Akshay Kumarandamprsquos Angry Rant About Bengaluru Mass Molestation Is The Most Hard-Hitting Take On The Case
The Bengaluru mass molestation case has yet again exposed the ugly face of Indian society. While most of the country has unanimously condemned the incident, there have been some people like SP leader Abu Azmi who have laid the blame on women and made derogatory statements like “If there’s sugar somewhere, ants will come.”

While celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Varun Dhawan and Aamir Khan have openly condemned the shameful act and criticized Abu Azmi’s take on it,
Women should not dress like westerners b'coz men dressed like westerners are molesters, says the man in the shirt.#oxy(deprived)morons
— Farhan Akhtar (@FarOutAkhtar) January 3, 2017Argggh how this angers me.Sir punish the criminals not the victims. Women can wear what they want it's their choice. https://t.co/HSpRjlRq8A
— Varun Dhawan (@Varun_dvn) January 3, 2017Narendrabhai the power of the youth is double edged it can go either way. You need to address it immediately @narendramodi @PMOIndia
— Salim Khan (@luvsalimkhan) January 3, 2017Its a shame what the youth have done in Bngluru.Such acts are happning rptdly all ovr.We were also young once bt nvr have such things happnd
— Salim Khan (@luvsalimkhan) January 3, 2017The most hard-hitting reaction has come from the khiladi of Bollywood himself – Akshay Kumar.
The Bangalore incident makes me feel we r evolving backwards, from humans to animals, rather beasts coz even animals are better!Truly shameful pic.twitter.com/FJwJ80Mkby
— Akshay Kumar (@akshaykumar) January 5, 2017Akshay’s angry rant drives home the point – it is never the clothes or the time or location that’s responsible for sexual assault. The only thing responsible for an assault is the perpetrator’s intention. Akshay minces no words to express his anger and frustration over the beastly act. Confessing that the news of the mass molestation case made his blood boil, he says, the society that can’t respect its women, has no right to call itself a humane society. He doesn’t hold back when he says there are some people who dare to justify a sexual assault by citing what the woman was wearing or at what time she was out at night.
