PM Modi's Morning Fitness Video Is The Best Thing You'll See All Day

PM Modi, after nominating a plethora of Indian celebrities to come and join the 'fit India movement', has finally taken the challenge himself. Modi released the video on twitter this morning.

Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice
breathing exercises. #HumFitTohIndiaFit pic.twitter.com/km3345GuV2

In the video, PM Modi is seen doing a mix of multiple exercises, mostly walking and inspired by five elements of nature – Earth, water, fire, air and sky.

A lot of people had criticised PM Modi for not taking up the fitness challenge even though he had nominated a lot of Indian celebrities including Virat Kohli for the same. Even though he has now finally taken up the challenge, twitter wasn't too impressed.

This is how our first Prime Minister Nehru ji performed yoga. This should be #FitnessChallenge pic.twitter.com/qZMGovpybY

How fit is our country? Crime, internal conflict, political terror, external threats, terrorism and so on cost us 9% of our GDP. To give perspective- India lost over a trillion PPP dollars because of all this. #FitnessChallenge, #fitnesschallange, #fitIndia. pic.twitter.com/rSyXyGD92J

The PM also nominated Karnataka's Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and tennis player Manika Batra along with the entire IPS fraternity to take up the fitness challenge.

I am delighted to nominate the following for the #FitnessChallenge:

Karnataka's CM Shri @hd_kumaraswamy.

India's pride and among the highest medal winners for India in the 2018 CWG, @manikabatra_TT.

The entire fraternity of brave IPS officers, especially those above 40.

While Manika Batra happily accepted the challenge, H D Kumaraswamy politely declined on twitter.

Dear @narendramodi ji
