He was broke, she was rich, he was still struggling, while she was already a successful model. She even paid for the cabs he used to take when he came to meet her! His entire struggle of building a life was driven by pure love. Anil knew that he had to be successful in order to marry the woman of his dreams. 

Their romance started with a phone call and still goes on, even after being together for 45 years.
