especially when you're watching as a kid. It really shook me as a child and still does, to be honest. But when you grow older, you do realise there's so much strength and beauty to the story, to remember who you are and where you come from. After all, it's the circle of life.” 4. The Beautiful Soundtrack I am pretty sure this is going to be a sing-a-long movie, as 90 per cent of the people in the hall will be comprised of adults, who already know all the songs from the movie by-heart! I'll be lying if I tell you that I'm not going to brush up on my lyrics before I catch the movie. “Oh, I just can't wait to be kiiiiiiiiiiiiing”. 5. Timon And Pumba They were, still are, and always will be my favourite set of friends/sidekicks in a Disney movie (Mushu from 'Mulan' coming in second). I mean, come on! They are basically the life of the movie and I have never seen anything like them till date in a film. From finding a half-dead Simba as a cub, to raising him and teaching him to find the joys of life, to ultimately watching him transform from their goofy friend to the mighty King of the Jungle, Timon and Pumba are the epitome of true friendship and by God, I wanted a pet pig after watching the movie back then. The new trailer that was dropped today has left nineties kid across the planet screaming. Baby Simba looks so freaking cute! It is so satisfying in every way and each and every CGI animal looks like perfection. Honestly, even if this movie had dropped when I was like 50 or something, my excitement levels would still have been the same. This movie is a representation of my glorious childhood, which I am proud to say that kids these days will never, ever get to experience, no matter how much they try. It goes without saying that 'The Lion King' is going to be a success as there is no chance of failure anywhere. The cast itself is nothing short of iconic and has my Goddess BEYONCE in it as Nala! So, all I can do now is mentally prepare myself for next year, so that I still have my sanity intact by the end of the movie, and am not left a crying, quivering, destroyed mess of a woman!

  19. One of India's best new music festivals that's quickly harbouring global acclaim is almost upon us again. Between December 14 and 16, thousands of discerning dance and electronic music fans will make the pilgrimage to the desert for the 2018 edition of Magnetic Fields being held in Alsisar Mahal, Rajasthan. These three days of festivities for many have become the only way they know how to end the year with a bang. The upcoming instalment of the festival hosts an impressive (as usual) lineup with some of the biggest and most respected names across the dance music landscape, including big shots like Midland, Daphni DJ EZ and Bicep. But the names that I'm personally even more hyped for this year are the lesser known ones. Here are 5 DJs/musicians playing at Magnetic Fields Festival 2018 that you should know, and get excited, about: 1. Shanti Celeste © Instagram Chilean born, UK based DJ and producer Shanti Celeste is acquiring great momentum right now. From playing at some of the biggest and most sacred clubs in the world, including Berghain (Berlin) and Corsica Studios (London), she has also brought her unique and off-the-wall take on house and techno to renowned festivals like Dekmantel (Netherlands) and Meadows in the Mountains (Bulgaria). As a producer, she crafts brisk, atmospheric, generally uplifting house tracks that sometimes feature her own airy vocals. As a DJ, her sets range from the sunny type of tracks she often produces to more intense, bass-heavy techno and even jungle breaks. Definitely, someone to look out for if you're heading to the festival this year. Listen to her unbelievable Boiler Room Dekmantel set here. 2. Moxie © Instagram London-born and raised Moxie wears many hats - party starter, DJ, event promoter and radio host. As a DJ, her sets traverse through fun and colourful hidden gems to moody and meditative. Moxie has forged a career that has taken her all over the world to some of the most renowned clubs, including Fabric (London), De School (Amsterdam), Concrete (Pais) and the legendary Panorama Bar (Berlin). Expect a mixed bag of house and disco goodies that will have you turning on your Shazam app every two minutes. Listen 3. Debonair © Instagram A master behind the decks, London-based Debonair's unique take on dance music is a high-octane mixture of lesser known dance music styles such as EBM, New Wave and Italo Disco, along with more straight up dance floor moving techno and classic groovy AF house. No matter what she chooses to play that night, expect a super sexy, high-energy gauntlet that will leave you sweaty and wanting more. Check out her way London Boiler Room show here. 4. Carista © Instagram “Whatever genre or music style I select there's always soul that people can connect to. But you know, it all depends on my mood too.” A real hidden gem from the Dutch club scene, Carista's eclectic selection effortlessly flows from