'Pokémon' Gets A Gory & Brutal Horror Parody That Looks Better Than Stephen King's 'It'

In our growing years, Pokémon was one of our favourite video games and cartoon shows. The sadistic pleasure we got from catching the likes of Pikachu, Snorlax, Squirtle or Charmander was beyond every other feeling in the world and the popularity of the augmented reality game, Pokémon Go only established the same. However, looks like Pikachu and Charmander weren't too happy with our actions, so they started attacking and terrorizing the world. Too much cuteness is a bad thing I guess!

What happens when a global outbreak of these seemingly harmless Pokémons reaches apocalyptic proportions? The world looks up to its long lost hero, Ash Ketchum. This is the premise of this parody movie which recreates horror like no one else. Honestly, even voodoo dolls or 'Annabelle' can't scare the shit out of you like the way Pikachu does in this 3-minute clip.

Set in America where Pokémons are attacking innocent people and wrecking havoc with their monstrous activities; Ash Ketchum, who is now all grown up and retired, takes up this one last job to save Americans from this massive outbreak.

While as a kid, Ash would have just “caught em all”, but with age he realized that he won't be able to stop them with his 'balls' alone. So he taps his inner hunter and sets out on a gruesome and bloody mission where he mercilessly kills them all. Although we did feel that he wasted some bullets and his energy, his cringe-worthy one-liners would have done the job as well. For instance, after killing Charmander with a fire extinguisher, he smirks and says, “Smoking kills” and while trying to kill Haunter with a cross he shouts “Pokémon Go to Hell”.

While he was busy killing Pokémons, we couldn't help but curse him for killing such innocent creatures, getting their blood on his classic outfit. However, it was only with Pikachu's appearance that we got a hint of why people considered them dangerous. Created by 'Funny or Die', this sketch features Blake Jenner as Ash Ketchum and although they have 'white-washed' the entire cast to make it look more American, we aren't complaining because their story-plot fills all those loopholes with perfection.

Honestly, if this bizarre turn of events does not pull you into the world of Pokémons, we wonder what will. With 2017 looming heavily on the horror genre, this parody ticks all the boxes of gore, brutality, bloodcurdling scenes and cringe-worthy humour; thus becoming one of the most epic parodies of all time.
