'2.0' Has Already Recovered Almost All Of Its 530 Crore Budget Even Before Its Release

Everyone knows that if you have a big Bollywood star in a movie, it's going to easily cross the 100 crore club, the 200 crore club or the 300 crore club, and it doesn't matter if it's even a good movie or not ('Race 3' and 'Thugs of Hindostan', I'm looking at you)

But, all that usually happens after the movie. However, things are different in the case of '2.0', as you need some real star power to recover almost the entire budget before the movie has even hit the theatres.

Yep, it seems like only Rajinikanth has the power to do that, and adding Akshay Kumar in the equation has its benefits as well.

'2.0' Has Already Recovered Almost All Of Its Budgetlyca productions

'2.0' is one of the most anticipated movies of the year and apparently the costliest movie as well. With a budget of about 530 crores, the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer is the most expensive movie to come out of India, surpassing even the two 'Baahubali' films.

With a crazy budget like that, forget profit, you would think that it's going to be an enormous task to just recover all the money back, but nope, the makers didn't even have to wait for the release of the movie to earn mone

Reportedly, the movie has already earned about 490 crores. Yep, that means only about 40 crores to go, which seems no big deal at all.

Along with breaking records, here's also a little technical breakdown, if anyone's interested:

Satellite Rights: Rs 120 crore (All Versions)

Digital Rights: Rs 60 crore (All Versions)

North Belt Rights: Rs 80 crore (Advance Basis)

Andhra Pradesh/Telangana Rights: Rs 70 crore

Karnataka Rights: Rs 25 crore

Kerala Rights: Rs 15 crore

Total: Rs 370 crore

So yeah, the movie we all knew would obviously do well at the box office is already earning more money than any other movie and even breaking records.
