Just when we thought this Monday too will be another boring day, which in an ideal world should not exist, Ayushmann Khurrana came around, said "Hold my beer" and dropped the trailer of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.

The trailer has all the ingredients for a classic romcom recipe - two people meeting and falling in love, intense drama, dirty jokes, a kiss, DDLJ moment and tons of laughter. But, there's a twist. The boy's parents and society are against his love and want him to marry someone else. A girl, because their son is gay and his boyfriend is not willing to let go of his love.

How the two lovers try to convince their family to accept them for who they are and their love weaves the rest of the plot. Ayushmann Khurrana and Jeetu plays lovers in the movie that takes a dig on Homophobia in the brutally hilarious way possible. That DDLJ ending was surely like the icing on the cake.  

Written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya, the movie also stars Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, Manvi Gagroo, Pankhuri Awasthi and more and is expected to release on February 21 2020. This time Gajraj and Neena are not playing Ayushmann's parents, but Ayushmann's love-hate relationship with Gajraj is what we are shipping here.

As expected, Ayushmann's fans couldn't contain their excitement and have been since flooded social media with their funny reactions and memes.

If you thought that only Akshay Kumar makes message-driven movies, y'all have clearly not seen Ayushmann's work. He's the guy who makes movies on issues that no one wants to talk about, and then turns them into movies everyone wants to talk about.
