Ranveer Singh is one of the most incredible actors in the tinsel town. Over the time, the actor has proved that nothing is impossible for him and he is displaying a certain knack for taking on versatile roles. 

It has become a norm that every time his film releases, people can't stop praising his versatility. And now, the country just can't stop gushing over his portrayal of invader Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat'. 

While Ranveer is enjoying every bit of this moment, what made it even more special was a handwritten letter that he received from the legendary Amitabh Bachchan appreciating his performance.  

Well, we totally get how any actor would feel to receive a priceless gift like that. Taking to Twitter, the talented actor shared the picture of the flower and letter sent to him by Big B and wrote, “mera award mil gaya @SrBachchan.”

Ranveer is a huge fan of Amitabh and his fondness for him is known to all, and with a present like this from an icon, one can only imagine how the young actor must be feeling. Even in the past, he has sent across personal notes to actors whose performances he has loved. He has sent notes to Kangana Ranaut for 'Queen' and 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' and even to Deepika Padukone for 'Ram Leela Goliyon Ki Raasleela'.

One can totally imagine how delighted Ranveer must have felt when he received that note from Amitabh himself. The actor already considers it his first award. 

We bet if you have watched the film, you will totally love him as the Delhi Sultan who is gruesome, diplomatic and loves to conquer. But to get into that mode, Ranveer underwent a brutal mental ordeal and went into a dark abyss to reach that level of perfection.  

One look at his performance and you just know that he deserves all the veneration there is.
