Yesterday was Sachin Tendulkar's birthday. The 'God of Indian Cricket' turned 45 this year and we know what y'all are wondering right now. “We all know that, it is stale news.” “Hahaha, Admin! You're late.” Well, we aren't late; we wished him yesterday and so did the team Mumbai Indians in their own ummm…iconic style.

On one hand where Tendulkar was probably busy thanking his friends and fans for their lovely wishes, Mumbai Indians on the other hand were struggling to hit sixes and fours in a match that was being touted to be a tribute to Sachin on his birthday. Sadly, despite winning the toss, the match turned into an, for the lack of a better word, 'anti-tribute' for Sachin. 

Mumbai Indians scored 87 last night (setting a new record of the lowest score for any team in this year's IPL) and lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad by 31 runs. Can we just leave it at that, because adding words like 'terrible performance ever' or 'disappointing match' will only add more salt to the wounded team and the butt-hurt IPL fans!
