After Being The Centre Of Attention Last Night, DK Becomes The Centre Of Attention On Twitter

There's only one person that the entire nation can seem to talk about right now and it's none other than Dinesh Karthik, after he led India to victory against Bangladesh last night.

India needed 34 runs in the last two overs to win, and it was Dinesh Karthik's pyrotechnics that helped India win the Nidahas Trophy 2018. Yay!

Nothing brings everyone in India together like cricket, and obviously desi people on Twitter. After the match, the portal was instantly flooded with jokes and memes, like always. Also, remember the hilarious 'Naagin Dance' meme that was floating around a few days ago? During a match, Bangladesh's Mushfiqur Rahim celebrated with an impromptu 'Naagin Dance' after defeating Sri Lanka,  but now people are giving it back after India's victory.

From 'DK Bose' memes, to hilarious jibes at the infamous 'Naagin Dance', Twitter had everything.

But, let's start with Virender Sehwag's tweet, because it deserves a special mention.

Wow! What a win. 2 overs , 34 runs to win the finals ,  #DineshKarthik pic.twitter.com/lGJgxdMoT7

Role reversal?

In mythology, Shankar was the father of Kartik.

In cricket, Karthik exchanged the roles with Shankar. #INDvBAN

This is exactly how it happened.

True.

MS Dhoni Or Dinesh Karthik Is Temporary. Bangladesh Getting Trolled On Last Ball Of The Match By Indian Wicket-keepers Is Permanent. Congrats Team India ðªð #DineshKarthik #INDvBAN #INDvsBAN #BANvsIND #NidahasTrophy pic.twitter.com/0ZXvdKr4ct
