Just before you thought that the iPhone XS is too expensive and will break your bank savings, we can all learn a lesson from this Russian man. In developing countries such as ours, the iPhone is often is considered a luxury product that brings status. Not everyone can afford Apple's exorbitant prices, unless you've been saving every dime.

The incident was reported by Phonearena as they spotted a Facebook picture which told a very visual story. This may very well be a prank or someone who is extremely good at saving each and every coin. According to Ludmila Semushina, head of the Apple — re:Store, an authorized Apple device seller in Russia, this man walked into the store with a bathtub full of coins. It was carried by a group of men as pictured and the bathtub had approximately 100,000 Russian rubles. That translates to $1,400 US Dollars, which happens to be the price tag of the iPhone XS 256GB variant.

This incident would have obviously left a very disgruntled clerk who would have to count all those coins and a very happy customer of course. According to the full story, the man was able to buy the iPhone but the clerk was definitely annoyed.
