The king and the queen of hearts united in real-life but were not that lucky in love in their last box-office outing together, and that's what made the premise of 'Padmaavat' into such a strong story. 

Ranveer, as the mad-in-love and obsessed Khilji, has garnered a lot of praises for his role and now, he is reaping the fruits in terms of sweeping all the 'best actor' trophies out there. 

Last night at the 'Star Screen Awards', he swept the 'best actor' trophy and we were not surprised.

The best part about Ranveer's win was not the award but his acceptance speech, which won all hearts. He dedicated his award to his wife Deepika Padukone and thanked her for keeping him grounded.
