Mumbai Police Making A '13 Reasons Why' Meme Is Creating More Awareness Than The Show Ever Did

Remember that not-so-popular Netflix show? What was it called again? 9 reasons why? No, wait, '13 Reasons Why!

The Mumbai Police was gracious enough to use the show's reference in a recent post of theirs, and now I can expect the show's numbers to see a spike. The makers of the show should really thank the Mumbai Police for the free marketing, as they finally got the push to become mainstream in India.

Mumbai Police Gave Us '13 Reasons Why' They're The Coolest

Just kidding, but really though, the Mumbai Police's meme game is on point and I say that almost every day. After all, good work and content need to be appreciated.

Yesterday, the best official police/meme account on Twitter released a hilarious PSA about how to deal with all the 'hey dear' creeps on the internet and now they're making memes using '13 Reasons Why'. What a range they have, man! They're just so damn impressive.

Coming back to '13 Reasons Why', remember how Hannah used to call Clay 'helmet' because he always wore one while riding his bike? Well, the Mumbai Police saw the word 'helmet' and just ran with it. Pop culture references are the best way to get people to do anything, anyway.

Giving everyone #AllReasonsToWearHelmet, they used a gif of Hannah calling Clay 'helmet' saying that if anyone calls you that, it's a big compliment, you know, since you're being so safe.

There's no reasons why  you should not, because they must be really trusting you if they call you 'Helmet' #AllReasonsToWearHelmet pic.twitter.com/E0v4vOEuzI

I've said it before and I will say it again – GIVE THE PERSON RUNNING THIS ACCOUNT A GODDAMN WELL-DESERVED RAISE!

Also, can we start a campaign to find this person? Just imagine how LIT their personal Twitter would be!

This obviously got reactions, just like every tweet by them and this person right below echoes my sentiments.

The person behind this account needs a raise.. ð
