You all know who Sundar Pichai is, by now. The man needs no introduction. Spearheading Google for over 2 years now, Pichai has been just as much in news as he has been in his job as Google’s CEO. Of course, we are proud. He sets an example of how things can change while you immerse yourself in to chasing on your goals.

Anyway, back to reality. Appraisal season is in full swing. Some got what they expected and some would sadly have to do with what they have been given. But, Sundar Pichai is not from this 9-5 working realm. He’s the Greek god of techies throughout the world when it comes to stacking dollars for salary. Mr. Pichai almost doubled his salary to a staggering $200 million dollars last year. Pichai received a salary of about $650,000 last year, slightly less than the $652,500 he earned in 2015.

In August 2015 though, he received a stock award of $198.7 million and in 2016, roughly double his 2015 stock award of $99.8 million.  The raises comes after Google’s sales went up 22.5% and net income rose to 19 percent, retaining the top spot for world’s number one internet advertiser. Alright guys, time to call your boss up!
