On the day 1 of IPL Auction 2022, auctioneer Hugh Edmeades suddenly collapsed on-stage while in the middle of an event leaving everyone present at the venue shocked. 

The auction was temporarily halted white aid was provided to Hugh Edmeades. It was later revealed that he had collapsed due to postural hypotension and is doing fine now. Hugh was replaced by Charu Sharma who conducted the auction for the remainder of the day. 

Among many attendees, the auction was also attended by Kolkata Knight Riders’ co-owner Shah Rukh Khan’s kids Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan. The two were spotted seated alongside Kolkata Knight Riders’ co-owner Juhi Chawla’s daughter Janhavi Mehta.

Soon after the incident, a video surfaced online and immediately went viral. In the video, the shocked reaction of Suhana was captured at the exact moment when Hugh collapsed. Aryan, on the other hand, can also be seen a bit tensed while he tries to check if the auctioneer is fine.

After the day one of the event came to an end, Juhi Chawla took to Twitter to share a picture of her daughter along with Aryan and Suhana and wrote, “Welcoming our KKR  players, Shreyas Iyer, Pat Cummins, Nitish Rana & our bunch of young owners Aryan, Suhana and Jahnavi ..!!! Thank you Venky and allllll our KKR staff  .Super grateful and Super happy …!! #AryanKhan #SuhanaKhan #JahnaviMehta”.

Last year as well, Juhi had shared a similar tweet when her Jahnavi and Aryan had attended the IPL auction 2021. She then tweeted, “So happy to see both the KKR kids, Aryan and Jahnavi at the Auction table .. ”

A day before the IPL auction, Aryan & Suhana were also spotted at the pre-IPL auction event. The pictures of the duo had gone viral on social media as this was Aryan’s first public appearance after his drug case for which he was arrested, last year.
