Margaret Neale Shows How To Be A Good Negotiator & Her Tips Are A Life Saver For Your Appraisals

Margaret Neale,  an Adams Distinguished Professor of Management at Stanford University, believes that negotiating is problem-solving and that's one of the basic foundational rules that you need to know if you are going to be sitting for this year's appraisal cycle.

Negotiations, by nature, are hard. But the goal is not always to strike a deal but to 'aim for a good deal' as Margaret says. The basic tenets of achieving success in any negotiation remain the same: assess, prepare, ask and package. This, however, does not always guarantee success because the circumstances do play a major part in any successful negotiation.

This talk by Neale will open up a whole new world of possibilities for you, if you find it hard to put your point across the table when it comes to negotiations for salary or appraisals. Just watch the video below and follow her advice!
