Google Maps Now Ensures Youandamprsquoll Never Spend More Than A Few Seconds Looking For Your Car

Google has updated their “Maps” app, which can now remember where exactly you parked your car. There have been many instances in Indian markets where I tend to forget where I parked my car since there is always a plethora of vehicles swarming in parking lots.

The feature was originally a part of the Google Maps beta (exclusive to Android) and is now live as a key feature on iOS and Android. You can activate the feature by tapping the blue icon and choose the option to “Save your parking”. There is also an additional option for you to add notes such as “on K.G. Marg” to leave yourself precise instructions. You can even send the location of your parked car to your friend or click a picture of the spot for better reference.

The Google blog said “"This is in addition to the automatic parking detection you might have already noticed in Google Maps for iOS. If you connect to your car using USB audio or Bluetooth, your parking spot will be automatically added to the map when you disconnect and exit the vehicle."

This new feature is different from Google Maps’ automatic parking detection which can track the location of your car without any intervention from your end. You can update the app for Android and iOS to start using the new feature now.
