In Another Win The Indian Navy Successfully Test-Fired A Missile From The First Built-In-India Scorpene Submarine

The Kalvari can carry up to 18 torpedoes and travel 1,020 kms underwater. The Lkalvari is a part of Project 75, under which the Indian Navy was authorized to build six submarines in collaboration with French firm DCNS. The last submarine to be built in India was actually commissioned to the Navy and was called Shankul.  The other 5 submarines will roll-out in the following nine months.  More specifications of the Submarine are still to be revealed.
