It's peaceful and a moment of pure solitude for everyone, but pushing that time to its limit can be extremely dangerous, and this one guy learned it the hard way.

When a Chinese man went to the toilet one evening, I'm pretty sure he did not see his night ending with a visit to the hospital, but life – and your poops, apparently – are unpredictable. The guy rushed to a hospital at around midnight after noticing that a mysterious ball-sized lump had fallen out of his butt. *horrified screams* 

Reportedly, that mysterious lump was his rectum and it fell out after losing its attachment to his body. The condition that this guy suffered from – rectal prolapse – was most probably caused because he was sitting on the toilet for over 30 minutes. *horrified screams continue*

Okay, let's continue with one of the most bizarre news story of all time. The man said that he was playing video games while pooping. When he felt something protruding from his anus, he immediately called for help and was soon taken to a hospital. There, the doctors had to operate on him to remove it. 

Dr Su said, “The patient had rectal prolapse since he was four years old, the bulge was able to retract. But he did not treat the condition and the situation has got worse.”

As if his rectum falling out wasn't enough, the doctor also said that the poor guy also bruising and cuts along his intestinal wall. I honestly feel really bad for him, but he's okay now, he's recovering. 

And, as for the rest of you lot, don't spend too much time in the bathroom, do you really want to end up in the emergency room and then have to explain that “I sat on the toilet for too long so my rectum decided to leave me.”?
