The next big Apple launch event is next month and we can expect new iPhones and iPads to be announced by the Cupertino giant. However, alongside the iPhones, one of the most successful products by Apple is also expected to launch — the Apple Watch. 

The new Apple Watch has been shrouded in mystery; however, we've been getting a fair idea about its features and design, thanks to Apple and leakers. Here are five things we feel that will define the next Apple smartwatch.

According to various leaks, the Apple Watch is expected to have larger displays than its predecessors. The new smartwatch is expected to have a 15% larger display and will have thinner bezels. This essentially means the smartwatch will not increase in size rather have more space for information to be displayed. The screen size Is expected to be a 1.57-inch or 1.780inch for the two different sized models. 

Apple recently acquired Beddit, a sleep tracking company and it has been long expected for the feature to hit the Apple Watch. It is fair to say that we may see this feature included in the new line up and will probably be integrated with Apple's own Health App.

The new WatchOS will have our favourite feature i.e. push-to-talk or better known as the walkie-talkie feature. This will enable users from sending real-time voice messages to other Apple Watch users. It will probably be our favourite feature on the new operating system and most used as well. It is essentially a FaceTime Audio call between two Apple Watch devices rather than an audio recording.

The new feature is expected to roll out on WatchOS 5 where Siri will always be accessible on the Apple Watch. This means a user will not have to press the side button or hold up one's wrist to activate Siri. This essentially will make it easier for users to set reminders, alarms and get updates without ever worrying about raising their wrists. Having said that, we expect the Apple Watch to have better battery life so that it can last longer than the current generation.

Along with the Walkie-Talkie feature, WatchOS 5 is expected to bring improved health-tracking, the much demanded Podcast App and some other feature Apple may surprise us with.
