What we think is really gutsy about the look, however, is that Salman has made absolutely no efforts to give any special treatment to this pair, even though it is a special pair. The frayed edges, the black leather clunky boots, and the irreverence with which he carries out the rest of his blue bootcut jeans - everything is all too conspicuous here, and that's what makes it a statement look.
