Oliver Thomas Johnson, or more famously known as Dorian Concept, is a composer, producer, and keyboard artist from Austria. Along with his successful solo career, he is also a member of the Austrian funk band Jacob's Salty and Bamboozling Ladder (JSBL). He also has periodically toured as a keyboarder for Flying Lotus (with Richard Spaven on drums) and collaborated with the Cinematic Orchestra.

Johnson, who took up his moniker as a reference to the Dorian scale, cites jazz, funk, electronica and  hip-hop as his primary influences. He has developed his own unique sound and perfectly combines jazz with abstract electronica harmonics.

After the EP ‘Her Tears Taste Like Pears’, he abandoned his signature use of the Mikrokorg and started working with a Wurlitzer electronic piano along with some analogue synthesizers. For his album ‘Joined Ends’, he revealed a drastically different side of himself and his music and let go of his repetitive beat-making to focus on his intuition and his keyboard skills.
