Aamir Khan wowed the audience when he took up the role of ACP Rathod in 'Sarfarosh'. From the script to the stellar acting and even the songs of this superbly done movie were a major hit. Aamir won hearts as the emotionally vulnerable IPS officer.

While it has taken over two decades of wait for all the fans, it seems like a sequel to 'Sarfarosh' is finally happening! However, as per the recent reports in Mid Day, John Abraham might be seen as ACP Rathod and not Aamir Khan.

Apparently the director John Matthew Matthan has approached John for the role and the sequel will now focus on the whole Naxal movement in the country. "Abraham and Matthan are in advance talks for the film. The sequel will revolve around the Naxal movement and red corridor in India. The first instalment touched upon this topic in passing. There is a possibility that it will take off from there”.  The director hasn't confirmed or denied the reports as it is still in the scripting stage at the moment.  Whatever the story might be, we can't wait for the movie to roll out soon. John Abraham is currently in a very good stage of his career and has been getting rave reviews for his recent acting in 'Parmanu'.
