It was about time that ‘La La Land’ got the Honest Trailer treatment, and it was well worth the wait. We love the hilarious breakdown of popular movies that Honest Trailers does, and this time they did not hold back at all.

They started off by presenting the most talked about movie of last year as a "tale of passion, love and ditching all that nonsense when your career takes off."

The movie follows ‘hotties’ Emma Stone as an actress and Ryan Gosling as a "jazzisist" as they "pursue their goals with single-minded ambition" in a fantasy version of LA. Everything about the Oscar-winning film gets scrutinized and ripped apart - from the ‘selfish’ lead stars, to the unrealistic depiction of Los Angeles.

But the best part of the video comes halfway, at the 2:38 mark, where the narrator apparently discovers  that the video should actually be for this year's Best Picture, Moonlight, making fun of the biggest mix-up that has ever happened at the Academy Awards.

“Guys, guys, I’m sorry — no, there’s been a huge mistake. Moonlight — you guys are this week’s Honest Trailer,” the narrator cuts in awkwardly. He then proceeds to read out all the ‘Moonlight’ actors’ full names, rather than giving them a nickname like he usually does, because they would have been thanked at the ceremony “had that guy from Price Waterhouse Cooper not been too busy taking selfies to keep track of the envelope."
