For someone who's a sports-enthusiast and a stylish one at that, denim makes for a major part of his life — the world's most versatile and practical fabric. The idea is simple, whether you're on the field or at a luncheon, the importance of a comfortable (yet terrific) menswear move is vital. Globally worn in endless variants and multiple forms on every body type, since denim is a breakthrough flex to consider anyway, 22-year-old Indian Gunveet Singh Dang too, hardly begs to differ here. Only difference? His faith in the fabric is a hell lot more, that he calls denim his best-est friend in life (even his 2 AM buddy).

Your first ever denim purchase?

A denim shirt! And well, it still has a place in my closet and is undoubtedly, the best denim piece I've owned till date. 

What's your relationship with denim?

I think we're best friends; it has always had my back (even at the last minute).

Denim or food?

Eating food while wearing jeans. Sounds fair, doesn't it?

Does slipping into denim depend upon your mood?

I think, the best part about slipping into denim, is that it doesn't depend upon a particular mood. You can wear it at any time, anywhere, regardless of your state of mind.

Dark wash or light wash jeans?

Light wash; it compliments my penchant for light/pastel colours better.

How often do you wash your jeans?

Every week, once I'm done wearing them at least 3-4 times.

Ripped or distressed?

Distressed!

Three must-have denim pieces for men?

Light wash jeans, a pair of shorts and a denim shirt (to use as jacket) in the face of summer layering. 

How do you take denim from AM to PM?

Simply throw on a jacket in the evening, irrespective of the kind of jeans you're wearing.

Since I'm into the manufacturing of fabric anyway, I'm all for style experiments in life. As for denim, yes, I once tried throwing in some patchwork on my jeans.

A denim memory you can never forget...

I had recently starting chatting up with a girl on Instagram and decided to take her out on a date to a music concert. Not to forget, we also decided that we'd go pre-drinking before eading to the venue. Of course, things went exactly as planned. Until, we reached the concert arena and I was parking my car, and she decided to puke all over my jeans. Now, we all know how that ended (no pun intended).
