It's just the beginning of 2022, and it looks as if Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has already mapped out the kind of movies he wants to do to get a good start.

As you already know, Ranbir will finally be seen in his much-awaited film Brahmastra alongside his girlfriend Alia Bhatt.

The movie has been the talk of the town for years, and will finally hit the theatres this year. Moreover, it will be a proper star affair as it will have Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, in even Shah Rukh Khan in a big cameo role.

This pretty much guarantees that Ranbir's film will honestly have a good turnout in theatres or even OTT platforms later on.

However, other than that, it looks like Ranbir is also coming out with his new film called Animal, which will be helmed by none other than Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

As per reports, Animal will be a gangster drama film which will be unlike any other film made in a space like that before.

As per reports, Animal will deal with turbulent relationships between all the characters and how it has a chain reaction to the lead protagonist Ranbir becoming an animal in true nature.

The movie, which is set to release next year, will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Vanga.

Ranbir is also set to star alongside Shraddha Kapoor in Luv Ranjan's rom-com film.

Earlier, Bhushan Kumar spoke to Pinkvilla about both the films and even likened Animal to Kabir Singh. “We have started a Ranbir Kapoor film with Luv Ranjan and then, there’s another film that we are doing with him called Animal. It’s directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and we begin shooting in March. Animal will be like what Kabir Singh was. One relatable story that happens in our society with Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in lead,” said Bhushan.

Looks like Bollywood is coming out with the big guns soon!
