For those who still haven't heard about it, '83' is an upcoming sports movie directed by Kabir Khan, which revolves around India's historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
Until now, not much was known about the movie except the fact that Ranveer Singh will get into the shoes of the Indian Cricket team's legendary former captain, Kapil Dev. But, now the makers of the movie have slowly begun to reveal the entire cast and the first name that has surfaced is of famous Punjabi singer, Ammy Virk.View this post on Instagram

Ammy Virk, who is known for songs like 'Qismat' and 'Daryaa' from 'Manmarziyaan', is all set to make his Bollywood debut as Balwinder Singh Sandhu, the bowler who swung the '83 World Cup India's way. In 1983, Sandhu took the crucial wicket of Gordon Greenidge and helped the team win the match.
