From making a living by stealing cars to a glamourous career in modelling, this is a rags to riches story like no other!

This is Mekhi Atlante Lucky.

The 20-year-old was a seasoned thief, who had been associated with criminal activities for a long time, with his offences ranging from speeding in a stolen vehicle to alleged assault on a female to breaking and entering, and resisting a public officer. He was arrested about five times between April and December last year.

But, seems like Lucky is indeed quite lucky, as he has been given another chance to redeem himself. Someone came across his mugshot and shared it, and soon went viral across all social media platforms. He became quite an internet sensation with his square jaw and duo-coloured eyes.

He wasn't just getting attention from a large social media audience, but the fashion world was also smitten by his raw features. Not only did he escape jailtime, but thanks to his good looks, he is now signed to a modelling agency.

Signed to the Atlanta-based St Claire's Modelling Agency, he has already been featured in some high-end fashion shoots.
