6 Girls & 5 Pairs Of Legs Optical Illusion Has Left People Baffled; Here's The Explanation

If there is one thing the internet loves the most then it is arguably optical illusions.

Over the years, a lot of pictures have gone viral on social media that have left users around the world baffled and confused.

Back in 2016, a picture of 6 girls sitting on a couch had gone viral. The catch was there were five pairs of legs.

Now, six years later, the same picture has once again resurfaced online and has left people scratching their heads.

Reacting to the illusion, one user wrote, “The second girls legs are behind first girls legs. I think.”

Another wrote, “Left to right, #1, #2, #3, #4 Number 1 has her legs crossed, no tear in the knee. Number 2 has only one leg visible, the tear is in her knee. Those legs are blending together. (Follow that tear down, there's a split where there's a sock on the right and not on the left. Number 2 has a tear in her knee and a visible white sock) Numbers 2 and 3 are leaning waaay over. It's easier to visualize if you picture #3 with her hand on the seat behind #4's back to hold herself up.”

One comment read, “I feel like they just left a space and photoshopped a friend into the picture.”

According to the Business Insider, the girl sitting on the third spot from the left is leaning towards the right and in fact, the second pair of legs from the left that you see belong to her.

This leaves the second girl from the left without legs but in reality, she is wearing a black jeans that is blending in with the colour of the couch and her legs are hidden behind the first girl from the left.
