The 'Boss' in question is Ranveer's director, Mr. Rohit Shetty, who is fully in his element right now. They are shooting for 'Simmba', and Ranveer clearly has done something that pleased Rohit so much, that he went ahead and got him this awesome early birthday present. The watch in question is a 'Franck Muller Vanguard Automatic', that costs around INR 6,00,000.

Ranveer is ecstatic, too. In an Instagram post, he said "Ecstatic!!! An early birthday present from The Boss! Quite easily the sexiest watch I've ever had!
