Billy Porter, the 'Pose' star has served us one look after the other this year. Starting with the Oscars where he wore a tuxedo gown, which was an iconic outfit, he's decided to keep up with his out-of-the-world outfits. 

For the Met Gala this year, Billy Porter arrived on the red carpet dressed as an Egyptian winged pharaoh. The almost diva-like entrance was carried out by the six shirtless attendants who carried Billy Porter on a plank while strutting on the red carpet.

Imagine the grand entrance for a second. Wouldn't you want an entry like that?

After entering, Porter unfurled the wings that spread out into a big spectacle.

Considering that the theme for the Met Gala was 'Camp', which was all about being out of this world and unnatural artifice, it looks like Billy Porter nailed it.

Porter spoke to a leading publication and said “Camp means irreverence,”  he added, "Camp means as hugely over-the-top and grand and what some may feel is ridiculous and silly, and embracing all of those creative impulses inside us that very often are squelched.” he said.
