MXP Body Love: Actor Sahil Salathia Answers 7 Intimate Questions About His Awesome Physique

In 'MXP Body Love', we ask people with amazing bodies the key questions about how to achieve, maintain, and basically take care of our bodies in the best way possible, while seeking their guidance on the same.

While we want to know hacks on seemingly superficial topics such as how to look good without clothes, we also want to delve deep and discuss bigger issues such as body positivity, acceptance, how to deal with insecurities, and also how to move past difficulties and strive to reach the best version of oneself.

Our 'Body Love' expert here is actor Sahil Salathia, who answers 7 intimate questions about his physique.

    1. One Food You Should Never, Ever Eat?

To be honest, try and avoid sugar and junk as much as you can. Keep your one or two cheat meals in place every week but don't make a habit of consuming sugar and/or junk every other day.

Personally, I even avoid white rice completely. I have replaced white rice in my diet with quinoa. I have even found a substitute for wheat chapatis in 'naachni roti'. These small changes in your diet go a long way and once you form a habit of them, life seems super normal, unless you are a Bengali and just can't live without rice haha!

Btw, I love Bengali fish curry with white rice. That is my ultimate food fetish. Hence, I am going to marry a Bengali girl who can make me fish curry every now and then. Rest of the time, I'll cook quinoa and 'naachni roti' for the two of us.

    2. The One Body Part You Should Never Ignore When It Comes To Workout?

For me, it's legs and chest. As Indian men, we love huge shoulders and that's it, we stop there. Most of us then look like some strange species that has legs made of paper and shoulders of steel. It's very important to have a body that's proportionate and not out of order when you look at it from head to toe.

Plus, having strong legs automatically helps you in building a strong core. Chest happens to be my personal favourite body part to work on. I like it tight and toned and not so huge. Lean is in, and rightfully so!

    3. Natural Fuzz Vs. Waxed/Trimmed Body Hair?

I would say it depends on my mood. Sometimes, I like to look like an animal that is not really into fixing body hair. And then, that guy with that trimmed body hair is also me!

I prefer trimming body hair though because it's definitely more hygienic and weather-friendly in a city like Bombay, where I currently live. Waxing is a major no for me. It hurts, man, I have been told.

    4. Grooming Essentials - Top 5 Products?

    1. My medicated soap called 'Acneguard' that keeps acne under check. Clear skin is a major plus for anybody, be it a man or a woman!

    2. Sunscreen/sunblock. Could be any brand as long as the SPF is good enough to save that skin under the sun.

    3. B Blunt volumizing leave-in spray for that perfect hairdo.

    4. Clinique Aloe shave gel for a good shave. Since it's Aloe Vera based, it really cools the skin down and helps with cuts, if at all.

    5. Clinique charcoal face wash for that extra push for a relatively cleaner face and to keep all that Bombay pollution ruining the skin under control.

    5. Shave Down There Or Trim It?

I like to trim it mostly. But not that I have never shaved it. So, yup, both...depends on my mood. I'm such a moody guy I tell ya!

    6. Best Lighting For Clicking Nudes (Or Just For The Boudoir)?

Top light. Body looks amazing. Now, since you are taking nudes, you might as well look your naked best! *winks*

    7. Any Last Minute Tip?

Just stay happy from within, man! I know it sounds preachy but it's true AF. Meditate if you can take some time out. Don't miss your workouts because they will fix your mental health also and you will obviously look sexier naked. Now, who doesn't want that?
