Barack Obama Revealed He Knows How To Cook Daal, But Chapati... Not So Much

Along with being a brilliant President and one of the most respected political leaders in the entire world, Barack Obama has time and again proved how funny and relatable he actually is. He is the coolest President the USA ever had, and he for sure knows it, and fully embraces it.

Actually, the biggest proof of him being the best President ever is when he literally posted a meme of himself and Joe Biden to wish him a happy birthday.

ME:  Joe, about halfway through the speech, I'm gonna wish you a happy birth--
BIDEN:  IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!
ME:  Joe.

Happy birthday to @JoeBiden, my brother and the best vice president anybody could have. pic.twitter.com/sKbXjNiEjH

A President that keeps up with memes. What more do you want?

The former President opened the day two of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2017 in New Delhi today, and while talking about PM Narendra Modi and US-India relations, he made the biggest revelation ever.

He probably won every Indian's heart when he talked about how good of a chef he is, especially when it comes to Indian food. He revealed that he knew the recipe of daal, even taking pride in being the only US president to know it. He said, “I'm pretty sure I'm the first US president to have the dal recipe.”

He explained that he learned this 'super-secret' recipe from an Indian roommate, back when he was a student. 'Chef Obama' also added that daal is not the only thing he knows how to cook: “My keema is also excellent... my chicken is okay.”

But, one thing he hasn't been able to master yet is the dreaded chapati. He said, ”Ah, no, making a chapati is too hard.”

It's okay, Obama, chapatis are actually very hard to make, we all can relate.

There is another interesting part of the summit that is worth mentioning – his sly dig at Donald Trump and his love for Twitter.

When journalist Karan Thapar asked Obama, “Donald Duck or Donald Trump, which represents America,” the former US president said, “The cacophony of America is what I love about the country. The political trends are a thread of life. One of the joys and frustrations about America is that it can be contradictory. We can be kind and cruel. I think it's the same with India.”

And, now comes the shade: “I use punctuation in my text... I have more Twitter followers than some people who use it more often.”

Well, he probably did this in his mind after that.
