Aquaman's First Trailer Just Proved Talking To Fish Isn't That Bad A Superpower

When I thought of Aquaman, I just thought of Vincent Chase wearing that godawful orange suit as he took on the role in the James Cameron directed movie on the show 'Entourage'. But, that happened a long time ago.

Now, instead of Adrian Grenier playing the superhero in a movie that never even existed, we have a super badass Aquaman with his own movie coming out this year.

The Jason Momoa starring superhero movie by DC will release towards the end of this year and that's a long wait, but the first trailer just dropped and well, going by that, it'll surely be worth it. `

Let's dive into the incredible trailer, shall we? (Yes, pun totally intended)

It starts with somewhat of an origin story about the birth of Arthur Curry aka Aquaman and then him realizing his superpowers as a kid. Then, obviously there's a twist, a Thor style twist where he has to battle his own brother for the control of the underwater world. His half-brother Orm is about to declare war on the surface world and he's the only one who can stop him.

Aquaman is not interested in leading anyone but after the 'worst pep talk' by Mera, played by Amber Heard, he knows what he has to do, save the freaking world; obviously, after all it's a superhero movie.

With out of this world visuals to Jason Momoa turning a character turning a character that was a laughing stock for the longest time into something so cool, this movie is totally worth looking forward to. Maybe it will be the saving grace DC needs after 'Justice League'.

Along with Jason Momoa and Amber Heard, the movie stars Nicole Kidman as the mother of Aquaman and Patrick Wilson as his warmongering half-brother Orm.
