The Omicron variant of Coronavirus is gradually spreading across the country.  

A few days back Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora had tested positive for COVID-19. 

According to a report, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and her husband Karan Boolani have tested COVID-19 positive as well. 

A few hours back, Rhea took to her Instagram account and confirmed that she and her husband have tested COVID-19 positive and are currently under quarantine. She wrote, “Yes I'm positive for covid in spite of being super careful. But this is the nature of the pandemic."

She further added, “Not sure why my or anyone's private health information is news or gossip. This information should be only for government and medical bodies so they can do their job and not on gossip sites. It's invasive and weird. My husband and I are isolating and taking all prescribed medications and precautions.”

Later, a video also surfaced that showed BMC officials reaching Arjun and Anshula’s house for sanitisation. 

Reacting to the news of Arjun, Rhea and others testing COVID-19 positive. Many social media users showed concern and sent them get well soon wishes. There were also a few who trolled the celebs alleging they were partying. 

One user wrote, “#SonamKapoor's sister #RheaKapoor, actor #ArjunKapoor and his sister #AnshulaKapoor test #Covid positive. The bollywood party culture must be stopped now. #COVID19 #Omicron”. 

Another tweeted, “Woke up to this news & felt really sad and bad..!! Pls TakeCare @arjunk26 n Get Well Soon This too shall pass! Sending u love n blessings to face it strongly & Get back to ur shoot soon #ArjunKapoor”. 

Another tweet read, “#ArjunKapoor Thank God corona does not believe in nepotism .get well soon Arjun and please leaave acting,bollywood and dont do careless parties like yesterday.” 

One person commented, “We pray for ur speedy recovery. No matter what as a human we should always pray for everyones good health.” There were also a lot of people who asked for Malaika to be tested as well.
