There are poets and then there are poets. Faiz Ahmad Faiz’s poetry has been a guiding light to many a battered soul and broken heart. One of the greatest revolutionary poets we’ve seen, his verses have inspired generations and continue to do so. His love verses have seen us through tough times and taught us there is nothing more beautiful than a broken heart. A heart that has loved and lost, a heart that knows the pain of loving, because love is a selfless act. To love is to lose yourself. Who better than Faiz to tell us.