jazz to hip-hop to heavy bass and everything in between. Innovation is the name of the game when it comes to this Dutch-Surinamese powerhouse. Carista is a versatile selector who isn't afraid to surprise the crowd whenever, wherever by doing what she does best: sharing her infectious positive energy as a human being and her distinctive taste in music with others. Check out her off the wall selection here. 5. Courtesy © Instagram Last but most definitely not least, we have the Greenland-born, Denmark-raised label owner, journalist, and young queen, Courtesy (Najaaraq Vestbirk). Courtesy's sets are as much for the head as they are for the body. Expect a mixture of heavy stomping techno, head nodding jungle breaks, slow-burning sinister EBM and euphoric synth-laden trance show stoppers. Safe to say she is definitely the one to watch and will definitely be a highlight at this year's festival. Listen to her legendary set from Dekmantel Festival here. Of course there a lot many more amazing artists that will be gracing the festival this year and you should definitely listen to all of them and familiarize yourself before you make your way to the desert. Check out the full line up here. See you at the palace!
  20. October is going to be one of the most happening months for mobile enthusiasts because we're expecting many new top-tier phones to launch. A couple of years back, March used to be filled to the brim with launches at MWC Barcelona and all the big names tried to take down one another. Samsung's S-series has established itself as a leader and all OEMs are now focusing on improving their product and launching it at the end of the year. This way, they have an edge in analysing the market trend as well as the following holiday season helps in boosting sales. This year, the hype has been more about price sensitive phones like the POCO F1, Mi A2, Vivo X21, and the Nokia 7 Plus. Now, we are looking forward to seeing the flagship phones from makers like Google, OnePlus, LG, Nokia, and Razer. 1. Google Pixel 3: Since you guys keep asking... https://t.co/DpRqzsyRem">pic.twitter.com/DpRqzsyRem — Evan Blass (@evleaks) https://twitter.com/evleaks/status/1043276447094333441?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 21, 2018 There aren't too many secrets left to share about Google's upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones. Both devices have been leaked left and right, so we know the smaller Pixel 3 will have a notch-less screen, while the larger Pixel 3 XL will have a notch on top. The Pixel 3 is expected to have a single rear camera, while the front has a dual camera setup. The Pixel 3 XL will also have a similar setup and the duo will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage. Google has started teasing or trolling, depends on your perspective, and things will go official on October 9. 2. OnePlus 6T: (c) Onleaks Continuing the same launch timeline, OnePlus has confirmed it will be launching the 6T by the third week of October. While the 'T' series phones from the company are supposed to have minor upgrades over the May flagship, rumours, and reports suggest OnePlus has some interesting new things coming up. This includes a much smaller water droplet style notch on the top, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and maybe, a triple camera setup on the back. These additions are sure to offend quite a lot of OnePlus 6 buyers, not just because a new and better flagship has been launched within 6 months, but because they are also removing the 3.5mm headphone jack. Yes, OnePlus intends to go the Apple way. 3. The Mystery 4X Samsung: (c) Samsung Honestly, this is the phone I'm personally most excited about. The core reason being, Samsung has managed to keep the lid on, and everything we've heard about it so far is extremely unreliable. This is how phone launches are actually supposed to be, exciting, not leaked multiple times again and again. As far as the details are concerned, we are guessing it'll have a 4-camera setup on the rear. A much bigger guess can be a foldable phone, but that's a very big if. Samsung will be making everything official on October 11. 4. Razer Phone 2: (c) Twitter Razer too has scheduled a launch, nicely fitting between Google and Samsung. We know the new phone will be focused on gaming, (obviously!) and will also have a dual camera setup on the rear. Leaked renders of the phone suggest it will have sharp edges and slim bezels too. The Razer logo on the back will be glowing, and the phone will have a 6-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. We are also pretty sure the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC and will be backed by a 4500mAh battery. The phone will be launched on October 10. 5. Huawei Mate 20: Twitter / @rquandt The Mate series is typically the larger version of Huawei's flagship smartphone ranges, and this year's Mate 20 will feature the new Kirin 980 platform and make its debut on 16 October at an event in London. The Mate 20 series will continue with the premium design found on the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, though it is likely to adopt waterproofing and the notch design of the P20 and P20 Pro. ReplyForward
