Isn't Diwali the festival of lights? Who made it the festival of firecrackers? Like what's even the point of crackers. All they do is create noise and just worsen the already bad air.
But, even after seeing how bad the smog in Delhi has been, people did not learn their lesson and continued bursting crackers, that too way past the permitted time, since Delhi people can do whatever the **** they want because “woh dilli se hai, bc”.
So, obviously the air is worse, and people can't breathe. Not a big deal, right? It's not like we need oxygen to survive or anything. But, some genius people found a way to breathe properly and even burst crackers. They wore breathing masks while bursting crackers. For real. Take some time for the irony to sink in.
No words for these smart people!

Amusing -parents helping kids to fire up fire crackers wearing pollution masks. similar to parents driving on wrong side to drop kids to 'schools'.

Dilliwale, the intellectuals: Breathing mask pehen kar pataakhe jala lunga BC! Jugaad!
Based on true incidents.#Diwali
Why are people so confused?
Just saw a guy in Ghatkopar west wearing a mask and bursting crackers on the road!
Simple question why? #PollutionFreeDiwali
Not acceptable at all.
Yesterday I saw a person with an N95 mask on and burning crackers.
I swear if I was not in my senses, I would have slapped him hard.
I mean you know the are is not suitable for breathing but still you want to make it worse. Not acceptable! #HappyDiwali
Because people are stupid.
Saw a kid wearing a mask and still bursting crackers. When the smoke is so bad for health why burn crackers in the first place ð
— Zoya Fatima (@fatima_zoya26) November 7, 2018Just kept themselves safe.
Professor : What innovative thing you had done in this Diwali
Student : I followed the guidelines of Supreme Court regarding pollution in Delhi
Professor : What you did then
Student : I burned all the crackers by wearing mask to keep myself safe from pollution
A joke.
What do you call a person who burst crackers while wearing pollution mask?
