With CBI Raiding Its Own Headquarters, Twitter Has Gone Berserk & The Memes Are Pouring In

The world seems to have gone berserk with the strangest bits of news making its way to us on the regular. Be it the 'Thain Thain' cop, or more recently, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raiding its own headquarters in Delhi, bizarre incidents have been breaking the idiot box lately.

While the incident is rather funny, what we need to keep in mind is the fact that the soup CBI landed itself in, is rather messy. According to recent reports, yesterday CBI arrested DSP Devender Kumar on allegations of forgery and falsification, during a probe against Hyderabadi meat exporter Moin Qureshi, which was headed by him.

This quickly escalated up to the higher-ups of the organisation, and after digging further, a case was registered against another top official at CBI Rakesh Asthana, on 15th October, by CBI itself. He has been charged with corruption is the Moin Qureshi case.

Now, Asthana has reportedly also filed a case against CBI director Alok Verma for allegedly having taken a bribe of 2 crores in the said case. Though the case seems to be pretty messy on its own at this initial stage of investigation, the news seems to have given Twitterati a good reason to ROFL.

Twitter was abuzz with funny memes on the raid, and here are a few funny ones for you to LOL over:

We don't know what is to ultimately come out of this case, but for now, we're happy laughing about it.