  21. We were at Gamescom last week and got to see Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay behind closed doors, before it was made available for the public. The game looked ready to us, at least in the demo we got to see. You would start with a create-your-own character menu where you would customise your character. © CDProjekt RED The demo began with V, heading out to a gang hideout with our partner in crime Jackie. After a tense conversation, the mission escalates into a firefight. The gameplay showed off the gunplay of Cyberpunk 2077 where it was deeply rooted as a role-playing game. We were then given a mission to retrieve a spider looking drone from the Maelstrom gang. We got a glimpse at the astonishing visuals of Night City and the attention to detail CDprojekt Red is known for. © CDProjekt RED The gameplay is now ready for everyone to see and game director Adam Badowski said with the release of the gameplay, "What we're releasing today was recorded from a game deep in development, Since many of the assets and mechanics in the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 are most likely to be modified, we initially decided to show this gameplay only to media. Elements like gunplay (both in terms of visuals and how RPG stats influence it), not running, car physics, or the game's UI--everything's pretty much still in the playtest phase and we felt uneasy about publicly committing to any particular design." © CDProjekt RED “Animation glitches, work-in-progress character facial expressions, early versions of locations--all this made us hesitant to release what you're about to see. However, we are also well aware that many of you want to see what the media saw. Although this is probably not the same game you'll see on your screen when we launch, we still decided to share this 48-minute video with you. This is how Cyberpunk 2077 looks today. Let us know what you think!” he said. © CDProjekt RED The released gameplay may give you a glimpse of the game, as there were a few things that were shown to us and are not a part of the video. We, the audience, were given the choice to choose the gender of the character. In the create-your-character section, we could also choose a backstory and our childhood hero. Along with a range of weapons shown in the video, CDProjekt Red chose not to show what they showed us. Apart from being a shooter, our character could also use a katana with special abilities to hack off enemies. The sword, when held in the parry position, was capable of generating a force field around us that deflected bullets and projectiles. When we were done with the full demo, I was just staring at the blank screen with my mouth wide open. That's how good it looked! In my head, I gave the game a 10/10 after what I just witnessed. It was and probably will be the best game I have seen at Gamescom or maybe even 2018. If you want to see the gameplay for yourself, you can always watch the demo below:

  24. If you have already been testing the Android P Beta or are waiting for the new Operating System; you may be interested to know that Google could be less than three weeks away from releasing Android P officially. Evan Blass, the ever-so-reliable leaker said that Android P is coming to a smartphone store near you on August 20. He basically tweeted a picture of the August calendar with a green 'P' slapped on August 20th. pic.twitter.com/ovby4pC3ph — Evan Blass (@evleaks) August 2, 2018 The timing is in-line with Google's previous releases as the company typically launches the new major update before summer ends. Android Oreo was launched on August 21 last year and it seems like Blass' prediction looks accurate. © YouTube Android P was officially shown off by Google at the annual IO developer conference in May. The new update has some key highlights i.e. smarter battery use, navigational gestures and App actions that add task shortcuts based on usage patterns. Google will also be adding other features that focus on a user's well being. The new update will tell users about their usage patterns and help in spending less time on their smartphone. Apple has also added a similar feature called “Screen Time” which essentially does the same job. © Google When the new update officially rolls, you can expect Google to bring the update to its Pixel smartphones first. Other Android devices should get the Android P update shortly after. Google will launch the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL with the new Operating System out of the box. The only thing remaining is the official name of the update. Rumours suggest that the next update will be called Pistachio Ice Cream or just Pistachio. Whatever the name will be, we will soon know what it will be called and find out more details about its availability.
