Mark Zuckerberg Plans On Taking A 2-Month Paternity Leave After The Birth Of His Second Daughter

Being the CEO of Facebook, one of the world's most valuable and influential corporations, Mark Zuckerberg is bound to be an extremely busy man. But, he still understands what's more important. Keeping his priorities in check, he said that he plans on taking a two-month paternity leave after the birth of his second daughter, just like he did when his daughter, Max, was born.

“I will always be grateful I could spend so much time with her in the first months of her life,” Zuckerberg wrote on Facebook. “Our new daughter is coming soon, and I'm planning to take two months of paternity leave again.”

This is an incredibly important step in setting an example to show how important it is for parents to spend the first months with their newborns.

Because of their paternity leave policy, Facebook has been named one of the best places for new dads to work. The company offers four months of paternity and maternity leave because “because studies show that when working parents take time to be with their new-borns, it's good for the entire family.”

This caption was accompanied by an adorable picture of his daughter Max wearing a backpack and reaching for a doorknob, next to the family dog, Beast. He wrote, “I'm looking forward to bonding with our new little one and taking Max on adventures.” Well, sure looks completely ready to go an adventure.
