This Samsung Phone Just Survived A 1000 Foot Fall And We Are Shook

You know that heart-in-your-mouth moment when your phone falls to the ground?

Off it goes, right from your hands or your pocket, landing on the ground or sometimes even in places where you'd never want your phone to be in (read: the commode). It happens to the best of us.

But have you ever wondered what it'd be like to throw away your beloved phone from an airplane and exactly how many pieces it would shatter in? Turns out, a man from Tennessee, “decided” to perform this elaborate experiment.

Well, almost.

A few days ago, Blake Henderson was trying to make a video of an airplane passing by, with the windows of his own plane wide open. (Because that's what everybody does on a plane, right?)

However, it didn't exactly go as planned. Blake's filmmaking skills had to take a back seat when his phone appeared to have been sucked out of his hand and obviously, pulled down by gravity. What happened next is something you'd have to brace yourself for.

The phone touched the ground, in somebody's garden, without breaking into a gazillion pieces.

What's even more absurd? It was working so well that it recorded the whole thing while it happened. At least this is what this video posted by Blake's nephew Robert Ryan, is trying to portray:

According to the video, the “miracle” phone managed to record the following conversation between two men, who were mowing the garden, till one of them discovers the phone:

“Oops, here's your phone.”

“Whoa, how the hell did it get down there? This ain't my phone,” says the other guy.

“Oh, it ain't?”

“Nah, mine's in my pocket.”

“It's got recording on, too,” says the first guy.

They decided to keep the recording on for a while and later, returned the phone to its rightful owner.

Sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? The internet community sure has its concerns.

The comments section of this YouTube video have been bombarded with questions and doubts from people all over the world.

The possibility of this being a promotional stunt by Samsung is also not being ruled out.

But the question is, why would Samsung use such an old model for promotion? What purpose does it even serve?

We definitely can't make up our minds and we don't even believe our eyes!
