It has happened finally. ‘Baahubali 2’ has become the first Indian film to make Rs 1000 crores i.e. the highest grossing Indian film ever! Considering how the movie broke records in its opening week itself, this was expected. SS Rajamouli’s epic saga has really become the ‘Baahubali’ of Indian cinema, in terms of the sheer money it earned.

Earning Rs 600 crores in the first 4 days itself, ‘Baahubali 2’ has been on a record-breaking spree. It began with breaking the opening box office record of Aamir’s ‘Dangal’ that grossed Rs 10 crore. And now by crossing the Rs 1000-crore mark, the film has set a first in the history of Indian cinema.
